He was born in Greece.
Before retiring in 1991, he was a self-employed dental technician for 50 years.

PERSEPHONE MAMAKOS PATRELLIS, 86, of Davie, Fla., formerly of Paterson, died Saturday.
She was born in Greece.
She owned New System Luncheonette, Paterson.
She was a member of St. Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church, Paramus, where she served as president and secretary of the Ladies Philoptochos Society, Omonia, Daughters of Penelope, and Kali Parea.
Arrangements: Vander Plaat Colonial Home, Fair Lawn.

ANTHONY PILIPIE, 84, of Saddle Brook, formerly of Maywood, died Monday.
Before retiring, he was a supervisor for St. Joseph's Paper Co., South Hackensack.
An Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of Romaine Sinniger Post 3484, Veterans of Foreign Wars, in Saddle Brook.
He was a parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, Rochelle Park, where he was an usher and a member of the Holy Name Society.
Arrangements: Vander Plaat Memorial Home, Paramus.

MICHAEL RICCIARDI of Elmwood Park died Tuesday.
Before retiring in 1984, he was a bartender for Paterson Caterers, where he worked for 20 years.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.

DELORES ROMANO, 80, of Hamburg, formerly of Ridgefield Park, died Wednesday.
Arrangements: Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, Vernon.

OLIVIA DONATELLA SANTO, 9-month-old daughter of Kenneth and Patricia Santo of Ramsey, died Wednesday.
Arrangements: Becker Funeral Home, Westwood.

DAVIS LEE "D.L." SPATES, 57, of Hawthorne, Calif., formerly of Englewood, died Jan. 13.
He owned and operated Spates Maintenance Service, Los Angeles.
Previously, he was a sanitation engineer for the Englewood Department of Public Works, where he worked for 10 years.
He was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Englewood, and its men's club.
Arrangements: Nesbitt Funeral Home, Englewood.

ELEANOR LUCIA SPIOTTA, 71, of Guttenberg died Wednesday.
Arrangements: M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains.

HELEN WASILEWSKI SULLIVAN, 87, of Rochelle Park, formerly of Garfield, died Wednesday.
Before retiring in 1975, she was a laborer for Neviens Label Co., Clifton, where she worked for 10 years.
She was a parishioner of Most Holy Name R.C. Church, Garfield.
She was a former member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Social Club, both in Garfield.
She was a member of the Graphic Arts International Union and the AARP.
Arrangements: Wozniak Home for Funerals, Wallington.

JOHN J. TRACY, 82, of Fair Lawn died Tuesday.
Before retiring in 1980, he was a conductor for the New York City Transit Authority.
He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a parishioner of St. Catherine R.C. Church, Glen Rock.
Arrangements: Vander Plaat Colonial Home, Fair Lawn.

SHIRLEY A. MacGOLDRICK VALENTINE, 64, of Leonia, formerly of Fort Lee, died Monday.
Arrangements: Frank A. Patti & Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home, Fort Lee.

DOROTHY YOKE VAN DELDEN, 63, of Oakland died Wednesday.
Before retiring in 1993, she was a teacher at the Berkley School, West Paterson and New York.
She was a member of Ponds Reformed Church, Oakland, and its Women's Guild.
She was a 1975 graduate of William Paterson University, where she received her master's degree in English.
Arrangements: Oakland Memorial Home, Oakland.
