Jeff Yandell
NEELYVILLE -- Jeff Yandell, 67, of Harviell died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2002, at Three Rivers Healthcare-North Campus in Poplar Bluff.
Mr. Yandell was born Jan. 5, 1935, in Weber Falls, Okla. He was a lifelong resident of the Neelyville and Harviell areas and was a retired farmer. He was affiliated with the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed fishing, collecting Indian relics and auctions.
He was married to Helen Marie Brickley. He later married Ruth Helton on Feb. 1, 2002. She survives.
Other survivors include three sons, James Yandell of Neelyville, Frankie Yandell of Kokomo, Ind., and Glen Yandell of Harviell; three stepsons, Danny Brickley and David Hensley, both of Corning, Ark., and Daniel Hensley of Odessa; three daughters, Kathy Ainley of Harviell, Janie Milam of Qulin and Patricia Bruce of Poplar Bluff; one stepdaughter, Ethel Glover of Harrisonville; four sisters, Vada James of Oxly, Marlean Norton of Harviell and Sue Holt and Mary Ray, both of Corning; five brothers, J.W. Yandell of Neelyville, Donnie Yandell and Larry Yandell, both of Corning, Danny Yandell of Doniphan and Richard Yandell of Success, Ark.; five stepgrandchildren; 17 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at noon Sunday at the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville. A graveside funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the Neelyville City Cemetery with the Rev. Billy Snow officiating.

Laura Center
MALDEN -- Laura Center, 86, of Campbell died Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2002, at Three Rivers Healthcare-North Campus in Poplar Bluff.
Arrangements are pending with Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

Thelma Stephens
PUXICO -- Thelma Stephens, 85, of Puxico, formerly of McGee, died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2002, at Saint Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Mrs. Stephens was born June 6, 1917, in McGee. She was a member of Brown General Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, going to church and singing in the choir.
On April 2, 1938, she married Oren Stephens in Bloomfield. He survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Keith Stephens of Jackson and Gary Stephens of St. Peters; one daughter, Jean Placher of Puxico; three sisters, Edna Barks of Puxico, Lois Wilfong of McGee and Mary J. Barks of Cahokia, Ill.; two brothers, Henry Rodgers of Tulelake, Ohio; one sister, Elwanda Sebree of Dudley; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will begin after 6 tonight at Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Bob Texas.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. today at Poplar Bluff City Cemetery with Mr. Jerry Robertson officiating. Cotrell Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Darrell Hunter, Jr.
Darrell Ross Hunter, Jr., 43, of Poplar Bluff, died Sunday, June 1, 2003, at Three Rivers Healthcare-North Campus in Poplar Bluff.
Mr. Hunter was born Oct. 8, 1959, in Dexter and was disabled. He was a former minister and a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Poplar Bluff.
Survivors include his mother, Carolyn S. Pennington of Poplar Bluff; and two sisters, Rema Revelle and Rachel Brooks, both of Poplar Bluff.
Visitation will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. A graveside funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Brown Chapel Cemetery in Broseley with the Rev. Eddy Sisco officiating.

Fern Clark
FISK - Fern Alberta (Hayes) Clark, 78, of Paducah, Ky., died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2001, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.
Mrs. Clark was born July 18, 1922, in Fisk. She was a homemaker and had lived in Paducah for six years. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
On Feb. 1, 1942, she married William Lawrence "Curly" Clark. He preceded her in death Nov. 2, 1974.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda Cook of Paducah; one son, Bobby Clark of Dunn officiating. Burial will be in the Shain Memorial Cemetery in Fisk.
