PATRICIA ANN KEENAN SCHWARZ, 65, of Long Branch died Oct. 10 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Red Bank, she lived in Sea Bright prior to moving to Long Branch three years ago. She was the retired owner and operator of Nannie’s Deli & Sub Shop, Long Branch, for 10 years, retiring in 1955. She was a member of the Sea Bright Fire Ladies, as well as an avid bingo player and traveler. She was predeceased by her twin brother, Rodney Keenan of Middletown. She is survived by three sons and one daughter-in-law, John and Vicky Schwarz of Long Branch; Fritz Schwarz of Honolulu, Hawaii; and Kirt Schwarz of North Bergen; three daughters and two sons-in-law, DeAnne and Geoffrey Nesbitt of Randolph, Colleen and Thomas Aleo of Reno, Nev., and Cheryl Schwarz of Highlands; her brother and sister-in-law, John and Joan Keenan Jr. of Eatontown; her sister, Marguerite Estelle of Deal; her sister-in-law, Mary Keenan of Middletown; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandson. A funeral liturgy was offered at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, Rumson, followed by interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.

MARGARET E. LALLI, 87, of Red Bank died Nov. 10 at Meridian Nursing and Rehabilitation, Red Bank. Born in Scranton, Pa., she had lived in Asbury Park before relocating to Red Bank more than 50 years ago. Mrs. Lalli was a homemaker. She was a communicant of St. James Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas J.; and a son, Thomas J. Lalli, both in 1998. Mrs. Lalli is survived by a daughter-in-law, Patricia M. Lalli of Monmouth Beach; a sister-in-law; and a niece. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. James Church, followed by interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.

WILLIAM J. ROSLOWSKI, 84, of Rumson died Nov. 30 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Newark, he lived there until moving to Rumson in 1963. He was employed by the N.J. Dept. of Transportation, Trenton, for several years, retiring in 1991. He was a communicant of Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, Rumson. He was predeceased by his wife, Doris J. Curry Roslowski in 1990; and his son, Michael Roslowski in 2000. He is survived by his daughter, Mary A. Roslowski of Rumson. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, Rumson. Interment was at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.

PATRICIA A. REIDY, 71, of Red Bank died Nov. 7 at home. Born in Jersey City, she lived in the Belford section of Middletown prior to moving to Red Bank four years ago. She was a data entry person for Prudential Insurance Co., Holmdel, for 15 years, retiring in 1995. She was a member of Adorers at the Adoration Chapel at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, New Monmouth section of Middletown. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Reidy in 1983. She is survived by her son, Patrick Reidy of Highlands; her sister, Blanche Schulz of Toms River; and her brother, Charles Lennon of Avon. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, New Monmouth. Burial was at Forest Green Park Cemetery, Morganville. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Department, Riverview Medical Center, 1 Riverview Plaza, Red Bank 07701.

CARMELO J. INFORTUNIO, 91, of Holmdel died Dec. 7 at Bayshore Health Care Center, Holmdel. Born in New York City, he lived in Middletown from 1977-99 and relocated to Holmdel two years ago. He was an electrician for Queens Transit, N.Y., for 32 years, retiring in 1973. He was a communicant of St. Catherine’s Roman Catholic Church, East Keansburg section of Middletown. He was predeceased by his wife, Carmela Fabio Infortunio in 1977. He is survived by his son, Salvatore Infortunio of Queens, N.Y.; his daughter, Sandy Cribbin of Red Bank; two sisters, Eleanor Santora of N.Y., and Rose Fabio of Woodbridge; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Catherine’s Roman Catholic Church, East Keansburg. Entombment was at Woodbridge Mausoleum.

