Millie J. Cooper
Millie J. Cooper, age 86, of Versailles, born in Mammoth Springs, Arkansas, on July 2, 1919, the daughter of Hiram Benjamin and Edna Osborn Murphy. In Versailles on March 12, 1939, she was united in marriage with Earl Jessie Cooper who preceded her in death by three brothers, John, Sid, and Marion Paul Murphy, and three sisters, Zelma Hinkin, Jewel Marriott, and Pauline Stewart. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, November 25, 2005, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the First Assembly of God Church of Versailles. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.

Virginia Ellen (Ginny) Mason
Virginia Ellen (Ginny) Mason, age 84, of Versailles, born October 26, 1921 in Excelsior Springs, Missouri, the daughter of William Palmer and Della Eugene Duncan Shelton. She was united in marriage on June 11, 1947 with William Lewis Mason, who preceded her in death by one daughter, Ginny Lynn May, three brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be at – November -, 2005 at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles. Graveside services will be at – November -, at Floral Hill passed away on November 18, 2005, at her home in Versailles. She was death by her husband “Sport” on July 28, 1980, her parents Thomas and Grace Eagleman, four brothers Donald, Benjamin Charles, and Thomas, two sisters Alene Vanwald and Carmen Wade and one special niece Wanda Tews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, November 21, 2005, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles. A second Interment will be in the Murdo passed away Saturday, November 19, 2005 at Boone Hospital in Columbia. She was interment will be at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Evergreen passed away Thursday afternoon, November 17, 2005 at Pioneer Skilled Nursing Center in Marceline. She was death on March 3, 1977. Mrs. Hill was a homemaker and member of Truth Tabernacle Church. She is survived by three sons, Earl Hill of Versailles, Floyd Hill of Syracuse, and Cecil Hill of Booneville; one daughter, Audrey O’Bryan of Marceline; one brother, Arvel Sweezea of Naylor; 16 grandchildren, 10 step grandchildren, numerous great and great great-grandchildren, and step great and great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in Cemetery near Piedmont, Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.

Wanda Sue Stewart
Wanda Sue Stewart, age 53, of Sunrise Beach, born February 5, 1952 in Oakland, Nebraska, the daughter of Oliver and Sylvia Tranmer Smith. She was united in marriage on July 8, 1984 with David B. Stewart. Mrs. Stewart was a homemaker and secretary of American Heating and Cooling in Sunrise Beach. She was a member of Sunrise Bible Church in Sunrise Beach. She is survived by her husband, David B. Stewart of the home; three daughters, Tina Rickard of Tampa, Florida, Erin Doll of Omaha, Nebraska, and Tara Stewart of the home; five step children, Dawna, David, James, Jonathan, and Jeff; two brothers, Terry Smith of Papillion, Nebraska, and Bruce Smith of Orlando, Florida; two grandchildren, Kendall and Kayla, many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 19, at Sunrise Bible Church, with Pastor Nick Stutesman officiating. Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Kidwell-Garber Laurie-Sunrise Beach Chapel in Laurie. Memorial contributions are suggested to Sunrise Bible Church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Laurie.

James Lee Ball Sr.
James Lee Ball Sr., age 78, of Versailles, born February 13, 1927 in East St. Louis, Illinois, the son of Bernadott and Hazel Ball. He was united in marriage on July 17, 1958 with Victoriana Torres. Mr. Ball was a dedicated police officer for over 20 years with the Edgewater Police Department in Edgewater, Colorado, and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He is remembered by his wife of 47 years, Vicoriana of the home; and his children, Michael Ball of Denver, CO, Kathleen Thibault of Rock Hills, S.C., James Ball Jr. of Piedmont, R. Patrick Ball of Arvada, CO, John Ball of Laurie, Lawrence Ball of Sunrise Beach, Mary Wright of Versailles, and Kelly Norman of Sunrise Beach, and their spouses, 15 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and by his many friends and family who he shared his life with. Memorial services will be at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 16, at Locust Baptist Mission Church with Pastor Dallas Moritz officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.
