Tabone, Robert Joseph, 90, formerly of Jamestown, died Jan. 23, 2000 in California. He was born in Jamestown on Sept. 26, 1909, the son of Joseph and Gertrude Tabone. Surviving are two sons: Charles and James Tabone; and three sisters: Angeline Ricotta, Jennie Hall and Mary Miley. Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Schiedel, Robert William, 73, of Jefferson, Ohio, died Jan 30, 2000 in Ashtabula County Medical Center. He was born Feb. 10, 1926, the son of John and Frankie Joliffe Schiedel. Surviving are a son, William Schiedel; and a daughter, Barbara Wright. He was predeceased by his wife, Helen Brenkus Schiedel, two sons: Charles Harold and Robert W. Schiedel; seven sisters: Ida Mae and Betty Schiedel, Margaret Coy, Doris Sherman, Eleanor Waltari, Gertrude Faulkerson and Beatrice Slater; and a brother, Norman Schiedel. Burial was in Plymouth Township, Ohio.

Portman, Jean, 91, formerly of Westfield, died Jan. 29, 2000 in Ocala, FL. She was born Feb. 23, 1908, the daughter of Stephen and Ann Gratok Burdis. Surviving are two sons: John and Joseph Portman; and two daughters: Judy Harken and Joan Grant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Portman; and seven brothers and sisters. Burial was in Portland Evergreen Cemetery.

Wells, Claude E., 90, formerly of Cheney’s Point, died Jan. 20, 2000 in Orange Park, FL. He was born Sept. 6, 1909 in Holcomb, NY, the son of Leo and Lida Murray Wells. Surviving are his wife, May Aronson Wells, whom he married Jan. 30, 1937; a daughter, Claudine L. Holmes; and a sister, Elizabeth Bunnell. He was preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd Wells. Burial was in Sunset Hill Cemetery.

Washic, George, 78, of Warren, died Jan. 31, 2000 in Warren. He was born Aug. 4, 1921, the son of John and Helen Russin Washic. Surviving are his wife, Christine Bungo Washic; a son, Baron G. Washic; a daughter, Kathy Reynolds; and a sister, Christine Sanko. He was preceded in death by seven brothers: Alex, Andrew, Charles, John, Michael, Peter, and Steven; and five sisters: Anna, Catherine, Madaline, Mary and Susan. Burial was in the church Cemetery, Madera, PA.

Incitto, Vincent J., 72, of Dunkirk, died Jan. 21, 2000. He was born Nov. 12, 1927 in Fredonia, the son of Felix and Jennie Crise Incitto. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Margaret Snyder Incito; two sons: Vincent, Jr., and Keith Incitto; and a daughter, Susan Butts. Burial was in St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Fredonia.

Willink, Raymond L., 79, of Clymer, died Feb. 6, 2000 in his home. He was born Sept. 28, 1920, the son of Leigh and Addie Dunnewold Willink. Surviving are his wife, Doris Raymond Willink; a son, Norvel Willink; three daughters: Shirley Wilson, Charlene Kidder, and Connie Aikens; and two brothers: Gilbert and the Rev. Alvin Willink. Burial was in Holland Cemetery.

Olson, Rolf A., 74, of Erie, died Feb. 2, 2000. He was born in Jamestown, the son of Elinar and Hilma Olson. Surviving are his wife, Aldene G. Cross Olson; a son, Stuart A. Olson; and a daughter, Pamela Kochel. Burial was in Laurel Hill Cemetery, in Erie.

Roth, Helen H., 89, formerly of Wesleyville, PA., died Feb. 5, 2000 in the Ball Pavilion. She was born in Smethport, PA on May 4, 1910, the only daughter of Sanford and Emma Herzog Fry. Surviving are two daughters: Barbara Braley and Donna Sedelmyer; and a son, Howard Roth. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Hubert Roth. Burial was in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.

Morton, Roland, 83, of Ashville, died Feb. 5, 2000. He was born Jan. 13, 1917, the son of Allan and Ethel Ayling Morton. Surviving are two sons: Jon A. and William W. Morton; and a sister, Betty Piazza. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Herman Morton and a brother, Philip Morton. Burial was in Magnolia Cemetery.

Chili, Gustaf, 84, of Lake Mary, FL, died Feb. 4, 2000. He was born in Jamestown on July 1, 1915. Surviving are his wife, Wanda; two sons: Dr. David and Donald Chili; a daughter, Diane Zimmer; three sisters: Margaret Thomas, Ann Holmes, and Alfreda Sacco. He was preceded in death by his brother, James.

Klang, Linnea S., 88, formerly of Jamestown, died Feb. 4, 2000. She was the widow of Gust A. Klang who died in 1989. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Lorine Paxton; and three brothers: Ralph, Arthur, and Willard Rydell. Burial was in St. Petersburg, FL.

Brown, Harold F., 88, died Feb. 5, 2000. He was born Dec. 14, 1911 in Titusville, PA, a son of Arthur and Vera Wilson Brown. Surviving are his wife, Agnes Geary Brown; and a son Richard R. Brown. He was preceded in death by a brother, Wilson Brown; and a sister, Ruth Spencer Zdarko. Burial was in Titusville, PA.

Faulk, Marjorie B., 90, of Traverse City, MI, died Feb. 2, 2000. She was born Aug. 9, 1909, the daughter of Emil and Edith Carlson Bengtson. Surviving are a son, William Faulk, Jr.; and a sister, Nina Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Faulk; a daughter, Marilyn Spake; and a brother, George, in 1915. Burial was in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Jamestown.

Bogue, Dorothy C., 84, of Forestville, died Feb. 4, 2000 in South Dayton. She was born July 11, 1915 in Buffalo, daughter of Robert and Bertha Munsell Murphy. Surviving are three sons: Daryl, James and Thomas Clarke; and a sister, Edna Collins. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ivan E. Bogue; a sister, Mae Hopkins; a half-brother, James Reeb; and two half-sisters: Ruth White and Eldine Lauber.
