Ralph B. Williams
Ralph B. Williams, age 73, of Pleasant Valley, NY, died at the Thompson house in Rhinebeck on Friday, March 7, 2003.
Born May 14, 1929 in Kingston, Ralph was the son of the late Ida Mikesh Williams-Relyea & Bertram Williams.
A longtime Pleasant Valley resident, he retired from the Fishkill Correctional Facility as an Electrician. He also worked at the former John Aborio's Construction for approximately 20 years.
On December 24, 1954 in Millerton, he married Marjorie E. Stalker. Mrs. Williams survives at home.
In addition to his loving wife, Ralph is survived by two daughters, Christina A Pells and husband, Garry, of Napa, Ca. and Diana Pritchyk and husband, Michael, of Lake Aerial, Pa. Ralph has 3 grandchildren: William Andrew Pells, Nikolai Michael Pritchyk, and Alexander Ralph Pritchyk and one Great Granddaughter, Sydney Piper Vaughn Pells.
He is also survived by two sisters, Beatrice Ard, of Columbia, SC, and Janice Whynott, of East Granby, Ct. and several nieces and nephews.
A wounded combat veteran of the Korean War and man of many interests and talents, Ralph will be remembered by those who knew and loved him for his love of family and his love for living life his way. He will especially be remembered as happiest when spending time outdoors and enjoying his passion for raising, training and most of all running German Wire-Haired Pointers. "Dad, We miss you. Give Hagar a good run as we're sure you're with him now .... "
Calling hours will be from 2 to 6 pm, Sunday, March 9th at Sweet's Funeral Home, Inc., Rte. 9, Hyde Park. A funeral service will take place at 4 pm during the calling hours with Rev. Wayne Hanrattie officiating.
Burial in Friends Upton Lake Cemetery, Clinton Corners, will be at the convenience of the family.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Ralph B. Williams name to the Pleasant Valley Rescue Squad for all their help and assistance. Their address is Main Street, Pleasant Valley, NY 12569.

PERRIN, WALLACE K.
Perrin, Wallace K., age 88, of Patterson, NY, died Wednesday, November 5, 2008 in Carmel, NY. Mr. Perrin was born May 26, 1920 to Clinton and Clara (King) Perrin. He graduated from Ardsley High School and served in the Marines during WWII. Mr. Perrin married Rosemarie Wadle on November 21, 1953 in Croton Falls, NY. Mr. Perrin was a school bus driver for the Brewster Central School District for 20 years, retiring in 1985. He was a life member and past commander of the American Legion post in Patterson, a past chaplin of BPO Elks lodge in Brewster, and a past member of the Patterson Fire Department. A resident of Patterson since 1963, Mr. Perrin had lived in Irvington, NY prior. Besides his wife Rosemarie of 54 years, Wallace is survived by six children, four daughters, Diane Gumaer of Sunderland, MA, Lori Hernandez of Penn Valley, CA, Wendy Costa of Wallkill, NY and Robin Lazaro of Garner, NC, two sons, Glen Perrin of Alpine, WY and Clint Perrin of Schenectady, NY, two sisters, Evie Pepitone of Shoreham, NY and Audrey Szumowski of South River, NJ; also nine grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Doris Henrikson and three brothers, Frank, Clinton and Richard Perrin. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, November 10, 2008 10 AM at Dwyer Funeral Home, 23 South Street, Patterson, NY. Interment to follow at Maple Avenue Cemetery, Patterson. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Wallace's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Disease Association.

Albert White
Albert White, 86, a resident of the Victory Lake Nursing Center in Hyde Park, died on Wednesday, March 5, 2003 at the Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. A longtime area resident, he was a Baker for Capitol Bakery in Poughkeepsie and was a member of the Bakery & Confectionary Industry International Union before his retirement. Born on May 24, 1916, in Wappingers Falls, he was the son of Michael and Eva Twigler White. There are no known survivors. There are no calling hours. Graveside services and burial will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2003 at 11 a.m. at Union Cemetery in Hyde Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Sweets Funeral Home, Inc., Route 9, Hyde Park, N.Y.

VANDUNK, MARGARET E.
Margaret E. VanDunk of Suffern, NY passed away February 11, 2009 at the age of 93. Born March 1, 1915 in Hillburn, NY to Andrew and Eliza DeGroat, Margaret was retired from Tach Factory in Suffern, and was pre-deceased by her husband John in 1979. She was a member of the Ramapo Lenape nation and a daily communicant at Sacred Heart Church in Suffern, she is survived by her daughter Mozelle Hill of Suffern, two grandsons, Joseph Stein of Tuxedo, and Shawn Stein of Sloatsburg, four grandchildren, Pamela, Zach, Owen and Andrew, and one sister Mildred Artopee of Pomona, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Monday at 10 AM at Sacred Heart Church in Suffern Burial will follow at Airmont Cemetery in Airmont NY, friends may call on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Scarr Funeral Home Inc., Route 202, Suffern. Dorothy Bennett, a longtime resident of Mount Vernon, passed away on January 27, 2009 at the age of 90. Beloved mother of Martha Reno, Robert, Russell, Larry, Linda, Thomas and Kelvin Bennett. Services Friday, January 30, 2009. Family to receive friends from 5PM to 7PM at Camelot Funeral Home, Inc. 174 Stevens Ave, Mt. Vernon. Funeral Service to begin promptly at 7PM. William I. Simmons Sr.
William I. Simmons, Sr., 63, a lifelong area resident, died Tuesday, March 25, 2003 at Vassar Bros. Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, New York. He worked at the former D.V. Waste in Poughkeepsie until his early retirement. Mr. Simmons, Sr. lived in Stanfordville, New York.
He was born March 03, 1940 in Patterson, New York the son of the late Hanford and Margaret (Brown) Simmons.
On June 23, 1962, he married the former Kathyrine Wagner in Poughkeepsie. Mrs. Simmons predeceased him on April 3, 1988.
He is survived by 8 children, William Simmons Jr. of Millerton, Chester Simmons of Poughkeepsie, Raymond Simmons of Hyde Park, Joseph Simmons of Hyde Park, Virginia Simmons of Stanfordville, NY, Wandy Roma of Pleasant Valley, Terry Simmons of Stanfordville, and Steven Simmons of Staatsburg; Several Grandchildren; Several Brothers & Sisters; and Several Nieces & Nephews.
Calling Hours will be at Sweet's Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday, March 28th from 7 to 9 Pm.
Cremation and burial of his ashes in the family plot at Union Cemetery of Hyde Park will take place at the convenience of the family.

COOK, CLIFFORD
Clifford Cook transitioned on Monday, January 26, 2009 to be with the Lord. Clifford leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Bernice, children: Sandra (Willie) Cook-Wyatt of Stone Mountain, GA, Tara (Terry) McKee, Robin (Ray) Brumfield, Ebony (Ebon) Yizar and Clifford Cook, Jr. all of Yonkers. Visitation will take place TODAY from 6-9 PM, funeral on Friday 10 AM, at Community Baptist Church, 156 North Broadway, Yonkers, NY. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery. Arrangements by Brooks Memorial Home.
