Roy Fr. Brown, 81, of Rolla, died Nov. 9, 2003.
Arrangements are under the direction of Null and Son Funeral Home Rolla.

Kenneth Wayne Parker
Kenneth Wayne Parker, 58, of Arthur City, Texas, died on Tuesday, February 10, 2004.
All arrangements are under the direction of the Spencer Funeral Home, Salem.

Eugene Udell Wann
Eugene Udell Wann son of Enlow Wann Sr. and Helen Drumdtt Wann passed from this life Wednesday, November 27, 2002 at the age of 45.
He was born October 10, 1957 in Rolla.
Eugene loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing.
He worked on all of our cars because he liked mechanics.
He is survived by his brothers Enlow Jr., Roger, Darryl, and Bruce Wann, all of Rolla; two sisters, Tina Wann and Kay McDowell and husband Chester, of Rolla; niece Jennifer Wann; nephews, Jimmy Farris, Branneon Wann and Mark Morris, all of Rolla, and a host of other relatives.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Becky Wann.
Funeral services for Eugene Udell Wann will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2002 at the Teague and Sons Funeral Home in Newburg. Visitation will be the same morning from 9-11 a.m. Pastor Gary Teague will be officiating.
Burial will be at the Craddock Cemetery in Licking.
All arrangements are under the direction of the Teague and Son Funeral Home.

Alpha Barber
Alpha Barber, 83, died on June 20, 2003 in Bellevue, Wash. Alpha was born as Alpha Lorraine Hazlewood on August 10, 1919 in Rolla.
She met her husband, George Barber, in Rolla where he attended the University of Missouri-Rolla.
Alpha and George raised two children and shared a happy life together until George's death in 1999.
From 1966 to 1997, they lived in Sunnyvale, Calif., where they were active members of Raynor Park Christian Church, and Alpha was director of a preschool/dance school.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2003 at Raynor Park Christian Church, 1515 Partridge Ave., Sunnyvale.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations (of any size) be sent in Alpha's name to the Alzheimer's Association, via phone (800)272-3900, mail (Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Lorraine Eaves
Lorraine Eaves, 79, of Edgar Springs, died Tuesday, November 18, 2003.
All arrangements are under the direction of the Fox Funeral Home, Licking.

Donald L. Cantrell
Donald L. Cantrell, 69, of Crocker, died Saturday, November 15, 2003.
All arrangements are under the direction of the Long Funeral Home, Crocker.

Dr. Ralph St. Clair Carson
A memorial celebration for Dr. Ralph St. Clair Carson will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, 2003, at First Presbyterian Church, Rolla, 919 E. 10th St.
A short reception will follow at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts are suggested to the Phelps Regional Homecare Hospice or First Presbyterian Church music or memorial garden funds.

Mary Lorraine Chilton
Mary Lorraine Chilton, of St. James, passed away Nov. 16, 2003, at the age of 78 years, 7 months and 15 days.
Lorraine (Midge) was born March 31, 1925, to Oles Patrick and Mayma Lee Horne Patrick in Coaling, Ala.
On Aug. 8, 1941, Lorraine married Marvin L. Chilton and to this union eight children were born, and two were adopted.
Lorraine was a member of the First Christian Church, liked to read, crochet, bake and work with flowers.
Most of all Lorraine enjoyed her family.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, and one daughter, Mary Etta Blackburn; one son, Eddie Patrick, and one granddaughter, Tina Marie Chilton.
Left to mourn her passing: husband, Marvin L. Chilton, St. James; children Jean Watkins and husband Bob, of St. James, Larry Chilton and wife Judy, of Wesco, Dale Chilton, of California, Sharon Tennyson and husband Jerrry, of Rolla, Donna Bruns and husband Matt, of Rogersville, Richard Chilton, of Bourg, Louisiana, Debbie Scudder and husband John, of Jackson, Wyo., and Lyndon Patrick, of Springfield; one sister, Betty Sciortino and husband Vic, of Hammond, La., and one brother, Donald Patrick, of Houma, La.
Surviving grandchildren are Jenna Smith, Robin Hutto, Patrick Chilton, Derek Chilton, Larry Chilton, Brandy Sears, Sedric Waguespack, Effie Welch, Jerry Maddox, Curtis Waguespack, Michael Waguespack, Marie Lynch, Roland Chilton, Mary Ellen, Joshua, Sherry and Ted Chilton, Jake Scudder, Elizabeth Scudder, Joy Chilton, Bill Plank, John Watkins, Tom Plank, Tammy Terrill and Terry Miers.
Surviving great-grandchildren are Danny Waguespack, Hanna Waguespack, Dayton Lynch, Dawson Lynch, Ethan Maddox, Mishayla Smith, Kaeden Smith, Gant Scudder, Paxon Scudder, Dehring Scudder, Brittany Chilton, Brandon Chilton, Bobbie DeShea Sears, Shelby Sears, Evyn Chilton, Ethan Chilton, Lauren Chilton, Ian Chilton, Joshua Chilton, Blake Terrill, Travis Terrill, Alyssa Terrill, John Terrill, Justin Lorts, Dylan Lorts, Levi Hutto, Billy Plank, Tommy Plank, Zach Plank, Mary Etta Miers and Jason Miers.
Surviving great-great-grandchildren are Macey Terrill, Bailey Terrill and Annie Terrill.
Services for Mary Lorraine Chilton will be held at 1 p.m. today, Wednesday, Nov.19, 2003, at the James and Gahr Mortuary chapel in St. James with the Reverend John Scudder Jr. officiating.
Memorials are suggested to the Children's Miracle Network or the Heart Fund.
Arrangements are under the direction of James and Gahr Mortuary, St. James.

