VANCA, MARIE A.
Marie A. Vanca age 87 of Port St. Lucie, Florida, formerly of Cold Spring, NY passed away on April 14, 2009. Mrs. Vanca was a Seamstress for Nan Flower in Peekskill, NY until her retirement in the mid 1980's. Marie was born on January 10, 1922 in Peekskill to Carmine and Consiglia Caputi Marallo. On March 15, 1952 on the Army Base in Fort Jackson, SC, she married Peter Vanca. Later on April 30, 1952, they were married at the Assumption Church in Peekskill. Mrs. Vanca was a member of the Peekskill Senior Citizen's, the North Highland Ladies Auxiliary and often volunteered to drive other Senior Citizens to Doctor Appointments and delivered meals to them when needed. Marie also worked for the Board of Elections in Philipstown for over fifteen years. She is survived by her daughter Carole Vanca of Port St. Lucie, FL, a sister Priscilla Picarello of Peekskill, and three brothers; Gerald Marallo of Port Charlotte, FL, Edward Marallo of Cottonwood, AZ and Joseph Marallo of Mahopac. Predeceased by her husband, Peter Vanca, a sister, Florence Serino, and two brothers, Ralph and John Marallo. Visitation is Friday, 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the JOSEPH F. Millie Alessio (nee Lener) 95, of Sparkill passed away at home on Saturday, March 14, 2009. Predeceased by her beloved husband John J. Alessio and her two sons, John V. and Robert. Dear mother-in-law of Violetta Alessio of Tappan and Heidi Alessio of Hackettstown, NJ. Cherished grandmother of John R. Alessio of Tappan, Linda and Bill Wynne of Pomona, and Susan and Kevin McGivney of Tappan. Adored great grandmother of Johnny, Brittany, Kimberly, Michael, Kiera, Kaylie, Conner, Matthew and Thomas. Ann Maher Conway passed away on Friday Mar. 13, 2009.
She is survived by her loving husband, three children and three grandchildren.
Ann worked as a Teachers Aide at Bardonia Elementary School for many years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am in St. Augustine's Church, Main Street, New City.
Interment will be in Frederick Loescher Veterans Cemetery.

HATZMANN, ALFRED J.
Alfred Hatzmann of Ossining, NY died peacefully at home on Sept. 12, 2015 at the age of 92. He was born May 2, 1923 in Tarrytown, NY to Alfred & Rose (Kacian) Hatzmann. Alfred graduated from Ossining High School in 1941. He served as a Staff Sergeant in the US Marine Corps during WWII in the Pacific Theater in the Air Squadron VMB 423 from 1942 - 1945. He was awarded the Navy & Marine Corps Medal for Heroism. Alfred married Marjorie Harbort on July 10, 1948. After the war, Alfred graduated from Pace University and worked as a Tax Accountant for the New York Central Railroad. After leaving the railroad, he owned and operated his own Landscape Company for over 30 years.
Alfred was a founding member of Torview Swim Club.
He enjoyed watching golf, gardening, attending his grandchildren’s baseball and basketball games and his annual Marine Corps Squadron reunions.
He was pre-deceased by his brothers Harold & Edward and sisters Helen, Joan and Emily.
He is survived by his wife Marjorie, daughters Wendy Tarricone (Paul), Marjorie Rose Hatzmann, grandchildren Michael & Peter and brother George and many nieces and nephews.
He will be reposing Tues. 2-4 & 6-8pm at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State Street, Ossining.
Mass of Christian Burial Wed. 10am at St. Augustine’s Church, burial at Kensico Cemetery.

TRIPODI, FRANCINE M.
Francine M. Tripodi of Ossining, NY died Sept. 7, 2015, the birthday of her beloved Labrador Retriever, Tucker.
She was 61. She was born April 6, 1954 in Mount Vernon, NY to Frank Leonardo and Domenica Cardamone.
Francine was co-owner of Executive Courier of Greenwich, Inc.
She was also the former secretary and district leader for the Ossining Town GOP, and the former campaign manager and treasurer for many campaigns and committees, most notably the successful campaign of her son, Peter J. Tripodi, IV.
She loved all animals as well as collecting and decorating her lovely home with antiques.
She is survived by her husband, Peter J. Tripodi, III, and sons Peter J. Tripodi, IV and Tyler D. Tripodi.
CACOPARDO, MAX
Max Cacopardo of Ossining died suddenly on Sept. 7, 2015, he was 26.
He was born May 12, 1989 in Sleepy Hollow to Sal & Joanne (Nickerson) Cacopardo.
Max co-owned S&J Services, Inc. Heating & Air Conditioning in Ossining.
He is survived by his mother Joanne Cacopardo, father Sal Cacopardo & wife Nancy, sisters Brittany Sinatra & Candice Cacopardo and nephew Robert Sinatra.
He will be reposing Thurs. 4-8pm at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State Street Ossining.
