BONOMOLO, PETER P. SR.
Peter P. Bonomolo, Sr. of Nanuet, NY died Saturday, August 9, 2008 at Albany Medical Center. He was 83. Mr. Bonomolo was the owner of the Valley Cottage Deli in Valley Cottage, NY for over 28 years before retiring in 2001. He was born to Paul and Josephine Bonomolo on January 31, 1925 in NY, NY. Educated in Pearl River Mr. Bonomolo was a graduate of Pearl River HS in 1942 where he was a three sport athlete. Mr. Bonomolo served in the United States Navy during WW ll attaining the rank of carpenter mate 3rd class. Locally, he was Past Commander of Camp Shanks American Legion, Past President of the Valley Cottage and Congers Lions Club, past member of the Nanuet Fire Department and member of the Nyack Monday Morning Quarterback Club. He is survived by his children Joann Apostle of Leesburg, FL, Sharon (Dexter) Abrams of Nanuet, NY, Barbara Jean Wright of Pomona, NY, Peter (Patti) Bonomolo of Bradley Beach, NJ and Mary Rose (Larry) Palumbo of New City, NY; sister Mary Lou Klass of Pearl River and brother Jerome (Annette) of Nanuet, NY; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his long time companion Ida Brott of Johnston, NY. He is predeceased by his wife Beverly and brother Agostino. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday at St. Anthony's R.C. Church, Nanuet, NY. Burial will follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery. Visiting is Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made sent to the Zachary and Elizabeth Fisher House, Stratton, VA Medical Center, 113 Holland Ave., Albany, NY 12208. CORBO, JAMES P.
James P. Corbo of Port Chester died of natural causes on August 10, 2008. Mr. Corbo worked as a self-employed beautician over the past 40 years. Jim was born October, 1928 in Port Chester to Vincenzo and Beatrice Summa Corbo. He was educated in Port Chester and graduated from Port Chester High School in 1946. In 1973, he married Isabel Colangelo at Holy Rosary Church, Port Chester, NY. Jimmy will be remembered as a fun-loving husband, brother, uncle and friend who loved to dance. He is survived by his wife Isabel, loving brother Angelo, and many nieces and nephews. Family members who died earlier include his sisters Mary Valentino, Jennie Sandarciero, Angelina Macri, brothers Leonard "Ned" Corbo and Joseph "Red" Corbo. Calling Hours are Wednesday, 9:00 -10:30 AM at Joseph Tutera Funeral Home, Inc., Port Chester, NY. The Funeral is 11:00 AM Wednesday at Holy Rosary Church. Clarence Harold Bowers
Clarence Harold Bowers of 163 Iradell Road, Ithaca passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Saturday, December 14, 2002 at the age of 72.
Born on June 23, 1930 in Akron, Ohio, Harold was the son of Grant C. and Mary F. Neptune Bowers. He attended Akron University before joining the U.S. Army in March of 1951. Harold faithfully served with the 226th Ordinance during the Korean Conflict and received an Honorable Discharge on March 7, 1953. Following his discharge from the Army he worked at various companies in the Akron area as a tool & die maker before moving to New York in 1964. In 1964 Harold accepted a position at Smith Corona in Cortland. From 1993 to 1997 he lived in California while he was training personnel at a new plant built by Smith Corona in Mexico. He retired from Smith Corona in December of 1997. During these very busy years Harold also owned and operated a 300-acre beef cattle farm named "Char-Den" in Trumansburg and owned and operated the Unicorn Restaurant in Groton.
He kept his hands active constantly with projects which family members translated into "puttering". His puttering often involved one of his children's or grandchildren's cars or homes as family members were the center of Harold's life. He was intertwined with their events and happenings and always stood ready to offer love and assistance in any way possible. His presence will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved Harold.
He is survived by his devoted wife, of 48 years, Solena M. "Sally" Bowers of Ithaca; two sons, Dennis (Debby) and Charles (Debbie) all of Trumansburg; three daughters, Cinda Bowers and Demaris Bowers both of Trumansburg and Jolene (Al) Christenson of Nunda, SD; eight grandchildren; one sister Gladys (Robert) Ross of Etna, CA; two brothers, Jack E. and John M. both of Mogadore, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Ulysses in Trumansburg on Wednesday, December 18, 2002 at 3:00 pm with the Rev. Jeffrey S. Kellam and the Rev. Robert Owens officiating.
