Services for Kenneth E. Leer, 78, formerly of Gardners, will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in Gibson-Hollinger Funeral Home, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs.
He died Friday, Oct. 3, 1997 in the Todd Home, 1000 W. South St., Carlisle.
Born Feb. 22, 1919 in Cumberland County, he was a son of the late Addison and Leora Slaybaugh Leer. He was the widower of Pearl R. Leer, who died in 1980.
Mr. Leer was a retired employee of C.H. Musselman Pet Milk Division in Biglerville.
He was a member of Mt. Victory United Methodist Church, Gardners.
Surviving are one son, Edward K. of Gardners; two daughters, Leora A. Piper of Gardners and Rosalie L. Kipp of Gettysburg; one brother, Robert of Aspers; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two step great-grandchildren.
The Revs. John A. Ile and Donald E. Van Kirk will officiate at Monday's services. Burial will be in Mt. Victory Church Cemetery, South Middleton Township.
Friends may call Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Victory United Methodist Church Building Fund, 1 Victory Church Road, Gardners, Pa. 17324.

Funeral services for Bruce Brumley, 57, of Carlisle, formerly of Berea, Ky., were held Sept. 27 at Horse Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Scott Summer officiating.
He died Wednesday, Sept. 24, 1997 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Ga.
A graduate of Berea High School and of Berea College, he served in the U.S. Air Force from 1962 to 1966. He was retired from IBM Corp.
He is survived by his wife, Georgia Gatliff Brumley; a son, Ronald of Carlisle; a daughter, Dawn B. Grago of York; a brother, Don of Versailles, Ky.; two sisters, Barbara B. Woods of Warner-Robins, Ga. and Gayle B. Mautner of Tampa, Fla.; one granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Kaye B. Hamilton.
Burial was in the Engine Cemetery. Rominger Funeral Home in Manchester, Ky. was in charge of the arrangements.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Theresa Romanelli Bugel, 81, of New Cumberland, will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland.
She died Friday, Oct. 3, 1997 in Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Township.
Born July 16, 1916 in Middletown, Pa., she was a daughter of the late James and Philamena Bengovingo Romanelli.
Mrs. Bugel was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland.
Surviving are her husband, John Bugel, Jr.; a daughter, Donna Marie Clark of Hatfield, Mass.; three brothers, James Romanelli of Marietta, Ga., Mark Romanelli of Middletown and Thomas Romanelli of Las Vegas, Nev.; three sisters, Annette Lankowitz and Mary Romanelli, both of Middletown and Gloria Adams of Patterson, Ohio; and three grandchildren.
The Rev. Luis R. Rodriguez will officiate Wednesday's service. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
Friends may call from 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. Wednesday at Parthemore Funeral Home, 1303 Bridge St., New Cumberland.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.

Services for Robert E. Coover, Sr., 52, of Leesville, La., will be held at 2 p.m. today in Beauregard-Vernon Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville.
He died Wednesday, Oct. 1, 1997 in the Bayne Jones Army Community Hospital, Fort Polk, La.
Mr. Coover, a native of Carlisle, was retired from the United States Army as a Sergeant First Class and a member of the Sundown Volunteer Fire Company, Leesville.
Surviving are his father, Walter Roy Coover of Carlisle; a son Robert "Bobby", Jr. of Leesville; a daughter, Beth Ann of Leesville; six brothers, Irvin Paul, Sam, Ed, all of Carlisle, Jack of Middleburg, Richard of Newville and George of Altoona; and five sisters, Lena Stitt and Katie Vaughn, both of Carlisle, Shirley Mowrie of Newville, Doris Cardwell of Leesville and Bertha Miller of Carlisle.
The Rev. Dennis Carroll will officiate today's services. Burial will be in Oak Forest Cemetery in Leesville with full military honors.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. Oct. 4 and from 8 a.m. until the time of the service Sunday in the funeral home.

