MARY E. DANNER
Mary Esther Danner, 74, of the Kinkora Pythian Home, Duncannon, formerly of Liverpool RR 1, died Thursday, April 8, 1999 in Harrisburg Hospital.
She was born Feb. 6, 1925 in Steelton to the late William and Salome (Weaver) McDermott.
She retired as a parts inspector from IER Industries, was a former waitress for Friendly Tavern and a practical nurse at the former Snyder Convalescent Home; attended Steelton schools; a United Methodist; and a bingo enthusiast.
She was the widow of Enoch J. "Skip" Danner, who died March 30, 1979.
Surviving are a daughter, Ellen Stone of New Bloomfield RR 1; three sisters, Erma Zell of Elizabethtown, Bernice Hall of East Berlin and Stella McDermott of York; and one granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by five sisters, Neva Newlin, Edna Rollison, Bertha Russ, Florence Fishel and Ethel Campbell.
Services were held April 12 in Garman Funeral Home, Liverpool, with the Rev. Salvatore Buonocore officiating. Burial was in Liverpool Union Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Kinkora Pythian Home, Patient Activities Fund, 25 Cove Road, Duncannon 17020.

MARY E. DOYLE
Mary E. Doyle, 90, formerly of Wormleysburg, died Monday, June 28, 1999 at her daughter's home.
She was a member of Stevens Memorial United Methodist Church and Pride of White Block Lodge 411.
She was the widow of Alfred E. Doyle.
Surviving are a daughter, Vicki Kay Beaver of Saville Twp.; a brother, Charles Kreitzer of West Fairview; two sisters, Anna Mae Sherman of Harrisburg and Ellen Sherbrooke of Pelican Rapids, Minn.; a grandson; and two great-granddaughters.
Services were held July 1 in Musselman Funeral Home, Lemoyne. Burial was in Shoop's Cemetery, Lower Paxton Twp.

MIRIAM F. DUNCAN
Miriam F. Duncan, 77, of Airy View Road, Shermans Dale, died Monday, June 21, 1999 in Carlisle Hospital.
She was born April 19, 1922 in Marysville to the late Joseph and Clara (Ricedorf) Gamber.
She attended New Life Assembly of God Church, Landisburg RR 1.
She was the widow of Clarence S. Duncan.
Surviving are three sons, David G. of Loysville, Clarence S. II of Kenai, Alaska, and Maynard A. of Shermans Dale; three daughters, Helen Christopher of Mechanicsburg, Kathryn Dick of Carlisle and Vesta Harrold of Loysville; a sister, Olive Stone of Carlisle; a brother, Donald Gamber of Shermans Dale; 17 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Hoffman and Esther Baker.
Services were held June 24 in New Life Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Larry Bidwell officiating. Burial was in the church Cemetery.
Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, Carlisle, handled arrangements.

PINKNEY E. DAVIS
Pinkney E. Davis, 67, of Pisgah Road, Spring Twp., Shermans Dale, died Sunday, July 4, 1999 at home.
He was an electrician.
Surviving are a son, Joseph E. of Conyers, Ga.; two brothers, James of Illinois and Arthur of Florida; two sisters, Frances Surby of Oregon and Betty Gully of Arizona; and two granddaughters.
Graveside services were held July 7 in Bloomfield Cemetery.
Boyer Funeral Home, New Bloomfield, handled arrangements.

RALPH DEAVEN
Ralph Deaven, 84, of Duncannon RR 4 died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 1999 in Kinkora Pythian Home, Duncan-non.
He was a former owner of Hershocks Inc.; a former Central Dauphin Joint School Board member; a member of Penbrook United Church of Christ; and past president of the Central Pennsylvania Sub-Contractors Association.
He was the widower of Vera W. Deaven.
Surviving are two sons, Barry L. and Terry L., both of Duncannon; two sisters, Beulah B. Morgan of Camp Hill and Joyce Witmer of Penbrook; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 27 in his church. Burial was in Hill Church Cemetery, New Buffalo.
Hetrick Funeral Home, Harrisburg, handled arrangements.

