Pasquale, Joann L. died unexpectedly on September 11th while traveling in Colorado.
She was born in Kansas City, Missouri on September 14th, 1931 to Ona and Eric Legant.
After attaining her BS degree in Foods and Nutrition at Kansas State University, she completed a Dietetic Internship at Grasslands Hospital in Valhalla, NY.
Following this, she attained her MS degree in Nutrition at Columbia University.
Joann was a Registered Dietician and an educator.
Upon completion of her Dietetic Internship, she joined the staff at Grasslands in the Department of Dietetics and held both clinical and administrative positions.
Joann was a professor at Marymount College, Tarrytown, having attained the rank of Associate Professor in Food Science and Nutrition.
Joann was a member of the American Dietetic Association and several related organizations.
She was a professional consultant in her field.
Consistent with her love for gardening, Joann was a member of the Pleasantville Garden Club.
She had an intense interest in cooking and was considered a gourmet by her family and friends.
Joann is survived by her husband Vito, her son Eric, and daughter-in-law Kimberly.
She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Gabriella and Mason, who were the jewels of her life.
In addition, she is survived by her sister Diane (Scott) Cast and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother Gerald Legant and sister Carol DiZinno.
The family will receive friends at the Beecher Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday from 5 – 9 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Innocents R.C. Church, Monday at 10 AM.
Followed by internment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Pawlowski Jeannette of Pleasantville, N.Y., beloved wife of Leo and loving mother of Jennifer, Mark and his wife Anne-Sophie, passed away at the age of 73 on October 28, 2006. Her bright smile and loving personality will be greatly missed by all.
Friends may visit Mon 4-8pm at Beecher Funeral Home, Pleasantville.
Her funeral service will be held Tues. 11am at Emanuel Lutheran Church, Pleasantville.
Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park, Putnam Valley, NY.

Pawlowski, Leo John - a Pleasantville resident for over 40, years passed away April 21, 2008 at age 80.
Leo was born on January 30th, 1928, in Astoria, Queens, NY. He served in the US Navy and was honorably discharged.
He later became a NYC Police Officer for 20 years before working at Rockefeller Estate, then PepsiCo Inc. where he retired after 20 years of service.
He was married to the love of his Life, Jeannette, for 51 years.
Leo was a wonderful, caring and dedicated husband and father.
Everyone who met Leo was caught up in his great sense of humor.
He could always bring out the positive and make you smile no matter what the situation.
Leo will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Surviving Leo are his brother Ted, his sister Lillian, his children Jennifer and Mark and his daughter-in-law Anne-Sophie.
Friends may visit on Thursday, April 24th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. at Beecher Funeral Home, 418 Bedford Road, Pleasantville, N.Y. 10570. Funeral Services will be held at the Emanuel Lutheran Church 197 Manville Road, Pleasantville, N.Y. 10570 at 10 a.m. on Friday April 25th. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park, Putnam Valley, NY.

Perez–Olivo, Peggy Hall of Chappaqua passed away on 11/19/2006.
She was a teaching assistant at Douglas Grafflin Elementary School in Chappaqua.
She is survived by her husband Carlos.
Peggy was the devoted mother to her 3 children Carlitos Perez – Hall, Merced Perez – Hall and Alysia Perez – Hall.
A Memorial Gathering will be on Sunday from 2 – 4 PM only at Beecher Funeral Home, Inc. in Pleasantville.

Pintchman, Charles, husband to Mickey Pintchman for 51 years; Dad to Marcia, Lisa and Tracy; Chuck to Ken, Bill and Jay; Poppa to Jessica, Travis, Geoffrey, Molly and Noah; snoozing partner to Sadie and Buddha.
He took his final curtain call on January 21, 2007, shortly before his 77th birthday. We will all miss him.
A memorial service will be held on February 4th at 1:15pm at Temple Beth El in Chappaqua, NY.
In lieu of flowers, feel free to donate liberally and widely as he did to Save the Children, Westchester SPCA, Savedarfur.org and/or Partnership for the Homeless.

TORRE, DONALD R.
Donald R. Torre of Yonkers, NY passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2009, after a long illness.
Married to the Lillian Marranzino on May 9, 1954, she predeceased him on October 21, 2007.
He is survived by his son Frank Torre, daughters Donna Torre and Diane Torre, daughter-in-law Michelle Torre, grandchildren Kristin Torre, Donald Torre and Lauren Torre, his brothers Frank Torre, Jr., Robert Torre, and Albert Torre, and his sister Marie Della Sorte. Donald Torre was a co-owner of Torre Builders Supply Company in Yonkers, NY, which was started by his father Frank Torre, Sr., 70 years ago.
He was born and raised in Yonkers and worked at the family owned business for over 60 years.
He was a resident of Dobbs Ferry and most recently lived Boca Raton, FL.
Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Ave., today from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM with a Funeral Mass at St. John the Baptist Church to follow at 1 PM. Entombment Rosewood Mausoleum at Ferncliff Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Cancer Society preferred.

TRULLI, VINCENT SR.

Vincent Trulli, Sr., a life-long resident of New Rochelle, passed away Tuesday April 14, 2009 at age 76. He was born December 19, 1932 to Carmine and Angelina Trulli. On October 17, 1954, he married his childhood sweetheart Carmela Sperano at St. Joseph's Church in New Rochelle. Vincent, Sr. spent most of his wonderful life side by side with his son Vincent, Jr. at Trulli's Printing Co. in New Rochelle. He was a demolition expert who fought in the Korean War, where he spent eight months at the Battle on Pork Chop Hill. His joy in life was spending time with his family and playing golf with his friends. In addition to being a loving husband, he was a devoted father to son Vincent Trulli, Jr. and wife Yasmin, daughter Sally Ann and husband Dominick Lagana. Vincent Sr. had four loving grandchildren Tiffany and husband Vincent Briganti, Vanessa and Christopher. The joy of his heart was his great granddaughter, Ava Briganti. He also leaves behind sister-in-laws Mary Trulli, Annette Miceli, and brother-in-laws John Miceli and Anthony LaMagna. He was also a cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews. As a family, our laughs have been many and tears have been few. Our hearts are filled with beautiful memories of our loving husband and father. Visitation Thurs day and Friday 2-4 and 79pm at COXE & GRAZIA NO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Rd, Mamaroneck 914-698-5968. Funeral Mass Saturday 9:30am at Holy Name Church in New Rochelle, followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
