Anna M. Hranec
Anna M. Jakubick Hranec, 89, of McClellandtown, Pa., died peacefully Friday, May 25, 2001.
She was born February 16, 1912, in Turzovka, Slovakia, daughter of Matthew and Rose Jakubick.
Mrs. Hranec was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Leckrone, Pa., and St. Mary's Rosary Society.
For many years she had been employed with the former German Township High School in the cafeteria and was a member of German Township High School Band Mothers.
She was also a member of Jednota Lodge.
Her husband, Joseph P. Hranec, three daughters, Rose Myers, Mary Perkins, and Helen Hranec in infancy, and her parents preceded her in death.
Surviving are eight children: Joseph P. Hranec of Bergenfield, New Jersey, Frank Hranec of Warren, Michigan, John E. Hranec Sr. and his wife, Lucille, of McClellandtown, Pa., Ann Lescar of Carmichaels, Pa., Catherine and her husband, Carson Hailey, of Brooklyn, New York, Joan Liston of Masontown, Pa., Margaret and her husband, Bill Granchi, of Mentor, Ohio, and Eleanor "Dolly" and her husband, Henry Mikrut, of Raritan, New Jersey; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; a son-in-law, Charles Myers of McClellandtown; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOMES INC., 515 North Main Street, Masontown, Pa., today, May 29, until 9:30 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held.
A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 9:45 a.m. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help, St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Leckrone, Pa., with Rev. Fr. Andrew M. Kawecki as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Leckrone, Pa.
Visitation was also held Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Memorial Day from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Parish Wake Service was held Monday at Noon and St. Mary's Rosary Society recited the Rosary on Monday at 3 p.m.

Leona Miller Jackson
Leona Miller Jackson, 63, of Glen Burnie, Maryland, and formerly of Point Marion, Pa., died unexpectedly Memorial Day, May 28, 2001, at the home of her sister, Edith Summerfield, in Point Marion.
Arrangements will be announced by the Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, 501 Morgantown Street, Point Marion, Pa.

Enoch F. Koslasky
Enoch F. Koslasky, 81, of Fairhope, Belle Vernon, who was born in Braznell, Pa., highly decorated United States Army Veteran of World War II, died Memorial Day, Monday, May 28, 2001, in Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Aspinwall Division, Pittsburgh, Pa.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Sokol Koslasky; children: Robert Koslasky and Miss Lorraine Koslasky both of Fairhope, Belle Vernon, Pa.; and a sister, Julia Koslasky Poloski of Lynnwood, Belle Vernon, Pa.
Friends will be received at the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home Inc., 334 Main Street, Fayette City, Pa., on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, May 31, until 1 p.m.

George A. Lilley
George A. Lilley, 59, of Republic, Pa., died Sunday, May 27, 2001, in West Penn Allegheny Health System, Allegheny General, Pittsburgh, Pa.
He is survived by three children: George Lilley Jr. of Thompson One, Pa., and John Lilley of Republic, Pa.; several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the Skirpan Funeral Home, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., today, May 29, from 9 a.m. until 11 am.

Joseph J. Louie
Joseph J. Louie, 77, of Uniontown, Pa., died Sunday, May 27, 2001, in Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa.
He was born January 4, 1924, in Fairbanks, Pa., son of Joseph Louie and Marie Emma Pahula Louie.
Mr. Louie was a member of St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church and also American Legion Post 51 in Uniontown, Pa.
His wife, Helen Opalko Louie, his infant daughter, Mary Louise Louie, and his parents precede him in death.
He is survived by three sons: Joseph C. Louie and his wife, Bobbi, of High House, Pa., Charles A. Louie and John E. Louie both of Uniontown, Pa.; a sister, Helen Braznok of Filbert, Pa.; a stepbrother, Charles Louis of Boston, Massachusetts; a stepsister, Sister Joan Louis of Philadelphia, Pa.; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOMES INC., 139 West Fayette Street, Uniontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, May 30, until 11 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held.
Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fairchance, Pa., where Full Military Honors will be accorded by Uniontown American Legion Post 51.

Elizabeth G. Lovall
Elizabeth Gaskill Lovall, 78, of Uniontown, Pa., died Memorial Day, May 28, 2001, in Uniontown Hospital.
She is survived by three daughters: Deanna and her husband, Donald Bittner, Shella and her husband, Ronald Freeland, and Kathy and her husband, John Mayfield, all of Uniontown, Pa.
Arrangements will be announced by the Jerome W. Shell Funeral Home, 164 South Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, Pa.

