Grubert, Allen M. of Bedford and formerly of Pleasantville died September 11, 2007. He was 62.
Mr. Grubert was born in Flushing, NY on April 29, 1945 the son of Alfred O. and Lenore (Martin) Grubert.
Allen was a retired IBM employee, working in White Plains before his retirement.
He is survived by his wife Owenita A. (Schumacher), and his children, Christopher M. and Elizabeth L. Grubert.
Visiting hours Friday 5-7 PM at Beecher Funeral Home, Pleasantville where funeral services will be held Friday 7PM.
Interment will be in Batesville, Indiana
In lieu of flowers donations in his memory to Rosary Hill Home, 600 Linda Ave., Hawthorne, NY 10532 would be appreciated.

Haftel, Moses, R. on May 21, 2008 at the age of 89. A decorated WW II Officer. Loving husband of the late Naomi. Beloved father of Pamela Sheff (Ronald), Linda Taylor (Steven) and Richard Haftel (Karen). Loving grandfather of Jennifer, John, Allison, Jared and Julia. Service today at Temple Beth El of Northern Westchester at 10 AM.

Handler Honey, 80, died on May 12th. Beloved wife of Leonard Handler, devoted mother of Harriet Handler, Toby Silberstein and Irene Grant. Cherished grandmother of 5. Her memory will live in all of us.

Rosina Dagostino
Rosina Dagostino of Mt. Vernon passed away February 9, 2010. Rosina was born in Calabria Italy on November 12, 1915 to Antonio and Maria Scalzo. She married Luigi Scalise in Italy who died in World War II. In 1967 Rosina came to the United States. She worked for Kulka Electronics and retired in 1975. In 1982 she married Thomas Dagostino. She is survived by her son Gaspare Scalise (Alba) two grandchildren Pier L Scalise, Carla Scalise and six great grandchildren. Rosina was predeceased by her husband Thomas in 1986.

Hannigan James P., formerly of Tuckahoe, died June 30, 2008. Devoted husband of the late Patricia Hannigan
(d. July 3, 2000). Loving father of Maureen McElligott, James Dennis, Kathleen O’Connor and Nancy Huvane. Also survived by seven grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. Proudly served in U.S. Navy during WWII. The family will receives friends at the Beecher Funeral Home, Inc. in Pleasantville on Wednesday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Thursday at Holy Rosary R.C. Church, Hawthorne, NY. Burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Harris, Jeanne of Hawthorne and Amagansett, NY passed away on March 22 after a long battle with lung cancer. She is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren and brother.
After over twenty years as a career counselor at Mercy College, Jeanne pursued her lifelong dream in fine art. She became a successful painter specializing in oils of the east end of Long Island.
The family will receive friends at the Beecher Funeral Home, Inc. in Pleasantville on Sunday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 10 AM at the Beecher Funeral Home.

Hart, Joan of Chappaqua, NY died at home September 5, 2007, she was 79.
Joan was born in Trenton, NJ, on September 29, 1927 the daughter of John and Catherine (Havercorn) McKee.
She married Edward J. Hart in Trenton, NJ on October 21, 1950.
Joan has been a resident of Chappaqua since 1966 where she was very active in the community. She was a leader in the local Democratic Party, a Union activist, a supporter of The Northern Westchester Shelter, Inc., active in Chappaqua Swim & Tennis Club, Volunteered at Northern Westchester Hospital. She was a long time active parishioner of the Church of St. John & St. Mary, where she worked in their Outreach Program.
She worked for 25 years as a secretary at Roaring Brook School in Chappaqua.
Joan is survived by her wonderful husband Edward of Chappaqua, Her devoted children, Roxanne (Philip Casnoff) Hart of Los Angels, CA, Tim (Cathy), Nancy (James) Sherrard, of Baldenboro, NC, Christopher (Peggy) Hart of Wolfeboro, NH, and Barbara (Joseph Slakas) Hart of Croton-on-Hudson, NY, Her loving brother James McKee and her adoring Grandchildren, Shannon, Daniel, Catherine, Marly, Alex, Mollie, Macklin, Sam, Ian and Bridget. Her brothers Jack and Bill McKee predeceased her.
Visiting hours Friday (today) 4-8 PM at Beecher Funeral Home, Pleasantville. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday 10 AM, Upper Church, St. John & St. Mary, Chappaqua, NY. Burial Fair Ridge Cemetery, Chappaqua.

Healy, Austin P. – of Chappaqua, NY, passed away on March 16th at the age of 80. He was the devoted husband of the late Ann Healy, and beloved father of Bitsy Maraynes (Allan), Austin Healy and Elizabeth Healy. He was loving grandfather of Sean, Megan and Matthew Maraynes. He will be missed by all who knew him. The family will receive friends at the Beecher Funeral Home, Inc. in Pleasantville, NY on Wednesday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM. The Funeral Service will be held at Beecher Funeral Home on Thursday at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Fair Ridge Cemetery in Chappaqua.

Henken, Lucille May, 81 of Pleasantville, NY passed away on 10/24/06. Mrs. Henken was a lifetime resident of the Mt. Pleasant area. She was born in Union City, NJ on 12/23//24 to George and Sarah Love. She attended Pleasantville Schools and was a crossing guard for the Mt. Pleasant / Pleasantville School District for 25 years.
Mrs. Henken married Julius Patrick Henken in 1946. He predeceased her in 2001. Mrs. Henken is survived by her two brothers George and Bertram and her sister Gloria Peifer. She is also survived by her son Donald of Pleasantville, her daughters Robin Ryan of Westwood, NJ, and Peggy of Upper Grandview, NY. Also 3 grandchildren Jason Henken, Heather Jagemann and Bridget Ryan, 2 great grandchildren Ashley and Samantha and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday Oct. 26th from 7 – 9 PM at the Beecher Funeral Home, Inc., Pleasantville. Funeral Services Friday 10 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
