Gallagher, Augustine M. of Chappaqua passed away on August 4, 2007. He was 79 years old.
Mr. Gallagher was born Dec. 27, 1927 and is a native of Mountjoy, Omagh, Co. Tyrone, N. Ireland.
He is survived by his brother Hugh Gallagher and his loving nieces James and Martin Gallagher, Margaret Cuzzi and Patricia Sullivan and their families. His sister Rose and brothers Oliver, Gerald, Terrence and Patrick Gallagher predecease him.
Visitation will be private for the family at Beecher Funeral Home, Pleasantville, NY. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tues. 11am at St. John & St. Mary R.C. (lower) Church, Chappaqua. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne.

Galgano, George W. Sr., of Pleasantville, died April 26th, 2008. He was 67. Mr. Galgano was born in New Rochelle, NY on May 8, 1940 to the late Daniel B. & Emma (Lowe) Galgano. He was a graduate of the Peekskill Military Academy and attended Pace University. On August 26, 1969 George married Barbara Ford in Baltimore, MD. Mr. Galgano had retired as a self-employed investor and was an active member of the Alpaca Association. George enjoyed traveling, gardening and on-line poker. He is survived by his sons Daniel of South Salem, NY, George, Jr. of Pound Ridge, NY, his sister Marcia Napolitano of Toms River, NJ and his grandchildren Daniel & Emma. His wife Barbara predeceased him. Visitation will be Tues. & Wed. 2-4 & 7-9pm at Beecher Funeral Home, Pleasantville. Mass of Christian burial will be Thurs. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery where his burial will follow. In lieu of flowers donations in his name to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, PO Box 27106, New York, NY 10087-7106 or www.mskcc.org would be appreciated.

Gallic, Samuel L. passed away on July 10, 2007 at the age of 79. Samuel was the devoted husband of Renee (nee Kervran). He was a loving father of Didier Gallic and Genevieve Holland. He was also the proud grandfather of Dillon, Jean Luc, Brianna Gallic and Samuel and Aimee Holland.
Born in Brittany, France, he is survived by 4 siblings and other family members residing there. Sam was a waiter for Westchester area French Restaurants for 40 years. The family will receives friends at the Beecher Funeral Home, Inc. in Pleasantville on Thursday from 7 – 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Pompeii Church on Friday at 10 AM. Interment to follow at All Souls Cemetery in Pleasantville.

Gross, Joan (nee Maher), 78, died peacefully after a long illness on Wednesday, July 09, 2008. Joan is survived by her husband of 53 years, H. John Gross; her children Rosemary, Maureen and Brian; her 8 grandchildren; her devoted sister and brother, Eileen and Raymond, Jr.; and her large, loving family. She was predeceased by her son, Michael. Family will receive visitors at Beecher Funeral Home, Pleasantville, NY on Friday, July, 11th from 2-4 and 7-9. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Innocents RC Church in Pleasantville on Saturday, July 12th at 10:00 AM. Burial will immediately follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to the American Stroke Association.

Gibbons, Patricia Downey 72, passed away at home on October 14th, 2007 after a long and valiant battle with cancer. Born to James & Edna Downey, Patricia is predeceased by her brother James Downey, Jr., and survived by her brother Archibald Downey and her sister Maureen McGrath.
Wife to Chadwick Gibbons. Beloved mother to Diane & Gregory. Grandmother to Chadwick & Asher & cherished aunt of Dawn.
Loved wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, mother-in-law, cousin & friend… We will miss you.
The family will receive friends at the Beecher Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday October 17th from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday October 18th at 10 AM at Holy Innocents R.C. Church in Pleasantville.

Gillen, Martha M. of Yorktown Heights and formerly of Inwood, N.Y.C. passed away on January 7, 2007. Martha was predeceased by her beloved husband Lawrence in 1977 her loving sister Eileen Dillon in 2006. Martha was a loving mother to Thomas and John and a loving mother in law to John’s wife Cheryl. She is also survived by her adoring granddaughter Kelsea. The family will receive friends at the Beecher Funeral Home, Inc., Pleasantville on Wednesday from 7 – 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery with burial to follow.

Mary M. Bochow
Mary M. Bochow, 89, passed away on February 6, 2010. Predeceased by her husband Dr. George Bochow and her son George Jr. Survived by her 5 children Beryl(Norman) Hay, Alyson (Gary) Cohen, Michel (Peter Francese) Bochow, Brian (Donna), and Gregory. Also survived by 9 cherished grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered by all who knew her for her kindness and selflessness.

Greason, Mary-Louise of Yorktown Heights passed away at Rosary Hill Home in Hawthorne on Sunday, December 17th, 2006.
Born Mary-Louise Fallon on March 12th, 1943, MaryLou attended Rye High School and Catherine Gibbs in New York City. She married Arthur Greason on February 8th, 1969.
In addition to her husband, MaryLou is survived by her brother, Roy Fallon, of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and many loving nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
A private memorial service will be held on a date to be determined.
Contributions in memory of MaryLou may be made to Rosary Hill Home, 600 Linda Avenue, Hawthorne, N.Y. 10532.

Groll, Katherine of Pleasantville passed away on 11/24/2007 at the age of 103. Katherine was a proud member of the American Legion Post 1009.
Katherine is survived by her 2 loving daughters, Muriel Santomarco of Webster, NY and Joy Linnartz of Pleasantville. She is also the adored grandmother of 4 grandchildren, Donna Conticelli, John & Robert Linnartz and Michele Gonzalez and 5 loving great grandchildren Dawn, Debra, Michael, Olivia and Jack. Janet Gustafson, a niece also survives Katherine.
The family will receive friends at the Beecher Funeral Home in Pleasantville on Monday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 AM at St. John & St. Mary R.C. Church (Upper Church) in Chappaqua. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY.