In keeping with Harold's wishes, no public calling hours have been scheduled.

Thelma E. Eichberger
Thelma E. Eichberger of 101 Bundy Road, Ithaca (formerly of Campbell, NY) passed away at the Lakeside Nursing Home on Saturday, November 30, 2002 at the age of 92.
Born on March 13, 1910 in Gaines, New York, Thelma was the daughter of John and Alice Margaret Miles Hughes.
She had been employed as an election inspector for 20 years in Naples and had also worked as a saleswoman in Rochester for many years.
Thelma was preceded in death by her husband John "Jack" Eichberger in 1974 and by her two sisters.
Thelma moved to Ithaca in the summer of 2002 to be near her great-niece, Linda S. Hall of Willard.
Private interment will be in the Rose Ridge Cemetery, Naples.
Contributions in Thelma's memory may be directed to the American Cancer Society, 31 Adams Ave, Endicott, NY 13760.

FELICIANO, CHRISTINA EMMA
Christina Emma Feliciano passed away suddenly on May 9, 2008 at her home in Stamford, NY. Formely of Yonkers, Christina was born on December 24, 1936 in the Bronx to the late Anna O'Rielly and Gus Saehr. Christina leaves behind her daughters: Georganne (Larry) Grosso, Christina (Edward) Maier, Emily (Kyle) Cretchin and Suzanne. She also leaves behind 14 grandchildren and four great -grandchildren. GORDON, MARGARET EILEEN
Margaret Eileen Gordon, usually known as "Peggy", of Florida, NY and formerly of Rockland County, died on June 27, 2008 at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ after a brief but heroic battle against cancer. Peggy was born to Joy H. Leavy and John P. Leavy at Tuxedo Park, NY on November 26, 1952. She is survived by her beloved husband of 27 years, Ronald A. Gordon. She is also survived by her stepchildren who she dearly loved, Cynthia Maynard, Pamala Finan and her husband Brian Finan, Nicholas Gordon and his wife Cheri Gordon, Lorraine King, and Alyce Ingram and her husband Kevin Ingram. She is also survived by nine step-grandchildren who she also dearly loved: Robert Maynard, Michael Finan and his wife Vanessa Finan, Ashley Finan, Ryan Finan, Cameron Gordon, Nichole King, Richard King, Matthew King, and Chelsea Ingram. She is also survived as well by two step-great grandchildren: Noah Hunsacker and Logan King. Peggy is also survived by her sister Joan Riley and her husband James Riley and her brother Christopher Leavy and his wife Donna Leavy; and her sister-in-law Kathleen Meenan and her husband Christopher Meenan as well as seven nephews and nieces: Carolyn Chapman and her husband Peter Chapman, Tara Machnik and her husband Todd Machnik, Sean Riley and his wife Elizabeth Riley, Colleen Sweet and her husband Jason Sweet, Caitlin Leavy, Emma Leavy, and Alexander Leavy and six grand-nieces and three grand-nephews Peggy was pre-deceased by her brothers, Lawrence Leavy and Thomas Leavy. Peggy served with distinction and dedication for over thirty years as a social worker with the Rockland County Department of Social Services; most recently, she served as the supervisor of the Spring Valley Office of Children's Protective Services. Peggy had earned a Bachelor in Science Degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and she also earned a Masters Degree in Social Work from Fordham University. Peggy will be remembered for her warmth and understanding of all people and for her constant recognition and assistance to those who were challenged or in need. She will also be remembered for her most wonderful sense of humor and for her love of her family and friends, her love for her dogs, most recently Scully and Ducky, for her love of holidays, and her over-arching enthusiasm and love of life. She will be dearly missed. A Memorial Service will be held for Peggy in the open air as she wished at the Orange County Arboretum, 211 Route 416 and Montgomery, NY 12549 on Sunday, July 13, 2008 at 10:00 AM. HANNIGAN, JAMES P.
James P. Hannigan, formerly of Tuckahoe, died June 30, 2008. Devoted husband of the late Patricia Hannigan (d. July 3, 2000). Loving father of Maureen McElligott, James Dennis, Kathleen O'Connor and Nancy Huvane. Also survived by seven grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. Proudly served in U.S. Navy during WWII. The family will receives friends at the Beecher Funeral Home, Inc. in Pleasantville on Wednesday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Thursday at Holy Rosary R.C. Church, Hawthorne, NY. Burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
