Nina McMillian-Sherrell, 83, of Dixon, died Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2002, at Capital Region Medical Center, Jefferson City.
Arrangements are under the direction of Long-Gilbert Funeral Home, Dixon.

Mary Elizabeth Meisenheimer
Mary Elizabeth Meisenheimer, of Alton, Illinois, and formerly of Rolla, passed away June 30, 2004, at the Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis at the age of 49.

Monroe Barton
Monroe Barton, 85, of Bunker, died Oct. 23, 2002.
Arrangements are under the direction of James and Gahr Mortuary in Salem.

Philip Ripley Dodge
Philip Ripley Dodge, of St. James, passed away Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004, at the Phelps County Regional Medical Center at the age of 64.
He was born in Attleboro, Mass., on Dec. 19, 1939, to the late Philip M. and Evelyn (Ripley) Dodge.
On April 23, 1971, he married Sally Kullback, who survives.
Mr. Dodge was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the American Legion and Disabled American Veterans.
His surviving family members include his wife Sally, of the home; a son, Brett Dodge, of California; three daughters, Cynthia-Ann Wetmore, of Rolla; Mary Warinner, of Oregon, and Kelly Ryan, of California; two sisters, Cyntia Theriault, of Massachusetts, and Sasha Moore, of New Hampshire; four grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
No formal funeral is scheduled, however, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association in care of Null & Son Funeral Home of Rolla.

Dorothy J. Hirst
Dorothy J. Hirst passed away on Thursday, Dec.2, 2004 due to complications following a massive stroke, which occurred on Nov. 29, 2004.
She is survived by her son, Harry R. Norris, of Rolla; daughters, Daryl Haeusser, of Jerseyville, Ill., Donna Muscarella, and Lynn Woods, both of St. Louis; sister, Esther, of Kirksville; grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Ms. Hirst was a founding member of the Baden Neighborhood Watch. In her youth she took dance classes with Betty Grable, and attended the St. Louis Conservatory of Music. She served with the USO during W.W.II, and leaves behind a rich heritage of community service.
Born in 1918, Ms. Hirst was 86 years of age, at the time of her passing.
Cards and flowers may be sent to the Buchholp Mortuary, in Florrisant, Mo.
Interment will be in the Laurel Hills Cemetery, in St. Louis.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Buchholz Mortuary, in Florrisant.

Ronnie Gale Salts
Ronnie Gale Salts was born to the late Ralph Salts and Lillie Hayes on June 8, 1948 in Rolla. He passed away Friday, Dec. 3, 2004 in Washington State.
Ron was united in marriage to Marilyn Sickle on Sept. 9, 1967, in Washington, and unto this union, two children were born.
Ron is survived by wife Marilyn; son, Richard and wife Tami, and their six children; daughter, Tina and husband Chuck Duesler, and their three children, all of Washington State; mother, Lillie Salts; sisters, Kaye Salts, Fay and husband Jim Slawson, Mary and husband Ralph Hutchison, Reba and husband Darren Fryer, Joy and husband Dean Fryer; brothers, Lonnie and wife Goldie Salts, David and wife Cathy Salts, all of Rolla; brother, Alfred and wife Yvonne, of Sun City, Ariz.; brother Arch and wife Mary Salts, of Washington State; many nieces and nephews, as well as many other family members.
A memorial will be held on Monday, Dec. 6, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. in the Full Gospel Mission Church, located at 1090 State Route HH in Rolla.

Mamie E. Carlton
Mamie Eva Carlton, of Rolla, passed away Saturday, Dec. 4, 2004 at the Heritage Park Skilled Care Center at the age of 88.
She was born in Licking on Feb. 6, 1916 to the late James Elmer, and Melissa (Childress) Thomasson.
On June 2, 1932 she married Roy E. Carlton, who survives.
Mamie attended the Jerome Apostolic Pentecostal Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Roy David Carlton; four brothers and five sisters.
Her surviving family includes her husband of 72 years, Roy Carlton; four sons and daughters-in-law, James and Shirley Carlton, of Rolla, Ray and Lavonda Carlton, of St. Louis, Charles and Betty Carlton, of Dundee, Ill., and Donald and Norma Carlton, of Metropolis, Ill.; two daughters, Lillian Delisle, and husband Bill, of Cuba, and Juanita Crites, of Marion, Ill.; one brother, Lloyd Thomasson, of Okla.; 20 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and other extended family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, 2004 at the Null and Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service in Ozark Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Jerome Apostolic Pentecostal Church. All arrangements are under the direction of the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla.

Samuel DeWayne Teague, 1938-2002
Graveside services for Samuel DeWayne Teague, 63, of Lewisville, Texas, were held Friday, Feb. 8 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Lewisville, Texas.
Mr. Teague died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2002, in Taylor, Mich. He was born June 28, 1938, in Wewoka, Okla.
He was a pipeline inspector for Mustang Engineering. He worked in the pipeline industry much of his life and also had worked for an auto dealer and as a motel owner/operator. He was a Vietnam veteran, having served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion.
Mr. Teague is survived by his wife, Myrna; two sons, Phillip Inman and his wife, Ellen, of Lewisville, Texas, and Charles Smith and his wife, Angela, of Las Vegas, Nev.; five daughters, Jeanetta Calhoun, her son, Michael Henson, and her husband, Rodney Howard of Odessa, Texas, Mischelle Schmucker and her husband, Dan, of Gainesville, Nancy Mathis Bryant and her husband, Kenneth, of Wewoka, Okla., Dana Lee Proffit of Joplin and Shawnda Teague of Bossier City, La.; one sister, Shirley Tingwald of Wewoka, Okla.; two brothers-in-law, Roger Sanderson of Odessa, Texas, and Larry Sanderson and his wife, Linda, of Lewisville, Texas; mother-in-law, Jeanette Sanderson; three grandsons; two granddaughters; and many nieces and nephews.

Joe B. Johnson, 1935-2002
Joe B. Johnson, 66, of Rockford, Tenn., formerly of Bakersfield, died Monday, June 10 at Blount Memorial Hospital in Tennessee.
He was born Aug. 29, 1935, in Vidette, Ark., the son of Ralph and Cecil Johnson.
He enjoyed fishing.
Mr. Johnson is survived by one son, Darrell Johnson of Greeneville, Tenn.; two brothers, Guy Johnson of Belvidere, Ill., and Tony Johnson of Bakersfield; three sisters, Dortha Johnson, Peggy Jeffery and Sue Cockrum all of Bakersfield; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Gail and Ray Headrick of Walland, Tenn.; special friends, Daryl and Bea Johnston; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon; his parents; and one brother, Claud Johnson.
Services will be announced at a later date.

William Scott MacMillan, 1958-2002
Funeral services for William Scott MacMillan, 43, of Souder were held Wednesday, Feb. 20 at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Gainesville.
Mr. MacMillan died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2002, at University Hospital in Columbia. He was born July 10, 1958, in Detroit, Mich., the son of Warren Patrick and Shirley Ann (Jersen) MacMillan. He married Elizabeth Andrea Bradley April 14, 1994, in Gainesville.
He was a construction contractor and an active member of F.O.R.R. Local 37 and the Modified Motorcycle Association. He was also instrumental in organizing the annual Ozark County Toys for Tots bike run.
Mr. MacMillan is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; two daughters, Katharine Colleen MacMillan and Chelsea Ann MacMillan, both of Souder; his father, Warren Patrick MacMillan of Pompono Beach, Fla.; and three brothers, Michael Patrick MacMillan of Gainesville, Danny Patrick MacMillan of China, Mich., and Timothy James MacMillan of Goodells, Mich.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
