Megan Lynn Brown of Vernon, CT and Eli Nickerson Ross, also of Vernon were married at the First Presbyterian Church of Watkins Glen, NY on July 10, 2004. The 5 pm wedding was performed by the Rev. Beverly Karr-Lyon of Watkins Glen. The Bride, daughter of John and Danna Brown of Watkins Glen is a graduate of Clarkson University in 1994 with a degree in civil and environmental engineering and received her P.E. in 2001. She is employed by TRC Environmental Corporation in Windsor, CT as a project engineer. The Groom, son of Robin Thomas and Carl Addy of Vancouver, WA, and Barbara Macomber and Richard Ross of Portland, OR, graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 1993 with a B.S. in materials engineering. He received a Ph.D. in materials engineering from the University of Florida in 1999, and earned his M.B.A. from the University of Connecticut in 2003. He is employed by Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford, CT, as a materials engineer. The Maid of Honor was Alison Farrell, friend of the Bride of Niskayuna, NY. Bride's attendants included Bethany Brown of Watkins Glen and Kristen Weinberger of Fairfax, VA (sisters of the Bride); Marya Mahoney of Ellington, CT (friend of the Bride); and Margaret Swinnerton of Watkins Glen (friend of the Bride). Best Man was Douglas Eddy of Hamilton, VA (friend of the Groom). Groomsmen were Bradley Smith of Watkins Glen and Kenneth Weinberger of Fairfax, VA (brothers-in-law of the couple); Brendan Maguire of Albany, NY (friend of the Groom); and Chris Landers of Hebron, CT (friend of the couple). The reception was held at Hazlitt's Beach in Hector, NY. After a honeymoon in France, the couple returned to Vernon, where they reside.
