Jennifer Teresa Altilio and Grant David Kadavy, both of Tustin, CA were married October 9, 2004 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Elmira, NY. The 3:00 pm Mass and nuptial ceremony was performed by Reverend Richard Farrell. The Bride is the daughter of Gerald and Janiene Altilio of Horseheads, NY. The Groom is the son of Sandra Munger Kadavy of Omaha, NE and Paul Dean Kadavy of Fountain Hills, AZ. The Bride wore a v-neck, full length gown of white silk satin designed by Monique Lhuillier Courture of Los Angelus. Just below the empire waist, the gown was adorned with a thin band of crystal and pearl beading. A two-tier, v-shaped bridal veil of white with a rolled edge, and a head piece of Swarovski crystals and pearls, custom designed by Toni Federici of California, completed her ensemble. Her mother's white gold necklace created with her grandmother's diamonds graced her neck. The Bride carried a bouquet of white roses and minature calla lilies. The Matron of Honor was Elizabeth Nalbach of Big Flats, NY, sister of the Bride. Attendant bridesmaids were Thea Kadavy of Omaha, NE (sister of the Groom); Michelle Altilio of Omaha, NE (sister-in-law of the Bride); and friends of the Bride, Shawna Blowe of Richmond, VA; and Melanie Kaye of Great Neck, NY. The Junior Bridesmaids, both nieces of the Bride, were Christine Altilio and Sarah Altilio of Omaha, NE. Jeffrey Kadavy of Omaha, NE, brother of the Groom, served as Best Man. Groomsmen included Gerald Altilio Jr., of Omaha, NE (brother of the Bride); Stephen Nalbach of Big Flats, NY (brother-in-law of the Bride); Mark Thistle of Minneapolis, MN and Jon Ulvestad of Denver, CO, both friends of the Groom. Nicholas Nalbach of Big Flats, NY, nephew of the Bride, acted as Junior Usher. Julia Altilio of Omaha, NE, niece of the Bride, was Flower Girl while Nathan Nalbach of Big Flats, NY, nephew of the bride, served as Ring Bearer. The reception was held at the Elmira Country Club in Elmira, NY. The Bride graduated in 1994 from Horseheads High School and received a Bachelor's degree in 1998 from Cornell University in Food Science and Technology. The Groom graduated in 1993 from Lincoln East High School in Lincoln, NE and received a Bachelor's degree in 1997 in Economics and Communications from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN. He is currently General Manager of Cargill in Fullerton, CA. The couple honeymooned in Sonoma and Napa Valley wine country and enjoyed a trip along the northern and southern coast of California, including San Francisco. Jennifer and Grant now reside in Tustin, CA.
