NAPOLITANO, PALMA

Palma Napolitano, 88, of Eastchester, died on January 15, 2007. Beloved wife of Rev. Nicholas Napolitano. Loving mother of Francis and his wife Mary, Daniel and his wife Grace, Esther and her husband Geoffrey Cochrane, Timothy and his wife Joy, Michael and his wife Patrice, and the late Alfred. Dear mother-in-law of Olivia. Cherished grandmother of 16 and great grandmother of 22. Sister of Lucy Rovetto, Fannie Fiorello, and the late Carmela Fiorello, Josephine Fonde, and Samuel Abbate. During the sixty-five years that her husband has served as pastor, Palma was not only a loving mother to her own children, she was a spiritual mother to the entire church family. She lived a sacrificial life, full of compassion and tenderness for others, especially children. Palma never called attention to herself. She complimented and supported her husband's pastoral ministry with grace and devotion to God. The family will receive friends at the CHRISTIAN APOSTOLIC CHURCH, 44 Hall Ave., Eastchester, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral Service at the church on Saturday, January 20 at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Kensico Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to the Christian Apostolic Church, 44 Hall Ave., Eastchester, NY 10709 in memory of Palma Napolitano.

NARDOZZI, GRACE HELEN

Grace Helen Nardozzi, formerly of New Rochelle, died January 11, 2007 in Ohio where she had been living. She was 97. Born July 2, 1909 to Enrico and Bettina Angelo. Grace was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Holy Family Church and the New Rochelle Republican Club. She also volunteered her time at St. Agnes Home for Children. A devoted homemaker, Grace was the beloved wife of the late Dominick Nardozzi. Survived by her loving children, Frank Nardozzi and Bettina Rosica (husband Gabriel). Also survived by ten grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, two nieces and one nephew. She is predeceased by her daughter, Carol N. McGuire, and brothers, Ernest, Thomas and Joseph Angelo. Visitation Friday EVENING 7 to 9 PM, COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Rd., Mamaroneck, (914) 698-5968. Funeral Mass Saturday 9:30 AM Holy Family RC Church in New Rochelle, followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

MUTKE, ROSE E. (HEIMBAUER)

Rose E. Mutke (nee Heimbauer), 85, of Stony Point, formerly of Freehold, NY, on January 15, 2007 at Nyack Hospital. Rose was born August 22, 1921 in Brooklyn, NY. She was predeceased by her husband Edwin G. Mutke on May 22, 2004. She is survived by her loving daughter Joanne Albert, son-in-law Keith R. Albert and grandson Gregory K. Albert all of Stony Point. Rose is also survived by her sister Joan Ockovic of Lake Ronkonkoma and several nieces and nephews. Visiting at Higgins Funeral Home, Route 9W, Stony Point, NY on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Religious services will be held on Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at Greenville Cemetery on Friday, January 19 at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made to the St. Jude's Hospital for Children. O'DWYER, BRO. THOMAS P.

Bro. Thomas P. O'Dwyer C.F.C., a longtime resident of New Rochelle, died on January 13, 2007. He was 98. Bro. O'Dwyer was born on August 21, 1908 in Thuries, Co. Tipperary, Ireland to the late John and Johanne (Ryan) O'Dwyer. He attended Elementary and High School in Ireland and then came to the United States and attended Fordham University where he received his Masters in History. Prior to coming to New Rochelle, he taught at St. John's in Newfoundland, Canada and Power Memorial Academy in NYC. He came to New Rochelle 53 years ago, where he taught at Blessed Sacrament High School and later Blessed Sacrament High School-St. Gabriel High School until a year ago. In addition to his parents, Bro. O'Dwyer was predeceased by a brother Michael and a sister Nora. Visiting hours will be Tuesday 7 to 9 PM and Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel Inc., 16 Shea Place, New Rochelle, NY. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Thursday 9:30 AM at Blessed Sacrament Church. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, West Park, NY.

LOVE, CORNELIUS "BILL"

Cornelius "Bill" Love, of Ossining, New York, made his transition at Rosary Hill Home on the evening of January 13, 2007 following a brief illness. Cornelius was born March 10, 1933 in Johnson City, Tennessee to the late Mary Willie Love and J.D. Hunter. Cornelius was educated in the Johnson City school system. He served as a correction officer at the Ossining Correctional Facility, where he retired in 1986. Cornelius leaves to mourn his beloved wife, Emma Jean Love (nee Murphy), three daughters; Judith Harris, Sharon Love and Constance Love, all of Ossining, New York. One loving granddaughter, Devon Love Harris-Moore (George), Croton-on-Hudson, and several nieces, nephews and friends. Cornelius is predeceased by both his parents and his sister, Betty Lou Hall. Family will receive friends Thursday, January 18, 2007 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., at St. Matthews U.M. Church, 50 North Malcolm Street, Ossining, NY. Funeral services Friday, January 19 at 11:00 a.m.

MCNAIR, MARTHA JANE BLOUNT

Martha Jane Blount McNair, beloved mother of Jeanette McNair, Delories Strickland and Joyce Kelly, slipped into eternal rest on January 15, 2007. Friends may gather today (Wednesday) from 6 to 9 PM at CAMELOT FUNERAL HOME, INC. Final services in Plymouth, NC.

MORAN, JEANNE M.

Jeanne M. Moran, a 30 year resident of White Plains, passed away January 15, 2007, after a 3-1/2 year battle with breast cancer. She was 57 years old. Born October 12, 1949 in Bronx, NY, Jeannie was the loving wife of Kevin Moran and devoted mom of Caroline (Carlee), Justin and Rory Moran. She is also survived by her mother, Mary O'Hanlon and brother, Thomas O'Hanlon and his wife Noreen, and their children, Thomas, Katie and James. Her father, Edward J. O'Hanlon predeceased her. Jeannie graduated from Mercy College in 1972 with a degree in Education, but the next 17 years were devoted to having a family and raising her children. She then returned to school and earned an M.A. in Education from Manhattanville College. Jeanne was a dedicated enthusiastic elementary school teacher who taught at St. Eugene's Elementary School in Yonkers, NY. Her dedication continued until her illness prevented her from teaching this past September. Before teaching at St. Eugene's, she held teaching positions in the White Plains Public Schools and at Holy Rosary Elementary School in Hawthorne, NY. Her dedication to her family included volunteering for her children's school activities, community recreational sports and parish events. Jeannie will always be remembered as an avid reader, lover of literature and eloquent writer. Nothing made Jeannie happier than sharing good times at the shore with her loved ones. Visitation will be Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home. Funeral Mass Friday, 11:00 AM at St. Bernard's Church, White Plains, NY. Born to Froilan and Inez Gonzalez Carattini in Aibonito, PR. Ana was a retired seamstress for various firms in NYC. Beloved wife of the late Otilio. Loving mother of Raphael Cruz, Louis (Helen) Cruz, Elsie Greenspan, Marie (Alvaro) Poggiogalle, and the late Iris Nussa. Dear sister of the late Angelina Aponte and Ramon Carattini.
