Died Sunday, June 15, 2008, in Jonesboro, Ark.

Ralph Joseph Mayou
Ralph Joseph Mayou, 77, Pomona.
Died 10:36 p.m. Monday, June 16, 2008, in Ozarks Medical Center, West Plains.
Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Charles Hess
Charles W. Hess, 71, of Bell City, was born November 3, 1929, at Painton, the son of the late Earl and Blanche Dean Hess, and died June 20, 2001, at his home after an extended illness.
Charles retired in 1991 after 25 years of service at Hunter Engineering Company in St. Louis.
He was a member of the Bell City United Methodist Church and the Bell City Masonic Lodge.
Charles was a Veteran of the United States Army.
He was married to Doris Abner in marriage on August 15, 1949, at Bloomfield and she survives of the home.
Other survivors include three daughters, Dottie Neldon of Wright City, Mo., Mary Garza of Inverness, Fla., and Kathy Molos of St. Peters, Mo.; two sisters, Eunice Vancil of Collinsville, Ill. and Frances Eberdhart of Belleville, Ill.; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 22, from 5-8 p.m., at the Morgan Funeral Home in Advance with Masonic Rites at 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 23, at 2 p.m., at the Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance with Rev. Charles Garza and Rev. Linda Zych officiating.
Interment will follow in the Williams Cemetery in Perkins with Morgan Funeral Home of Advance in charge of arrangements.

Nora Harnetz
Nora Mae Harnetz of Dexter was born Feb. 5, 1901 and died Monday, Oct. 16, 2000, at Beverly Healthcare in Dexter at the age of 99.

B. Waggoner
Barbara Eleanor Waggoner, daughter of the late Harry Holland Sr. and Grace Gaines Holland was born on March 22, 1933 at Elgin, Ill. and died at her residence near Bloomfield on Oct. 18, 2000, at the age of 67.

James Hewitt
James Hewitt, a resident of Dexter, died suddenly in the Industrial Arts Building of the Dexter Senior High School on Oct. 18, 2000.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by the Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter.

Winfred Garner
Winfred C. Garner, son of the late Ezra Garner and Dona Clakrson Garner was born on July 19, 1923 in Dexter, and departed this life in the Southeast Hospital at Cape Girardeau on Oct. 6, 2000 at the age of 77 years.

Riley Layton
Riley Layton, son of the late John Layton and Elizabeth Robey Layton, was born on Aug. 31, 1906, at Bloomfield, and died at the residence of his daughter in Dexter on Sept. 16, 2000, at the age of 94 years.

Ruth M. Craig
Ruth Mae Craig, daughter of the late Butler and Minnie Welborn Mallory was born at Dexter on Sept. 28, 1914 and died at the Dexter Memorial Hospital in Dexter on Oct. 13, at the age of 86.

Regina Williams
Regina Williams, daughter of Lawrence Vernon Thornton and Mandy Ophelia Wilson Thornton was born at Portageville on July 14, 1961, and died in the Dexter Memorial Hospital on Oct. 14, 2000, at the age of 39.

Rev. Ina Smith
Rev. Ina Allen Smith, 87, of Dexter formerly of Bell City, was born Nov. 4, 1912 at McClure, Ill., the daughter of the late Hosea Augusta and Maude Lemes Hooker, and died Oct. 14, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

C. Humphreys
Clyde Dee Humphreys, 64, of Mesa, Ariz., was born Sept. 3, 1936 at Zalma, the son of the late Robert C. and Sadie Sylcox Humphreys and died, Thursday, Oct. 5, 2000, in Mesa, Ariz.

James Williams
James Edward Williams was born Dec. 24, 1918, son of the late William Ashley and Nellie Mae York Williams, and died Oct. 13, 2000, at his home in Sikeston at the age of 81.

W. E. Campbell
William E. "Bill" Campbell, son of the late Levi Campbell and Alice Bryant Campbell was born on Dec. 12, 1920 at Harviell, Mo. and died on Oct. 16, 2000, in the Southeast Missouri Hospital at Cape Girardeau, at the age of 79.

E. Rodgers
Elizabeth Rodgers, the daughter of the late John Goforth, was born in Wiona, Mo. on July 14, 1920, and died at the Beverly Healthcare Center in Cape Girardeau on Oct. 12, 2000, at the age of 80.

Oliver McClung
Oliver McClung, a resident of Parma, died March 10, 2000, at the Sikeston Healthcare Center.

Bill Sibole
Bill Wayne Sibole, a resident of Wichita Falls, Texas, was born on Sept. 29, 1948, in Fort Wayne, Ind., and died Tuesday, March 7, 2000, at W. Erle & Emma White Hospice Center in Wichita Falls, Texas, at the age of 51.

Arzetta Huitt
Arzetta Jack Huitt was born on Jan. 23, 1919, in Dent County to the late Clarence Jack and Amy Schults Jack and died Wednesday, March 8, 2000, at Dexter Memorial Hospital at the age of 81.

Ruby Gilkey
Ruby Evaline Gilkey, a resident of Gideon, was born on June 11, 1932, in Danville, Ark., to the late Joseph Virgil Gilkey and Bessie Freeman Gilkey and died Monday, May 15, 2000, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett at the age of 67.

Murl Clary
Murl Clary, son of Vevlean Hamby Clary of Dexter, was born on Oct. 24, 1935, in Bloomfield and died Sunday, April 16, 2000, at the Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Sarasota, Fla., at the age of 64.
Mr. Clary was a retired electrician, working for General Motors.
He was a 1954 graduate of Dexter High School and a resident of Prudenville, Mich.
His survivors include one son, Donald Ray Clary of Florida; one daughter, Carmen G. Clary of Bay City, Mich.; his mother, Vevlean Clary of Dexter; one sister, Maxine Garner of Dexter; a special friend, Diane Stein; other relatives and many friends.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today, April 19, 2000, in the Caroline-Dowdy Cemetery near Dexter.
The Rev. Jim Adams will officiate, with Rainey Funeral Home of Dexter in charge of all arrangements.

Jerry Lucas
A memorial service will be held for Jerry Everett Lucas on Saturday, April 21, at 2 p.m. in the Bernie General Baptist Church, Fleming St., Bernie. Rev. Arvil Edmonds will be officiating.

Donald Ellis
Donald Ellis, a resident of Bloomfield, died April 12, 2001, in St. Louis Veterans Administration Hospital at the age of 81.

Laura Christian
Laura Bell Christian, daughter of the late Sylvia and Edna Pritchett Roper was born at Bell City, on Sept. 7, 1923, and died at St. Louis, on April 20, 2001, at the age of 77.