Services for Arly L. Reisinger, 81, of Loysville, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Nickel Funeral Home, Loysville.
She died Friday, Oct. 3, 1997 in her home.
Born Feb. 14, 1916 in Loysville, she was a daughter of the late Seibert and Vera McMillen Barclay and the widow of William L. "Pete" Reisinger.
Mrs. Reisinger was a clerical employee of PP&L as well as a former teacher's aide at the Blain Elementary School.
She attended the former Carlisle Commercial College and was a member and former Sunday school teacher at the Centre Presbyterian Church, Loysville.
She was also a former 4-H leader and a member of Perry Historians, Neighbor's Club, Ladies Auxiliary of the Blain Fire Company and the Blain Ambulance Club.
Surviving are a daughter, Karen L. Wilson of Loysville; a brother, Kenneth Barclay of Woodland Hills, Calif.; two sisters, Lois Gantz of Aspers and V. Joyce Barclay of New Bloomfield; a granddaughter; two great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son, Keith A. Reisinger.
The Rev. Kenneth P. Osborne will officiate Tuesday's service. Burial will be in Centre Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Loysville.
Friends may call from noon until the time of the service Tuesday in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Blain Ambulance Club, Blain, Pa. 17006 or Dogwood Hospice of Carlisle Hospital, 1200 Walnut Bottom Road, Carlisle, Pa. 17013.

Dorothy I. Titzell, 81, of 714 New Bloomfield Road, Duncannon, died Saturday, Oct. 4, 1997 in Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Township.
Born Oct. 8, 1915 in East Waterford, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Annie Peck Fisher.
Mrs. Titzell was a retired first-grade teacher having taught in the former Penn Township School and Susquenita Elementary School. She was a co-owner of the former Saville General Store and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Ickesburg. Mrs. Titzell also was a member of the Perry County and National Retired Teachers Association.
The widow of G. Ross Titzell, she is survived by a son, George R. of Middlesex, N.J.; two daughters, Jane M. of Mechanicsburg and Rebecca I. of Duncannon; a brother, Benjamin F. Fisher Jr. of Papillion, Nebraska; a sister, Mary Foose of Lancaster; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Tuesday in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Nook, Juniata County. The Rev. Kathy Kinney will officiate.
Interment will be in the church Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from noon to 1 p.m. at the church.
Arrangements are being handled by Boyer Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Lee N. Booz, 73, of 1099 Ridge Road, Shippensburg, will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in New Hope United Methodist Church.
He died Saturday, Oct. 4, 1997 in the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born March 4, 1924 in Hopewell Township, he was the son of Norman A. Booz, Shippensburg and the late Helen Cressler Booz.
The owner of Booz Milk Transport, Shippensburg, he was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church and a former member of the church's administrative council.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Martha E. Strohm Booz; a son, Larry L. of Portsmouth, N.H.; a twin sister, Leora H. Shoop of Shippensburg; three grandsons; and one great-granddaughter.
The Rev. John L. Shellenberger and J. Roy Bower will officiate at Wednesday's services. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Shippensburg.
Friends may call at Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Shippensburg, on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Mary E. Frazer, 79, of 304 Valley St., Summerdale, formerly from Mt. Holly Springs, died Sunday, Oct. 5, 1997 in Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Township.
Born Dec. 26, 1917 in Boiling Springs, she was a daughter of the late Herman and Edna Herr Kutz.
A 1935 graduate of Boiling Springs High School and a 1939 graduate of the former Harrisburg School of Nursing, Mrs. Frazer was a retired registered nurse.
She was a member of the Body of Christ Church in Summerdale.
Surviving are her husband, John Frazer; a son, Dr. Paul D. of Sioux Falls, S.D.; two daughters, Elizabeth K. Witmer of Mechanicsburg and Lois M. Holtry of Port Royal; a brother, Gilbert Kutz of Greensboro, N.C.; a sister, Delores Boston of Picture Rocks; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Stephen; a daughter, Hanah; and a brother, Herman Kutz.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Gibson-Hollinger Funeral Home, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, with Ralph Reeb officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery.
Friends may call from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
