Donald Wilson
DEXTER - Donald Wilson, 76, of Dexter, died Monday, Jan. 15, 2001, at the Dexter Memorial Hospital in Dexter.
The funeral arrangements are pending with Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter.

Quitman R. Brigman
DEXTER, Mo. - Quitman Robert Brigman, 77, of Dexter, died Monday Nov. 1, 1999, at the Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Mr. Brigman was born Feb. 8, 1922, at Tupelo, Miss. He was a retired farmer and of the Baptist faith.
On March 13, 1942, he married Beulah Evelyn Clifton at Harrisburg, Ark. She died Aug. 21, 1990.
On April 21, 1991, he married Thelma Juanita McCoy at Dexter. She survives.
Also surviving are a son, Quitman Jack Brigman of McRay, Ark., and a grandson, Roger Brigman of Dexter.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Rainey Funeral Home in Bernie. A funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in the Smith-Stevenson Cemetery at Dexter.

Thomas D. Blankenship
DEXTER - Thomas Dale Blankenship, 20, of Canton died Monday, March 6, 2000.
Mr. Blankenship was born May 14, 1979, at Cape Girardeau. He was a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Dexter. He attended Culver-Stockton College in Canton where he was very active in the collegiate choir, in campus theater productions and a writer for the college newspaper Megaphone.
Surviving are his parents, Rick and Kaye Blankenship of Dexter; one brother, Jon Matthew Blankenship of Dexter; and his paternal grandparents, Robert and Mary Ellen Blankenship of Dexter.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Vaughn Wright officiating. Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.

Hazel McSwain
CAPE GIRARDEAU - Hazel Marie McSwain, 87, of Bourbonnais, Ill., died Saturday, April 14, 2001, at the Provena Our Lady of Victory Nursing Home in Bourbonnais.
Mrs. Swain was born Aug. 20, 1913, in Cape Girardeau. She was affiliated with the First United Methodist Church in Poplar Bluff and had been employed as a licensed practical nurse with Lucy Lee Hospital and John J. Pershing VA Medical Center.
On Feb. 15, 1935, she married Winston Alfred McSwain in Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death in 1983.
Survivors include one son, William A. McSwain of Rocky River, Price officiating. Burial will be in the Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Provena Our Lady of Victory Nursing Home, 20 Briarcliff Lane, Bourbonnais, Ill. 60914.

Elizabeth Lowe
BLOOMFIELD -Elizabeth Ellen (Betty) Lowe, 81, formerly of Bloomfield died Saturday, Feb. 13, 2001, in Salem, Ore.
Mrs. Lowe was born March 6,1919, in Nogales, Ariz. She and her family lived in the Bloomfield community for 17 years.
On June 1, 1940, she married Dalbert A. Lowe. He preceded her in death Nov. 18, 1979.
Survivors include two sons, Perry Lowe of Dallas, Ore. and William Lowe of Denver, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday at the Henson Cemetery in Ellsinore with the Rev. Phil Tanner officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Henson Cemetery Fund.

Theodore Aubuchon
Theodore F. "Pete" Aubuchon, 82, of Poplar Bluff died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2001, at Three Rivers Healthcare-South Campus.
Mr. Aubuchon was born Dec. 1, 1918, in Chaffee and was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He had retired from J.C. Penney Co. Inc. where he worked in the maintenance department, was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II. During the Korean War he served as a flight instructor at the Malden Air Base. He enjoyed reading, model airplanes and corresponding with people.
Survivors include one brother, George F. AuBuchon of Athens, Ala.; and one sister, Anna Davi of Poplar Bluff; and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be at noon Saturday, March 3, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Mike McDevitt officiating. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Cotrell Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Kenneth A. Sowul
DONIPHAN - Kenneth A. Sowul, 66, of Doniphan died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2002, at his home. He was born March 16, 1935, in Chicago, Ill. He moved to Ripley County from Park City, Ill.
Mr. Sowul was a retired lineman for a telephone company. He served in the U.S. Air Force four years and attended St. Anne Catholic Church in Grandin.
He married Carrol Ann Sowul Feb. 23, 1991, in Waukegan, Ill. She preceded him in death.
Survivors are one son, Shawn Sowul, of Antioch, Ill.; one daughter, Cynthia Apolo of Paddock Lake, Wis.; three stepdaughters, Karen Sowul of Antioch, Ill., Debora Bokan of Zion, Ill., and Sherry Reitz of Milwaukee, Wisc.; one sister, Gloria Wunderlich of Lake Caroll, Ill.; and several grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Grandin with the Rev. David Dohogne officiating.
Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan is in charge of arrangements.
