Julie Ferris of Elmira, NY and Mark L'Amoreaux of Horseheads, NY were married May 3, 2003 at St. Mary's Church on the Southside. The 2:00 pm ceremony was performed by Father Pat Connor from Eastside Catholic Churches and Father Januz Jedrychowski from St. Nichalus Ukranian Church. The Bride is the daughter of Norman and Joann Ferris of Elmira and granddaughter of Freeman and Marie Ferris of Lawrenceville, PA. She received her Bachelors degree at Geneseo and her Masters degree at Cortland and is a Teacher. The Groom is the son of Thomas and Maria L'Amoreaux of Horseheads and grandson of Basil Dowzycky of Horseheads. He received his Bachelors degree at RIT and is an Electrical Engineer. The Maid of Honor was Sally Deane and Bride's attendants were Jean Ferris, Laurie L'Amoreaux, Lissy L'Amoreaux, Bridgit Bacon, Jill Yonkers, Anne Tiberia and Kate Norway. Ring Bearer was Jack Ferris. Best Man was Bryan Malone and Groomsmen were Scott Briggs, Adam Scheider, David Ferris, Jamie Carson, Tim Reidy, Jason Ellis and Jim Nielson. The reception was held at the Corning Country Club. After a honeymoon to Maui, Hawaii the couple resides in Elmira Heights.
