NORTH CHILI

*** Faulconbridge, Isabella “Stell”, July 19, 2010 at age 79. She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard. Survived by her sons, Bernie (Nancy), Ian; grandchildren, Melissa, Michael, Rebecca and their mother, Patty; great-granddaughter, Marissa; brother, Ron Mercer (and family); dearest friend, Dorothy Shannon and many other dear friends; as well as her neighbors that meant so much to her.

Private interment. Donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice in her memory.

*** Walsh, Robert P., July 21, 2010 at age 86. Predeceased by his brother, Richard; sister, Jean; son-in-law, John Skorupski; and daughter-in-law, Justine Walsh. Survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Marie; children, Patricia (Brandon) Watson, Michael (Debbie), Mary Ellen (Joseph) Martin, Robert (Deanna), Joanne Walsh (Jack Nelligan), William (Shalena) and Mark (Teri); 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, James (Jane); sister, Helen Redmond; and many nieces and nephews. Bob was a Navy Veteran of WWII and Korea, one of the founding fathers of St. Christopher’s Church and a member of the American Legion.

A Funeral Mass was said July 24 at St. Christopher’s Church, North Chili. Donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in his memory.

PARMA

*** White, Ronald J., July 14, 2010, age 50. Survived by his wife, Deborah (Carter) White; his children, Ronald (Kate Schiffhauer) and Alyssa (Joshua Swaney) White; grandson Ryan; his mother, Gail White; mother-in-law, Gladys Carter; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services were held July 19 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Interment, Parma Union Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Aurora House or Spencerport Youth Baseball in his memory.

SPENCERPORT

*** DiRisio, Giulio “Julius,” also of Port St. Lucie, Florida, died July 16, 2010. Survived by his wife, Michela “Mickey” (Trapani); children, Matthew (Lori), Lucy (Mike) Bonanno, Mark (Dawn), and Dean (Barb); grandchildren, Giuliana, Angela, Alyssa, Michael, Giulio, Dominic, Michele, Lucas, Giulio; sister, Filomena DeFillippo; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; nieces and nephews. He was a retiree of Delco.

Funeral Services were held July 21 at Lakeshore Community Church, Rochester. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

*** Ludwig, Robert P., July 7, 2010. Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Suzanne (Ruflin) Ludwig; children, Laurie (Michael) Gorton, Valerie (David) Ketchum, Robin (Jeffrey) Schoepfel, Sharon (Douglas) Lasch; grandchildren, Rachel, Brett, Daniel, Matthew (Shauna), Andrew, Joshua, Brian, Jessica and Nicholas. Robert was a decorated USMC veteran of the Korean War.

Funeral Services were held July 11 at Parma Baptist Church. Interment Parma Corners Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Parma Baptist Memorial Fund, 4997 Ridge Road West, Spencerport 14559 or the Spencerport Volunteer Ambulance, 116 Lyell Avenue, Spencerport or the Shepherd Home, 1959 Five Mile Line Road, Penfield 14526 in his memory.

*** Stettner, Ernest Richmond “Rich,” July 4, 2010 at the age of 83. Rich is survived by his wife Joan “Tiny” Stettner; children, Rodney (Patricia) Stettner, Pamela (John) Trenton, Kimberly (Thomas) Rodak, Timothy Forsyth; grandchildren, Clayton and Cortney Forsyth, Thomas and Whitney Rodak; great-granddaughter, McKenzie Forsyth; sister, Doris (Frank) Kilby; many nieces, nephews and special cousins, and many dear friends. He retired from Rochester Products after 35 years of service.

Funeral Services were held July 8 at Walker Brothers Funeral Home, Inc., Spencerport. Interment, Fairfield Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Al Sigl Center Development Office, 1000 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester 14620 in his memory.

ALBION

*** Updike, Elizabeth Jean (McCrea), On September 18, 2010 at the age of 93. Predeceased by her husbands Anthony Corona and Loren Updike and her brother Donald McCrea. She is survived by her nephews Rodney (Liz) McCrea, Jeffrey (Shawn) McCrea; niece Jacquelyn (Robert) Mosher; several grand and great grand nieces and nephews.

Interment will be private. Donations can be made to the Villages of Orleans Nursing Home, 14012 Route 31 West, Albion, NY 14411 in her memory.

BERGEN

*** Bentley, Robert H., Jr., died September 16 in Richmond, Virginia. Robert is survived by his four children, Teresa Schroder of Waterloo, James Boughton of Atlanta, Georgia; Robert Bentley III of Richmond, Virginia and Philip Bentley of Washington, DC; his sister Barbra Hall of Durango, Colorado; his step mother Virginia Bentley of Canandaigua; and four grandchildren Melissa, Genevieve, Alysia, and James.

Calling hours were held September 24 at H.E. Turner Funeral Home, Bergen.

BROCKPORT

*** Cardillo, Ruth E., age 81, died September 20, 2010 after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister Lorraine. She is survived by her brothers Richard (Shirley) of Olivet, Michigan and Arnold (Mary Lou) of Hilton; nieces Susan Nolen of Medina, Pennsylvania, Sandra (Jeffrey) Shifrin of Wilton, Connecticut, Cathy (Steven) Fitzner of Bellevue, Michigan and one nephew Richard (Deanne) Cardillo of Evergreen, Colorado. Also survived by nine great nieces and nephews and many cousins. Ruth was a veteran of the U. S. Naval Reserve, Yeoman First Class, earning both the Armed Forces Medal and the Navy Meritorious Medal during 26 years of service. She retired as the Industrial Relations Director for Owens Illinois Brockport after 25 years. She was a long standing member of the Zonta Club of Rochester where she was a recipient of the Heart Award for her dedication and services as well as a 40 years member of Professional Secretaries International’s Flower City Chapter. She has been recognized for Community Service with the City of Rochester’s Volunteerism Award and a Congressional Certificate of Appreciation.

A Memorial Service was held September 25 at the Fowler Funeral Home Inc., Brockport. Private interment. Contributions can be made to the Zonta Foundation Scholarship Fund, P. O. Box 10545, Rochester 14610 in her memory.

*** Christopher, Pamela C. “Pammie” (Preston), Age 66, died September 18, 2010. She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald of 46 years; three children, Brian (Elizabeth), Todd (Kay), Colleen Christopher; brother, Darryl Preston; four grandchildren, Marissa, Brendon, Michael and Nathan.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held September 24 at Holy Family Parish - St. Joseph’s Church, Albion. Interment, Mt. Albion Cemetery. Contributions can be made to MDA/ALS, 1425 Jefferson Road, Rochester 14623 in her memory.
