Barbara A. Alexander, 63, of 2065 Ritner Highway, Carlisle, died Monday, July 7, 1997 in Carlisle Hospital.
Born Dec. 19, 1933 in St. Louis, Mo., she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Dorothy Roy Artis.
Mrs. Alexander was an interior designer for Anthony's Furniture.
She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Carlisle and a member of the PTO for St. Patrick's School.
Surviving are her husband, Thomas Alexander; two sons, Thomas III of Carlisle and Gregory of Newville; four daughters, Deirdre Derick of Marysville, Deborah L. Mullen, Dawn Alexander and Dodi Alexander, all of Carlisle; a brother, Robert Artis of Michigan; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held.
The Cremation Society of Harrisburg is in charge of the arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick's Elementary School, the Reading Garden or Library Fund, Marsh Drive, Carlisle, 17013.

Rosie Rebecca Cunningham, 88, a resident of Reeders Memorial Home, Boonsboro, Md., died Monday, July 7, 1997 at Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown, Md.
Born Jan. 21, 1909 in Pondsville, Md., she was a daughter of the late John William and Anna Mae Swope Webb and the widow of Robert Edward Cunningham, who died in 1978.
Mrs. Cunningham, a homemaker, was a former member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Rohersville, Md. and currently a member of Rehobeth United Methodist Church in Williamsport, Md.
Surviving are two daughters, Loleta M. Potter of Boonsboro and Shirley Y. Moser of Hagerstown; two sons, William F. of Carlisle and Roger L. of Hutchinson, Kan.; two brothers, Joseph W. Webb and John W. Webb Jr., both of Hagerstown; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca Ann Cunningham; three infant children; two sisters, Leona Keadle and Betty Dandelske; and three brothers, Wesley Webb, Merrick Webb and Charles Webb.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Bast Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, with the Rev. James Swecker, the Rev. Carolyn Boyce and Debra Roberson officiating. Burial will be in Boonsboro Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Services for John S. Feister, 85, of 624 South Mountain Road, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Cocklin Funeral Home, 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg.
He died Sunday, July 6, 1997 at home.
Born Sept. 23, 1911 in Carroll Township, Perry County, he was a son of the late Joseph P. and Anna Feister.
Mr. Feister was a retired supervisor for Genesco Inc., formerly of Carlisle.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth V. Diller Feister; a son, Donald C. of Dillsburg; and a sister, Jennie Shrawder of Carlisle.
The Rev. John Good will officiate at Wednesday's service. Burial will be in Dillsburg Cemetery.
Friends may call from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Kenneth E. Fogelsanger, 72, of 11693 Old Mill Road, Shippensburg, died Monday, July 7, 1997 at home.
Born Sept. 28, 1924 in Guilford Township, Franklin County, he was a son of the late Reuben B. and Martha Hartman Fogelsanger.
Mr. Fogelsanger was the owner of the former Fogelsanger's Radiator and Welding Shop, Shippensburg. He retired in 1981.
He was a member of Shippensburg Church of the Brethren, where he was deacon emeritus and a former secretary. He was also a member of the Old Chimney Hunting Club, the American Association of Retired Persons, Fort Morris Chapter and the Good Sam Camping Club.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Watson Fogelsanger; two brothers, Jay E. of Hanover and the Rev. Donald H. of Chambersburg; a sister, Mildred L. Long, of Elizabethtown; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the Shippensburg Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Paul Boll and the Rev. Wayne Hall officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Memorial Fund of Shippensburg Church of the Brethren, 253 E. Garfield St., Shippensburg 17257.

Ollie Gitt, 89, of Mt. Holly Springs, died Monday, July 7, 1997 at his home.
Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle will announce arrangements when complete.
Paul E. Hedin Sr., 63, of 1111 Baldwin St., Mechanicsburg, died Monday, July 7, 1997 in Blue Ridge Haven West, Camp Hill.
Born Feb. 20, 1934 in Worcester, Mass., he was a son of the late Gerard and Myrtle Johnson Hedin.
Mr. Hedin was a 1956 graduate of Marietta College, Marietta, Ohio. He was vice president of Carlos R. Leffler Inc., Richland.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mechanicsburg and the American Society of Lubrication Engineers.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley L. Cullinan Hedin; three sons, Paul E. Jr. of Lewisberry, Richard J. of Etters and Bruce E. of Mountain View, Calif.; a daughter, Brenda Sue Hovde of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; a brother, Gerard E. of Sewickley; and six grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Malpezzi Funeral Home, 8 Market Plaza Way, Mechanicsburg with the Rev. Darius Moss and the Rev. Dr. Howard Hovde officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Victor K. Kingsborough, 84, of 3460 Spring Road, Carlisle, died Monday, July 7, 1997 in Thornwald Nursing Home, Carlisle.
Born Nov. 4, 1912 in Middlesex Township, he was a son of the late W. Seibert and Edith Lerew Kingsborough.
Mr. Kingsborough was owner and operator of Kingsborough Brothers Fuel Co. of Carlisle Springs, a fuel oil and coal business, retiring several years ago.
He was a member of St. Matthews United Church of Christ, Carlisle Springs, where he was a former member and past president of the church consistory. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Goldie Lightner Kingsborough; three brothers, Ray W., Albert H. and Eugene, all of Carlisle, and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, V. Kenneth Jr., who died July 11, 1996, and a brother, Paul.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in his church, 3240 Spring Road, Carlisle, with the Rev. Darrell Justh officiating. Burial will be in Kutz's Cemetery, Middlesex Township.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.

J. Earl Leib, 91, a resident of the Church of God Home, Carlisle and formerly of South Middleton Township, died Monday, July 7, 1997 in Carlisle Hospital.
Born March 6, 1906 in Carlisle, he was a son of the late John and Annie Cornman Leib and the widower of Mary Hoover Leib.
Mr. Leib was an employee of C.H. Masland and Sons, Carlisle and a former farmer in South Middleton Township.
He was a member of the Hillcrest Church of God, North Middleton Township.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Dean E. and Carol Leib of Churchville; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Blanche Leib.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle with the Rev. Philip H. Sturr officiating. Burial will be in North Middleton Church of God Cemetery.
Friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Services for Calvin H. Bobo, 91, of York Springs, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Monahan Funeral Home, 232 Main St., York Springs.
He died Tuesday, July 8, 1997 in Gettysburg Hospital.
Born April 24, 1906 in Fisher, W.Va., he was a son of the late Calvin and Lucy Mongold Bobo.
Mr. Bobo retired in 1966 after serving 23 years with the U.S. Naval Depot in Mechanicsburg.
Surviving are his wife, Velma Ritchie Bobo; five daughters, Laurene Tate and Patsy Bobo of Gardners, Eula Borror of York, Janet Pappas of Middletown and Barbara Villarreal of Hummelstown; a brother, Pressley of Petersburg, W.Va.; a sister, Mamie Milburn of Berkley Springs, W.Va.; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Wenksville Cemetery, Wenksville.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