WILLIAM C. DEHART JR.
William C. DeHart Jr., 58, of Marysville died Monday, Nov. 15, 1999 in Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg.
He was a former member of New Cumberland River Rescue, an avid Penn State football fan and enjoyed baseball and fishing.
Surviving are a son, Shawn M. of Marysville; a daughter, Stephanie E. Enriques of Fort Worth, Texas; two brothers, Paul L. Sr. of Mechanicsburg and Stewart E. of New Cumberland; three sisters, Joan M. Saul of Newberry Twp., Nancy Bender of Dauphin and Mary Neidig of Harrisburg; and four grandchildren.
Services were held Nov. 18 in Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland.

WILLIAM E. DAVIS JR.
William E. Davis Jr., 85, formerly of Marysville, died Sunday, Dec. 19, 1999 in Manor Healthcare East, Harrisburg.
He was a retired printer from the former Telegraph Press, Harrisburg; past president of the Susquenita School Board and the Marysville Lions Club; former member of the board of trustees of Harrisburg Area Community College; one of the founding members of the Perry County Endowment-Scholarship Fund at HACC; and a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Perry Lodge 458, F&AM, and Buehler Lodge, Knights of Pythias, all of Marysville, and Harrisburg Consistory.
He was the widower of Frances K. Carmichael Davis.
Surviving are a brother, Ralph Davis of Kentucky, and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Dec. 22 in Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville. Burial was in Perry Heights Cemetery, Marysville.

WILLIAM L. DROMGOLD
William Lynn "Drummy" Dromgold, 100, of Kinkora Pythian Home, Duncannon, died Saturday, Dec. 4, 1999 at the home.
He was born May 10, 1899 in Saville Twp. to the late Howard and J. Annie (Hench) Dromgold.
He was retired from Atlantic Richfield and was a former substitute mail carrier from the Duncannon Post Office. He was a graduate of New Bloomfield High School and attended Penn State University, studying electrical engineering.
He was a member of Duncannon's Otterbein United Methodist Church, a Sunday school teacher and superintendent for 22 years, choir member, former trustee and lay delegate; past president of Duncannon Borough Council; board member of Perry County Sunday School Association; member of Shermanata Grange and Harrisburg Rose Society; former chairman of Tri-County United Fund and camp director of Perry County Christian Endeavor; former EMT and driver for Duncannon EMS and in 1988 was the oldest EMT in the state; active in Boy Scouting in Duncannon for 72 years, former Boy Scoutmaster of Troop 64 for 42 years and scout committee coordinator; founder of Boy Scout Recycling Program; and re-cipient of the Silver Beaver Award in Scouting; and a great outdoorsman who climbed Peters Mountain in his 90s with the scouts.
He was the widower of Annie Myers Dromgold.
Surviving are a sister, Dorothy Mowrer of Lancaster, two grandsons, Karl Libhart of Boalsburg and William Libhart of Mountville; and three great-grandsons.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Virginia Libhart, and brothers and sisters.
Services were held Dec. 8 in his church with the Rev. Michael Brossman officiating. Burial was in Bloomfield Cemetery.
Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, handled arrangements.

WILLIAM F. DEMOSS
William F. DeMoss, 92, of Elliottsburg, formerly of Harrisburg, died Tuesday, May 11, 1999 at home.
He was retired from UGI, as an accounts officer; a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Mechanicsburg, for more than 70 years and served as deacon, teacher and the church's first selection as "Man of the Year"; and a member of UGI Golden Age Club.
He was the widower of Clara I. DeMoss.
Surviving are his son, W. Wayne DeMoss of Elliottsburg; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held May 15 in his church. Burial was in Shoop's Cemetery.
Kimmel Funeral Home, Harrisburg, handled arrangements.
