Services for Dale L. Shambaugh, 52, of Huxley, Texas, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Myers Funeral Home, 37 E. Main St., Mechanicsburg.
He died Sunday, Aug. 10, 1997 in his home.
Born Feb. 7, 1945 in Harrisburg, he was the son of Florence Rickard Thomas of Mechanicsburg and the late George G. Shambaugh.
A 1963 graduate of Cumberland Valley High School and Stephen F. Austin University, Nacogdoches, Texas, Mr. Shambaugh was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a stepfather, Christian Earl Thomas of Mechanicsburg.
The Rev. William C. Butts will officiate at Thursday's service. Burial will be in Shoops Cemetery, Lower Paxton Township.
Friends may call from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Services for James W. Mauss, 49, of East Berlin and formerly of York, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Workinger-Semmel Funeral Home, Inc., 849 E. Market St., York.
He died Monday, Aug. 11, 1997 in Hershey Medical Center.
Born March 26, 1948 in York, he was a son of the late Paul D. Sr., and Ruth E. Stabley Mauss.
Mr. Mauss, a self-employed electrician for 25 years, was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of White Rose VFW Post No. 556, York.
Surviving are his companion, Theresa Christiansen; two daughters, Renee M. Gohn and Jamie L. Mauss, both of York; a sister, Mary Lou Ball of York; a brother, Paul D. Mauss Jr. of Cary, N.C.; and a granddaughter.
The Rev. Burton J. Parry will officiate Thursday's services. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens with graveside military rites conducted by York County Veterans Honor Guard.
There will be no viewing, however, friends may call from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 924 N. Colonial Ave., York 17403.

Mary Anna Morton, 79, of Cordova, S.C., and formerly of New Cumberland, died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 1997 in Mariner Health Care East, Sumter, S.C.
Born, Sept. 17, 1918 in New Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Maude Leach Livingston.
She was a retired teller for the former CCNB Bank, New Cumberland and Camp Hill Shopping Center branches, and a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, New Cumberland.
Surviving are a son, Jack E. Morton of Cordova; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Parthemore Funeral Home, 1303 Bridge St., New Cumberland, with the Rev. Richard G. Lorenz officiating.
Friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to her church at 524 Bridge St., New Cumberland 17070.

Services for Frank W. Fraker, 74, of York Township, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Etzweiler Funeral Home, 1111 E. Market St., York.
He died Monday, Aug. 11, 1997 in his home.
Born Oct. 15, 1922 in Carlisle, he was son of the late Frank B. and Dorothy Myers Fraker.
Mr. Fraker, a retired foreman for the former D.E. Markey Construction Co. after 20 years of service, also was a part-time employee for Ralph G. Brenneman Auctions.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Beatrice R. Wert Fraker; two sons, William H. Wert of York and Steven W. Fraker of Union Springs, N.Y.; three daughters, Beverly A. Vaughn and Linda K. Parrish, both of York and Connie L. Scarlett Vint of Nokesville, Va.; two brothers, Charlie J. and Richard E., both of Carlisle; a sister, Jean E. Gleim of Carlisle; 12 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son Roger L.; and a sister, Emma Mountz.
The Rev. Richard A. Noll will officiate Friday's services. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
Graveside military services will be held by the York County Veterans Honor Guard on Friday.

Services for Elsie L. Victor, 91, of the Church of God Home, Carlisle, and formerly of 336 Acre Drive, Carlisle, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Hennessy-Bagnoli Funeral Home, 936 N. Main St., Akron, Ohio.
She died Saturday, Aug. 9, 1997.
Born May 29, 1906 in Akron, she was a daughter of the late Herman and Blanche Phillips Scholz and the widow of Alfred H. Victor Sr.
Mrs. Victor attended North High School, Akron and was a member of the Carlisle Barracks Memorial Chapel.
Surviving are two sisters, Elizabeth Frick of Lowell, Ind. and Violet Scott of Deerfield, Ohio; four grandchildren; and four great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by a son, Col. Alfred H. Victor Jr.
Friends may call from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday in the funeral home in Akron. Burial will be in Tallmadge Cemetery, Tallmadge, Ohio.
In addition to Friday's service in Akron, a memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Aug. 25 in the Church of God Home, 801 N. Hanover St., Carlisle.
Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, Carlisle, is handling the local arrangements.

Harold F. Fake, 74, of Enola, died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 1997 in West Shore Health and Rehabilitation Center, East Pennsboro Township.
Born Dec. 28, 1922 in East Pennsboro Township, he was a son of the late Harvey and Eva Morris Fake.
Mr. Fake was a retired independent contractor.
Surviving are his wife Helen M. Russell Fake; a son, Harold M. of Fairview; two daughters, Joyce L. Goldstein of Harrisburg and Gail M. String of Mechanicsburg; four brothers, Walter of Jacksonville, Fla., Robert and Wilbur, both of Enola, and Donald of Glen Burnie, Md.; three sisters, Mary Fortney and Dorothy Bryson, both of Enola and Eva Hoover of West Fairview; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Parthemore Funeral Home, 1303 Bridge St., New Cumberland, with Pastor Dave DiRaddo officiating.
Burial with military honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Hanover Township.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.

Services for Frank E. Robinson, 90, of 351 B St., Carlisle, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Carlisle.
He died Saturday, Aug. 9, 1997, in Carlisle Hospital.
Born Oct. 28, 1906, in Carlisle, he was a son of the late David E. and Florence Freeze Robinson and the widower of Ella Mae Byers Robinson, who died in 1988.
Mr. Robinson retired from PP&L Co., Carlisle, with 50 years of service.
He was a life-long member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Carlisle, where he served as a deacon and trustee for many years.
Surviving are his second wife, Suzanne Coleman Robinson; a son, Maxwell E. of Fayetteville, N.C.; a daughter, Jean L. Jordan of Carlisle; a stepson, Cpl. William C. Coleman of Fort Riley, Kan.; a stepdaughter, Etta M. Coleman of Carlisle; 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Milton and Frank Robinson; a brother, William Robinson, and two sisters, Edna Moore and Mary Grant.
The Rev. Dr. William E. Jones will officiate at Thursday's services. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, West Pennsboro Township.
Friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, is in charge of the arrangements.

Services for Miles R. Stahl, 76 of 167 Oak Flat Road, Newville, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Mt. Holly Springs United Methodist Church.
He died Saturday, Aug. 9, 1997, at home.
Born May 8, 1921, in Blain, he was a son of the late Clarence and Mary C. Gutshall Stahl.
Mr. Stahl was retired from the former Reisinger Brothers Construction Co. and was an active participant at flea markets.
He was a member of the Mt. Holly Springs United Methodist Church, the Twin Mountains CB Radio Club and VFW Post No. 7343. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Minnie Kiner Stahl; three sons, William Sr. and Donald of Newville, and Fred of Mt. Holly Springs; three daughters, Janice Smith of Dry Ridge, Ky., Barbara Sampson and Catherine Stahl of Mt. Holly Springs; three brothers, Paul of Newport, Glen of Duncannon and Emory of Greencastle; three sisters, Lula Kiner of Blain, Helen Leatherman of Hawley and Doris Maxwell of Newport; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Terry L., who died Dec. 5, 1989, and a brother, Vernon.
The Revs. Bradley Knepp and J. Kenneth Barner will officiate at Thursday's services. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens, North Middleton Township.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Gibson-Hollinger Funeral Home, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs.
