BROWN - SMITH

Bethany Leigh Brown and Bradley William Smith, both of Watkins Glen, NY were married July 19, 2003 at Lawrence Chapel in Alpine, NY. The Rev. Beverly Karr-Lyon performed the 5 pm ceremony. The Bride, daughter of John and Danna Brown of Watkins Glen, graduated in 1999 from Corning Community College, 2001 from SUNY Potsdam, and 2003 from Clarkson University and is employed as the Assistant Director of Human Resources for the Franziska Racker Centers in Ithaca, NY. The Groom, son of Dennis and Leslie Smith of Watkins Glen, also graduated in 1999 from Corning Community College, and 2003 from both SUNY Potsdam and Clarkson University. He is employed as a structural engineer for the Thomas Group in Ithaca. Acting as co-maids of honor for the couple were Megan Brown of Vernon, CT and Kristen Brown of Fairfax, VA; both sisters of the Bride. Bridesmaids included Caitlin Corrigan of Mansfield, PA (cousin of the Bride); and Patti Jo Franzese and Theresa Butler both of Watkins Glen (friends of the couple). Best Man was Matthew Clark of Elmira, NY, friend of the couple. Groomsmen included Jeremy Smith of Albany, NY (brother of the Groom); Ken Weinberger of Fairfax; Eli Ross of Vernon; and Nicholas Bartone of Watkins Glen (all friends of the couple). The reception was held at the Fountainebleu Inn on Cayutah Lake. After honeymooning in Maine, the couple returned to Watkins Glen, where they made their home.
