RALPH P. CITTADINO, 73, of West Long Branch died July 2 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Born in Long Branch, he resided in West Branch the past 44 years. He was an associate vice president at Prudential Securities, Red Bank, for 20 years. Prior to that, he was proprietor of J.C. Manufacturing, Long Branch. He was a parishioner at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, West End section of Long Branch. He served on the West Long Branch Planning and Zoning Boards, and was ex-captain of the Independent Engine and Truck Company of the Long Branch Fire Department. He was a member of the West Long Branch Lion’s Club, and also coached Long Branch Little League and West Long Branch Babe Ruth Baseball. He is survived by his wife, Katherine Herbert Cittadino of West Long Branch; his son and daughter-in-law, Christopher M. and Rita Cittadino of the Wayside section of Ocean Township; two sisters, Mary Cittadino of Long Branch, and Vera Marino of West Long Branch; and four grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, West End. Memorial donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House, P.O. Box 3237, Long Branch 07740.

ARMAND R. ZAMBRANO, 83, of Long Branch, died July 1 at the Center for Hospice Care at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Born in Long Branch, he was a lifelong resident. He was employed at Foodtown, Atlantic Highlands, and Fine Far Supermarket, Long Branch. Prior to that, he worked as a produce supervisor at Acme Markets for 40 years. He was a parishioner at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. Active in the community, he was a 55-year member of the Atlantic Engine and Truck Company No. 2, Long Branch, where he served as secretary for 50 years. The Company honored him in March during its annual dinner, and the mayor and council also proclaimed the event Armand Zambrano Day in Long Branch. He was also a member of the Long Branch Exempt Firemen’s Association, the Long Branch Old Guard, and the Long Branch Firemen’s Relief Association. He was a 4th degree Knight with the Bishop McFauls Knights of Columbus Council No. 335, Long Branch, for 50 years. He was predeceased by three brothers, Anthony Zambrano, Patsy Zambrano and Paul Zambrano; and two sisters, Josephine Castello and Alma Fialk. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary DiSibio Zambrano of Long Branch; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Lu and Frank Pingitore of Oceanport, and JoAnne and Richard Collins of Neptune; his son, Armand R. Zambrano Jr. of Long Branch; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and his devoted caretaker. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. Interment was at Mount Carmel Cemetery, West Long Branch.

FRANK C. MINNISCH, 59, of Oceanport died July 2 in Franklin Township. Born in Long Branch, he resided in Oceanport the past 35 years. He was employed with the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local No. 9 for 40 years. He was a parishioner at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. He was a member of the Independent Engine and Truck Company of the Long Branch Fire Department, as well as a West Long Branch Pop Warner Football coach, and Little League coach in Oceanport. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was predeceased by his father, Frank M. Minnisch in 1980. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Foggia Minnisch of Oceanport; his son and daughter-in-law, Frank P. and Paula Minnisch of Long Branch; his daughter and son-in-law, Gina and Anthony Brando of West Long Branch; his mother, Marie Valente Minnisch; three grandchildren; two sisters-in-law; and one brother-in-law. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. Interment was at Mount Carmel Cemetery, West Long Branch. Memorial donations may be made to The Frank C. LORENZO ILARRAZA, 92, of Long Branch died July 6 at Gateway Care Center, Eatontown. Born in Puerto Rico, he was a resident of Long Branch for more than 20 years. He was a retired employee of the Sayreville golf course, where he worked for more than 30 years. He was a member of Spanish Assemblies of God Church, Long Branch. He is survived by his wife, Cristina Ilarraza of Long Branch; two sons, Ivan Ilarraza of Florida, and Cecelio Ilarraza of New Jersey; three daughters, Nancy Ilarraza of New York, Dolores Crespo of Red Bank, and Delia Johnson of Georgia; three brothers, Theodore Ilarraza of Red Bank, Jose Ilarraza of Puerto Rico, and Basilio Ilarraza of Neptune; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Interment was at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown.

MARY A. CONTE, 84, of Oceanport died June 30 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Born in Youngstown, Ohio, she lived in Long Branch before moving to Oceanport 57 years ago. She was co-owner of Conte’s Car Wash, Long Branch, where she worked for the past 40 years. She was also co-owner of four other local car washes, and previous owner of Conte’s Market, Long Branch. She was a parishioner of St. Dorothea’s Roman Catholic Church, Eatontown. She was predeceased by her son, Louis P. Conte Sr., on June 9; two sisters, Rose DeLuca and Antoinette Catalano; and a brother, Nicholas Cammarano. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Louis R. Conte of Oceanport; two sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph J. and Rosemary Conte of Oceanport, and Michael J. and Janice Conte of Long Branch; her daughter-in-law, Patricia S. Conte of Oceanport; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Dorothea’s Roman Catholic Church, Eatontown. Entombment was at Woodbine Mausoleum, Oceanport. Memorial donations may be made to the Oceanport First Aid Squad, 2 Pemberton Ave., Oceanport 07757.

CATHERINE "LENA" C. CAMPO MALETTO, 83, of Red Bank, died July 11 at home. Born in Pennsylvania, she lived in the Belford section of Middletown prior to moving to Red Bank in 1950. She was a cafeteria chef at Red Bank Primary School for several years, retiring in 1991. Prior to that, she was a homemaker and a seamstress at Eisner’s, Red Bank. She was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank, as well as a member of its St. Ann Society. Her activities included cooking, walking and gardening. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond J. Maletto Sr. in 1969; her sister, Carmella Rapolla; and a brother, Philip Campo Jr. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Catherine F. and Patrick Hughes of Red Bank; four sons and two daughters-in-law, Vincent R. Maletto of Hamilton Township, Raymond J. and Elizabeth Maletto Jr. of the River Plaza section of Middletown, Philip Maletto of Red Bank, and Peter and Maryann Maletto of Red Bank; her brother and sister-in-law, Anthony and Maria Campo of Belmar; her sister, Rose DeChicchio of River Plaza; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. Interment was at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Ann’s Society, St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 121 Bridge Ave., Red Bank 07701.

JOSEPH V. VALLILLO, 58, of Middletown died July 3 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Jersey City, he lived in North Bergen before moving to Middletown 25 years ago. He was a data processor at City Corporation, Weehawken, for three years. Prior to that, he worked for American Airlines, Sealand, and Revlon, all Edison. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his newborn granddaughter. He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Vallillo. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Patricia A. Pepe Vallillo of Middletown; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Joseph F. and Lenore Vallillo of Tinton Falls, Jeffrey V. Vallillo of New York City, and James J. and Jenifer Vallillo of Middletown; his sister and brother-in-law, Judith and Billy Thiel of Middletown; his mother, Elizabeth Ardito Vallillo of Middletown; two nephews; and several cousins. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Catherine’s Roman Catholic Church, Middletown. Entombment was at Fair View Mausoleum, Middletown.
