Born June 30, 1963, in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of Anne B. Brown Pryor of Waynesboro and the late Robert D. Pryor.

She was a 1982 graduate of Waynesboro Area Senior High School. In 1995, she graduated from Hagerstown Business College, with a degree in computerized accounting.

She most recently was employed by Crest Realty, Chambersburg, as a secretary. She previously had been employed as a secretary at Air Tech Products, Hagerstown, and at Regency Thermographers, Waynesboro, and Allen Envelopes, Hagerstown, as a press operator.

She attended Church of The Apostles, Rouzerville, Pa.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son, Michael Hunter Jr. of Waynesboro; a sister, Deborah Weddle of Waynesboro; a brother, Wallace Pryor of Waynesboro; three half brothers; a half sister; nieces; nephews; and cousins.

Memorial services will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at Church of the Apostles, 336 Barnett Ave., Rouzerville.

The family requests the omission of flowers.

Memorial donations may be made to the family, c/o Anne Pryor, 334 W. Second St., Waynesboro, Pa. 17268.

Arrangements are by Cumberland Valley Crematory, Waynesboro.

Naomi E. Miner

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Naomi E. Miner, 98, a resident of Shook Home, and formerly of 233 Ramsey Ave., Chambersburg, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 1998, at Shook Home.

Born March 9, 1900, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Sarah Fulton McCans.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Miner, in 1976.

She was employed by Wilson College, Chambersburg, for a number of years.

She was a member of Chambersburg Bible Church, Chambersburg.

She was a member of Rose Society; and AARP.

She is survived by three sons, John A. Miner of Fayetteville, Pa., Walter E. Miner of Chambersburg and Harold E. Miner of Greensburg, Pa.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters; and two brothers.

Private graveside services will be held Sunday at Norland Cemetery, Chambersburg. The Rev. John R. Springer will officiate. Burial will be in Norland Cemetery, Chambersburg.

There will be no viewing.

The family requests the omission of flowers.

Memorial donations may be made to Chambersburg Bible Church, 810 Orchard Drive, Chambersburg, Pa. 17201.

Charles V. McFerren

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Charles V. "Jack" McFerren, 90, of 41 N. Phillips Ave., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 1998, in Quincy United Methodist Home.

Born Oct. 4, 1908, in Mont Alto, Pa., he was the son of the late Charles W. and Addie Verdier McFerren.

He was employed as a machinist for Crown, Cork and Seal Co. in Baltimore, then worked at Landis Tool Co. in Waynesboro, retiring in 1969.

He was a life member of ATH and L Fire Department in Waynesboro.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Janet G. Walters McFerren, whom he married in 1933; one daughter, Nancy E. Scriniere of Palmyra, Pa.; two sons, James N. McFerren of Cub Run, Ky., and Charles E. McFerren of Waynesboro; two sisters, Madeline Ankerbrand and Elizabeth Steiner, both of Waynesboro; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three sisters, Clorinda Clepper, Gertrude Birely and Margaret McFerren; and one brother, Arthur McFerren.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Burns Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.

The family requests the omission of flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to Quincy United Methodist Home, Benevolent Fund, P.O. Box 128, Quincy, Pa. 17247.

Raymond E. Jaymes

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Raymond E. Jaymes, 77, of 129 Highland Road, and formerly of Burnt Cabins, Pa., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Tuesday, Oct. 27, 1998, at Chambersburg Hospital.

Born May 11, 1921, in Shade Gap, Pa., he was the son of the late Harry J. and Alice L. Gumbert Jaymes.

He worked at Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg as an instrument repair technician. He retired in 1973, after 24 years of service.

He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps.

He was a member of Church of the Nazarene, Orbisonia, Pa.

He was a life member of Patriotic Sons of America 645, Orrstown, Pa.; and a life member of Charles W. McCleary Post 78, DAV, Chambersburg.

He is survived by his wife, M. Jean Glunt Jaymes, whom he married March 30, 1947; a daughter, Karen J. Purgason of Harrisburg, Pa.; three sons, Steven E. Jaymes of Chambersburg, Glenn L. Jaymes of Burnt Cabins and Keith R. Jaymes of Langley, Va.; three sisters, Dorothy C. Browand of Camp Hill, Pa., Phyllis E. Kyzer of Shade Gap and Eleanor G. Browand of Dillsburg, Pa.; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Kent J. Jaymes; a grandson, Jeremiah L. Jaymes; and two sisters, Louella N. Anderson and Margaret E. Pool.

Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. Darrell Nicklow, the Rev. Richard Vandervort and the Rev. Todd Risser will officiate. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery, Chambersburg.

The viewing will be Friday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to Patriotic Sons of America 645, Washington Camp, Main Street, Orrstown, Pa. 17244.

Mark F. Minnich

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Mark F. Minnich, 77 formerly of 25 N. Born Feb. 26, 1921, in Waynesboro, he was the son of the late Christian H. and Mary Rossman Minnich.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth M. Buhrman Minnich, in 1986. They were married in March 1958.

He had been employed as a machinist by Boeing Aircraft in Chester, Pa.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He was of the Lutheran faith.

He was a member of Disabled Vets and Order of the Owls Nest 1073 in Waynesboro.

He is survived by one sister, Clemma Cordell of Waynesboro; one brother, Allen Minnich of Waynesboro; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three sisters, Elizabeth L. Powell, Mary V. Izer and Helyn I. Doyle; and five brothers, J. Edward Minnich, Ralph Daniel Minnich, Joseph R. Minnich, Walter C. Minnich and Christian H. Minnich.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are by Grove Funeral Home, Waynesboro.
