Michelle Anne Flynn and David Michael Briggs, both of Elmira, New York will be married July 16, 2005 at St. Mary's Church. The 2:00 PM ceremony will be performed by Father Rick Farrell. The Bride-elect is the daughter of Kevin Flynn of Elmira and the late Joanne Flynn. She is a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Elmira and received her B.A. in Communications from SUNY Cortland. Currently, Michelle is employed at Elmira College. The Groom-elect is the son of John and Linda Briggs of Waverly, New York and grandson of Rodney Briggs of Sayre, Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of Waverly High School and attended Herkimer Community College. Currently, David is employed at The Leader. The Maid of Honor will be Kathleen Laux with Colleen Flynn, Tara Marks, Annie Burnham, Theresa Siconolfi, and Laurie Wing as Bride's attendants. The Flower Girl will be I'Lasiah Harris and Ring Bearer will be Nicholas Briggs. The Best Man will be Harry Hoover with David-Michael Briggs, Neil Briggs, Larry Luther, Dave McNeal, Chris Stanton and Mike Coyle as Groomsmen. The reception will be held at the Clemens Center in Elmira. After a honeymoon to Sandals Whitehouse in Jamaica, the couple will reside in Elmira.