Helen Mihalko McNosky
Helen P. Mihalko McNosky, 87, of Connellsville, who was born in Adelaide, Pa., former waitress at The Slovak Club in Connellsville, died Sunday, May 27, 2001, in Harmon House, Mount Pleasant.
She is survived by two sisters: Mary Mihalko and Veronica "Bertha" Mihalko Nowicki both of Connellsville; several nieces and nephews; 22 greatnieces and greatnephews; and 16 great-greatnieces and great-greatnephews.
Friends will be received in the Paul G. Fink Funeral Home Inc., 418 North Pittsburgh Street, Connellsville, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Thursday, May 31, until 9:30 a.m.

Juanita Warner Miller
Juanita V. Warner Miller, 88, of Masontown, Fayette County, Pa., who was born in Elizabeth, Pa., retired garment worker from Greenway Company in Waynesburg and former beautician in Carmichaels and Jefferson, Pa., died Sunday, May 27, 2001, in Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg, Pa.
She is survived by a sister, Sara Warner Paczek of Butler, Pa.
Friends will be received at the Paul Michael Lesako Funeral Home Inc., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, May 30, until 1 p.m.

Anna Dragone Mirto
Anna Dragone Mirto, 76, of Stratford, Connecticut, died peacefully Sunday, May 27, 2001, at her residence.
She was born April 10, 1925, in Uniontown, Pa., daughter of Vito Dragone and Margaret LaBella Dragone.
Anna retired from Bryant Electric Company with more than 39 years of service.
She was a member and past Vice President of the St. James Seniors and a member of Bryant Electric Retirees Club.
Two brothers, Carmen Dragone and Anthony "Tony" Dragone, and her parents preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons: Matthew Mirto Jr. and his wife, Lorraine, of Shelton, Connecticut, and John Vito Mirto of Stratford, Connecticut; two brothers: Vito Dragone Jr. and Joseph Dragone both of Uniontown, Pa.; two sisters: Sandra Dragone Filcheck and Ernestine Dragone Maiolo both of Richmond, Virginia; two grandchildren: Wendy Ann and her husband, Michael Hiltz, and Matthew Mirto III and his wife, Jennifer; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the ABRIOLA PARKVIEW FUNERAL HOME, 410 White Plains Road, Trumbull, Connecticut, today from 4 to 7 p.m.
Friends are invited to meet at St. James Catholic Church, 2110 Main Street, Stratford, Connecticut, on Wednesday, May 30, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m.
Interment will follow in Lawn Cemetery, Huntington, Connecticut.
In lieu of flowers those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, 372 Danbury Road, Suite 159, Wilton, CT 06897.

Anna Timko Mizerak
Anna F. Timko Mizerak, 85, of Richeyville, Pa., died at 4:52 p.m. Saturday, May 26, 2001, in Washington Hospital, Washington, Pa.
She was born April 14, 1916, in Daisytown, Pa., daughter of John Timko and Helen Kuckuc Timko.
Anna was a member of St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church in Richeyville, Jednota Lodge No. 255, and Ladies Auxiliary of Hancock-McCune-Horne American Legion Post 705 in Centerville, Pa.
On June 5, 1939, she married Steve Mizerak Sr. He died October 5, 1990. Also deceased are a sister, Pauline Kime, and her parents.
She is survived by three sons: Steve Mizerak Jr. of Richeyville, John Mizerak of Brownsville, Pal., and Joseph Mizerak of Uniontown, Pa.; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four sisters: Mary Sabo of Mechanicsburg, Pa., Helen Stecko of Richeyville, Irene Vivian of Monessen, Pa., and Dorothy Dancheck of Richeyville; several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 2830 Main Street, Route 40, Beallsville, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where a Blessing Service will be held Wednesday, May 30, at 10 a.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 10:30 in St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Richeyville, with Rev. Fr. Edward S. Litavec as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Coal Center.
Parish Vigil will be held in the Funeral Home today at 8:30 p.m.

David L. Newcomer
David L. Newcomer, 54, of Westfield, New Jersey, died Monday, May 28, 2001, in Overlook Hospital, Summit, New Jersey.
He was born May 22, 1947, in Uniontown, Pa., son of David E. Newcomer and Larna Byers Newcomer.
Besides his parents he is survived by his wife, Edie Russo Newcomer; two children: a daughter, Emily Newcomer of Utah and a son, Eric Newcomer and his fiancee, Alison Slaughter, of Colorado; his sisters: Patricia Kohrman and her husband, Richard, of Point Marion, Pa., and Jane Ruse and her husband, David, of Chalk Hill, Pa.; stepsons: Brian Russo and Travis Russo of Westfield, New Jersey; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services, which will be held at a later date, will be announced.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pa.