Betty Ann Matlock
Betty Ann Matlock, 65, of St. James died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2004.
Arrangements are under the direction of James and Gahr Mortuary, in St. James.

George C. Purcell
George C. Purcell, 83, of Salem, died on Wednesday, February 11, 2004.
All arrangements are under the direction of the James and Gahr Mortuary, Salem.

William "Gordon" Hale
William "Gordon" HaleWilliam "Gordon" Hale, of Rolla, passed away Saturday, Feb. 9, 2002, at the age of 68 years, five months and 26 days.
Gordon Hale was born August 14, 1933, in St. James to the late Lindsay and Isabelle (Grieg) Hale.
Gordon served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.
After his military career, he went on to serve the citizens of Missouri as a Missouri Highway Patrol Officer for 35 years, starting in Troop F and later transferring to Troop I in Rolla.
Some of his accomplishments as a trooper include being an assistant zone commander for Dent County, Miss Missouri Pageant escort, and he escorted Phyllis George to the Miss America Pageant the year she was crowned Miss America.
Gordon still holds the record for DWI arrests.
He was an avid golfer and member of Oak Meadow Country Club.
He loved cars, reading and was a member of the Salem Avenue Baptist Church.
He loved his family and enjoyed the time he spent with them.
Gordon Hale was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Dorothy Durphy and Evelyn Robinson, and brother Russell Hale.
Gordon Hale is survived by his wife, Ramona Hale, of the home; children Carrie Lynn Brazeau and husband Steve, of Kansas City, Kimberly Denise Hale and fiancee Shaun Bisted, of St. Louis, Clark Hale Fuhlage and wife Lusia, of Columbia, and Ron Calvert and wife Elaine, of Santa Maria, California; two brothers, Paul Hale and wife Jean, of St. Louis, and Norman Hale and wife Minuen, of Washington; sisters Louise Oliver, of Madras, Oregon, and Claire Mullen, of St. Louis; sisters-in-law Betty Hinds, of Centralia, Gwen Mattingly and husband Ronnie, of Columbia, and Sheryl Willier and husband John, of Paris, Missouri; grandchildren Crystal and Codey Brazeau, Enrique, Veronica and Adriana Fuhlage and Tommy and Kevin Calvert.
Gordon was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral services for Gordon were held at 10 a.m. today, Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2002, at the Salem Avenue Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin Payne officiating.
Honor guards will be Sergeant Gene E. "Skip" DeSalme, Sergeant B. J. Matthews, Sergeant Danny J. Crain, Sergeant Michael W. Jones, Trooper H. Hames Folsom and Trooper Philip J. Little.
Pallbearers will be Sergeant Gary L. Dunlap, Sergeant Eric K. Volkmer, Sergeant DeSalme, Sergeant Matthews, Sergeant Jones and Trooper Jones.
Honorary pallbearers are Ronald L. Headrick, Earl E. Erickson, Clarence "Mel" E. Fisher, Ray A. Hoevelman, Paul V. Volkmer, Howard J.L. Hoffman, Anthony J. Viessman, Donald E. Graham, Bill D. Smith, Roger L. Creighton and Lieutenant Elbert L. Marshall.
The family requests memorials in lieu of flowers to the MASTERS Program (Missouri Association of State Troopers Relief Society); cards are available at the funeral home.
Interment was in the Walnut Grove Cemetery in Paris, Missouri at 3 p.m. today, Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2002.
Visitation for Gordon was at the Rolla Chapel of the James and Gahr Mortuary from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday evening, Feb. 12, 2002.
All arrangements are under the direction of the James and Gahr Mortuary in Rolla.

Joseph D. "Denny" Lanning
Joseph D. "Denny" Lanning, of Poplar Bluff, formerly of Rolla, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2003 at the Three Rivers Healthcare Center in Poplar Bluff at the age of 81.
He was born in Beulah, Mo., on June 23, 1921 to the late Joseph and Dora (Green) Lanning.
In 1953, he married Gaul Paschal, who preceded him in death in 1989.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, Edgar Lanning and four sisters, Ruby Sally, Willabelle Wiley, Louise Roach and Anita Elliot.
Mr. Lanning was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Poplar Bluff.
He served as mayor of Poplar Bluff in 1975.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during WWII and the Korean Conflict.
He will be greatly missed by his surviving family which includes his daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and John Stuller, of Rolla; his son, Joe Lanning, of San Diego; his sister, Kay Wagner, of Olympia, Wa.; his brother, Ken Lanning, of Rolla; four grandsons, many nieces and nephews and many fine friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2003 at the First Presbyterian Church in Poplar Bluff.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2003 in the Rolla Cemetery with Pastor Tim Cook officiating.
Memorial contributions are suggested to A.C.O.R.N.
Local arrangements are under the direction of the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla.

Ruby Melton
Ruby Melton, of Los Angeles, California, and formerly of Edgar Springs, passed away at her home on Sunday, Sept. 29, 2002, at the age of 87.
She was born near Edgar Springs on Jan. 17, 1915 to the late Charles and Maude (Jesse) Haley.
In 1935, she married Leslie Melton who preceded her in death in April, 1976.
In addition to her parents and husband, one sister, Laura Ray, preceded her in death.
Surviving family members include two sisters, Alta LeFever and Helen Ryno, both of Los Angeles, other extended family members and dear friends.
Funeral services for Ruby Melton will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, 2002 at the Null and Son Funeral Home.
Interment will follow the service in the Smith Cemetery in Edgar Springs.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, at the funeral home.
All arrangements are under the direction of the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla.