WILLIAM C. CONNORS, 76, of Freehold died Nov. 23 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Hudson, N.Y., he lived in Middletown for 32 years before moving to Freehold two years ago. He was a national sales manager for the National Distillers & Chemical Corp., New York City, where he was employed for 36 years, retiring 13 years ago. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II, having served in the South Pacific from 1942 to 1946. He was a member of the U.S. Marine Raider Association; the U.S. Marine 6th Division Association; American Legion Post No. 168, Red Bank; a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 6712, Massachusetts; a life member of Disabled American Veterans; and a member of Cpl. Philip A. Reynolds Detachment Marine Corps League, Freehold. He was a member of the Beacon Hill Country Club, Atlantic Highlands; a past exalted ruler, Elks Lodge No. 233, Red Bank; a member of the Happy Days String Band; and a musician with Sal Michael’s Music Makers. He was also a part-time employee of Hominy Hill Golf Course, Colts Neck. He is survived by his wife, Alice; three sons and a daughter-in-law, James Connors of Boynton Beach, Fla., William and Lori Connors of Lakeworth, Fla., and William Mergner of Readers, Pa.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Jane and Eric Atherton of Middletown, and Maureen Stewart of Middletown; and two grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to Red Bank Elks No. 233, 40 W. Front St., Red Bank 07701.

JOHN C. BRAZAS, 54, of Middletown died Oct. 22 at Gateway Care Center, Eatontown, from complications of Pick’s disease. Born in Monmouth Beach, he lived there for 31 years prior to moving to Middletown. He was a licensed electrical contractor and the founder and president of John Brazas Inc. Prior to that he worked for the Ranney School, Tinton Falls. He was a communicant of the Church of The Precious Blood, Monmouth Beach. His civic activities included former chief and a life member of the Monmouth Beach Fire Department, a member of the Monmouth Beach First Aid Squad, and special police officer as well as the civil defense director of Monmouth Beach. He also restored old military vehicles rescued from swollen tides in Monmouth Beach, most notably the "Muck Duck." He was predeceased by his sister, Marie Malley in 1998. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Kathleen Healy Brazas of Middletown; his sister, Dorothea Pierce of Long Branch; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at The Church of The Precious Blood, Monmouth Beach. Memorial donations may be made to the Monmouth Beach Fire Department of the Monmouth Beach First Aid Squad.

JAMES J. "JIM" McEVOY, 72, of Middletown died Nov. 15 at home. Born in Newark, he lived in West Long Branch prior to moving to Middletown 23 years ago. He was a salesman for B&B Beverage, Long Branch, retiring in 1990. Prior to that he was a life insurance salesman and liability adjuster. He served with the U.S. Army in its counter intelligence corps during the Korean War. He was a former communicant as well as an usher and member of the Holy Name Society at St. Jerome’s Roman Catholic Church, West Long Branch. He was active at St. Jerome’s Grammar School, serving as a basketball coach, assistant baseball coach for its Little League team, and helping with Pop Warner football. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Patricia J. Mulvaney McEvoy of Middletown; three sons and two daughters-in-law, James J. and Sally L. McEvoy Jr. of Ocean Township, Kevin M. McEvoy of Long Branch, and Michael J. and Lorraine P. McEvoy of Rumson; his daughter, Mary Beth McEvoy of Long Branch; two stepsons; and seven grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. Interment was at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arnytown. Memorial donations may be made to VNA of Central N.J. Hospice, 141 Bodman Place, Red Bank 07701; or Elder Home Care, 108 Shrewsbury Ave., Suite B, Red Bank 07701.

RONALD A. BUCKALEW, 55, of West Long Branch died Nov. 5 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Born in Red Bank, he moved to Long Branch in 1976. He was the owner and operator of Circle Pizza, West Long Branch, until 1998. Prior to that he was the owner of Circle Pizza, Eatontown, from 1976-1992. He was predeceased by his wife, Brenda St. Germaine Buckalew; and his parents, George and Pauline Lucia Buckalew. He is survived by two brothers, George Buckalew of Middletown, and Robert Buckalew of South Amboy; a sister, Regina Perrine of Bricktown; and several nieces; nephews; and grandnieces and grandnephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. Interment was at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.
