Andrew Yeransian of Albany, NY, formerly of Pearl River, NY, died Saturday, January 26, 2008 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, NY. He was 46.Andrew worked as a clerk for the New York State Department of Health. He was born October 27, 1961 in Nyack, NY to James and Frances Yeransian. He has lived in Albany, NY, for the past 26 years; before that he lived in Pearl River for 20 years.He is survived by his mother, Frances Yeransian of Pearl River, NY; two sisters Lucille Nassery and husband Allen and Elizabeth Yeransian; two brothers Peter and Bruce Yeransian; nephews Adam and Scott Nassery; niece Alia Nassery, all of Pearl River. He is predeceased by his father James.The funeral service will be held 10:30 AM, Friday at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Pearl River, NY. Burial will follow at Rockland Cemetery, Sparkill, NY. DIGIORGI, LOUISE (NEE PINGUE)
DiGiorgi, Louise (nee Pingue) died on Friday, January 25, 2008 in Lawrence Hospital at the age of 84. Louise was a long time resident of New Rochelle and Bronxville and wife of the late Dr. Francis DiGiorgi, D.D.S. She retired as Treasurer of Fordham Prep, was president of the Fordham Prep Mother's Club, and worked as an independent tax preparer and consultant. She is survived by 5 sons, their spouses, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, her sister and a large extended family and circle of friends. She will be missed by all who knew her. Esther A. "Pasqualina" Ferguson of Sparkhill formerly of Pearl River and the Arthur Avenue section of the Bronx, died January 24, 2008 with her family by her bedside. Born October 12, 1929 in the Bronx to Sabino and Anna Rivetti Mininni. Past president of Kingsbridge Little League Women's Auxiliary. Esther is survived by her husband of 58 years, Jack. Mother of Peggy and her husband Peter Derham, Jack and his wife Margaret and Janet and her husband Michael Kilkenny. Ester also leaves behind eight precious grandchildren; Brian, Matthew, Lauren and her husband Thomas, Danielle and her husband Frank, Barbara, Meghan, Tara, and Brianne. She cherished her family more than life. Predeceased by her siblings Prudence, Mary, Rose, Terry, Sonny, Freddy and Vito. GIORGIO, PHILIP
Philip Giorgio, a longtime resident of New Rochelle, died on January 25, 2008. He was 84. Mr. Giorgio was born in Italy on May 14, 1923 to the late Benedetto and Pasqualina Giorgio. On June 12, 1949 he married Margaret Racanello. She died on December 1, 2007. Before his retirement he worked as a landscaper for many years. Mr. Giorgio is survived by six children Patricia DeSalvo (Les), Elaine Bretts (Bobby), Philip Giorgio (Maura), Richard Giorgio (Karen), Margaret Grutteria (Jerry) and Michael Giorgio (Jean); 12 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Joann Antonelli and Mary Keresey. He is pre-deceased by a brother, Ray Giorgio. Visiting Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Pl, New Rochelle. Mass Wednesday 10am at St. Joseph's Church. GLORIOSO, ANTHONY J.
Anthony J. Glorioso passed away on January 24, 2008. He was born in the Bronx on January 31, 1943 to Pasquale and Theresa (Garabo) Glorioso. He has been a resident of Rockland County since 1978. Anthony enjoyed his work at the Village of Nyack Water Department where he has been the Assistant Superintendent for the last 28 years. He was an avid NY Ranger fan and will be remembered for his love of family. Anthony is survived by his wife Beatrice of 43 years and their children Gina, Anthony and Karen. He will be missed dearly by his grandchildren Anthony and Nicole. Also surviving is his mother Theresa and sister Rosemarie Passarelli of Beacon NY. Family will receive friends on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Higgins Funeral Home, New City, NY. Susan "Sue" Holweck, 54, of Winter Springs, FL, and formerly of Rockland, passed away January 21, 2008. Sue was born February 22, 1953 in Rosedale, NY, to Joseph and Marion (Bubenik) Holt. Sue is survived by her husband of 33 years, Ralph, sons, Jason (Jennifer) Holweck of Jacobus, PA, Brian Holweck of Winter Springs; daughter, Renee Holweck of Winter Springs; sisters, Joann Cohen of Tarrytown, Mary Holt of Stamford, CT and Janet Wyland of Stratford, NJ, and her grandson Justin Holweck. Visitation will be at COFFEY FUNERAL HOME on Sunday (today) from 7-9 PM. Her Funeral Mass will be Monday at Immaculate Conception Church, Sleepy Hollow at 10:00. KAYE, CRAIG M.
Craig M. Kaye passed away on January 24, 2008 at his home in Lake Worth, Florida. He was 63 years old. He was born in Brooklyn November 19, 1944 to Allan and Selma Kaye. He served in the Army in Germany. He raised his three children in Thiells, New York, before moving to Florida where he remarried in June 2007. He took great pleasure in entertaining at his lake home where all his beautiful gardening is displayed. He thoroughly enjoyed camping, traveling and motorcycling. He is survived by his wife Sandra, three children Ian, Alicia and Shawn, daughter-in-law Nicole, stepdaughter Lisa and husband John and three grandchildren Rian, Kayla, and Jackson. As well as many many wonderful friends. The funeral will be held Sunday January 27, 2008 at 12:30 PM at New Montefiore Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY. Friends can visit on Monday January 28, 2008 from 12-8 PM at 1 Belmont Court, Goshen, NY.
