Kristen Richmond and Peter Ruhmel both of Big Flats, NY were married June 7, 2003 at St. Gabriels of Hammondsport. The 2pm ceremony was performed by Deacon Daniel Hurley. The Bride, daughter of Philip and Jacquelyn Richmond of Big Flats received her Bachelor's in Speech and Hearing Handicapped & Masters in Reading. She is employed as a Speech Therapist with CP of Chemung County. The Groom, son of Charles and Joan Ruhmel of Big Flats received his Criminal Justice Degree and is a Police Officer for the Elmira Heights Police Department. The Matron of Honor was Carrie Hooey and Bride's attendants were Stacy Saglibene, Kelley Batrowny, Lindsay Batrowny, Stacy Richmond, Dawn Hanrahan and Amy Rawcliffe. Flower Girls were Jenna and Allison Richmond and Francesca Hooey and Ring Bearer was Sako Solt. Best Man was Bill Solt and Groomsmen were Mike Ruhmel, Scott Ruhmel, Paul Richmond, Chad Turner, Patrick Crouse and Jason Forcier. The reception was held at Heron Hill Winery on Keuka Lake. After a honeymoon to Aruba the couple reside in Elmira.
