Helen Lewicki Shaw
Helen Shaw, 86, formerly of 2622 Post Ave., Erie, died Monday, Jan. 26, 1998, at Sarah Reed Retirement Center.
She was born in Poland on March 16, 1911, daughter of the late Walter and Mary Ann (Czarnak) Lewicki, and came to the Unite States at the age of 19.
She was a formal member of St. Peter Cathedral.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Anthony DeLeo and Jack D. Shaw, and by two brothers, Victor and Edmund Lewicki.
Survivors include a son, Edward S. DeLeo of Erie; a brother, Zygmund Lewicki of Tacoma, Wash.; 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Brugger Home for Funerals, West 38th Street at Greengarden Boulevard, Tuesday from noon until a service at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Joseph P. Reigel officiating.
Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial may be made to the Erie Center for the Blind and Visually Handicapped, 2402 Cherry St., 16502.

Walter A. Davidson
Walter A. Davidson, 74, formerly of Andover, Ohio, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 1998, at the Erie Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
He was born in Andover, Dec. 5, 1923.
He served with the U.S. Army during World War II.
He is survived by three brothers, Larry, Robert and Harold Davidson, all of Erie.
There will be no calling hours.
Burial with full military honors will be at the Bath National Cemetery, Bath, N.Y., Monday at 10:30 a.m.
The Carl A. Slomski & Son Funeral Home Inc., East 21st & Ash streets is in charge of arrangements.

Russell F. Graziano
Russell F. Graziano, 84, 3334 W. 42nd St., died Saturday, Jan. 24, 1998, at the Rolingfield Nursing Home in Conneautville.
He was born in Carbondale, Pa., March 13, 1913, son of the late Frank and Rose Falbo Graziano.
Mr. Graziano worked during World War II at the Jarecki Manufacturing Shipyards. He also was employed as a set-up man at Marx Toys.
He was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, the International Union of Operating Engineers, Calabrese Club, and St. Paul's Lutheran Church Senior Citizens.
He was an avid fisherman and hunter.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Vona Graziano, on Nov. 10, 1997.
Survivors include two daughters, Roseanne Rundquist and her husband, Carl, and Audrey Jamison and her husband, Lee, all of Erie; two sons, Frank A. Graziano and his wife, Jean, and James R. Graziano and his wife, Janet, all of Erie; two sisters, Theresa Wilcox of Washburn, Maine, and Angeline Nakonechni of Carbondale; a brother, Vincent Graziano of Eynon, Pa.; 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Francis V. Kloecker Funeral Home, West 25th and Sassafras streets, Monday from 7 to 9 p.m., and Tuesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. A prayer service will be held there Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at St. Paul Church, 1617 Walnut St., at 10.
Burial will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 823 Filmore Ave., Erie, PA 16505.

Jeane Nejman
Jeane Nejman, 84, formerly of Friendship Towers, died Saturday, Jan. 24, 1998, at Pleasant Ridge Manor West.
She was born in Erie, Nov. 12, 1913, a daughter of the late Anthony and Josephine Witkowski Nejman. Miss Nejman was a former employee of the May Co. of Cleveland, Ohio, and a member of St. Stanislaus Parish. She had been a volunteer for the City Mission.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Jennie Mileski and Helen Nejman; and two brothers, Walter Nejman and John Newman.
She is survived by two brothers, Anthony Nejman and Stanley Nejman, both of Erie; and nieces and nephews.
No calling hours will be observed. Relatives and friends may attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church Monday at 1 p.m.
Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
The Edward J. Garr Funeral Home, 459 East 12th Street, is in charge of arrangements.

Edward Joseph Schenker Jr.
CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS - Edward Joseph Schenker Jr., 69, 516 Venango Ave., Cambridge Springs, and formerly of Erie, died Friday, Jan. 23, 1998, at Oakland Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Pittsburgh, following an illness of six months.
He was born in Erie, Aug. 14, 1928, a son of the Late Edward J. and Margaret Wax Schenker.
A career, military man, he served with the U.S. Army and the National Guard for 40 years, retiring in 1988 as a Captain. He was a veteran of both the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was a lifetime member of both the Venango Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 169 and American Legion Post 381 in Cambridge Springs. He had served as treasurer of Post 381.
He is survived by a good friend, Eldora Conaway of Cambridge Springs, and a sister, Charlotte Mann of Erie.
Friends may call at the Van Matre Funeral Home, 335 Venango Ave., Cambridge Springs, Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Cambridge Springs, Tuesday at 10 a.m. The Rev. Robert Bower will officiate.
Burial will be in Venango Cemetery.

Charles D. Spacht
Charles D. Spacht, 95, a resident of Mount St. Benedict, and formerly of 1337 Duncan Road, North East, died at his home Friday, Jan. 23, 1998.
He was born on April 4, 1902, in North East, a son of the late Joseph and Margaret Ott Spacht.
Mr. Spacht had been a resident of Mount St. Benedict for six years. He worked for General Electric Co. for 30 years, retiring in 1964, and was a self-employed fruit farmer. After his retirement he was a self-employed truck driver and worked for Grape City Beer Co. from 1971-91. He was a member of the GE Quarter Century Club.
He was a parishioner of St. Gregory Catholic Church, and an usher there for 72 years. He was a Redemptorist Oblate and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
The North East Exchange Club presented Mr. Spacht and his wife with its Book of Golden Deeds. He was an honorary member of Farmers FFA and was one of the oldest bowlers in the local Monday night league. He was an Erie County Democratic committeeman in North East for several years.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Elizabeth Porter "Betty" Spacht, in 1995; a son, Robert J. Spacht; four grandchildren, Karen, Debra, James and Andrew Spacht; six sisters, Catherine Marshall, Frances Hartman, Marie MacDonald, Theresa Meahl, Agnes Maille and Louise Spacht; and two brothers, Joseph and Alphonso Spacht.
He is survived by two daughters, Jean Henches of Stratford, Conn., and Sister Irene Spacht, OSB, of Harborcreek; four sons, John C. "Jack" Spacht, Carl F. Spacht and his wife, Joan, and Merle W. Spacht and his wife, Edith, all of North East, and the Rev. Harold A. Spacht, CSSR, of Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico; 21 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake St., North East, today from 1 to 5 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Mount St. Benedict on Monday at 5:30 p.m. The Rev. Harold Spacht will be the main celebrant.
Private burial will be at St. Gregory Cemetery.

The Rev. Dr. Dale K. Milligan
PITTSBURGH - The Rev. Dr. Dale K. Milligan, 73, of Pittsburgh, died Friday, Jan. 23, 1998.
He served as senior pastor in six Presbyterian churches and created the Pittsburgh Panorama in the late 1960s. He was named Pittsburgh's Man of the Year in Religion in 1963. He served on the General Council of the Presbyterian General Assembly, the General Council and Executive Committee of the Synod of the Trinity. He chaired the Stewardship, Mission and Evangelism committees of the Presbytery and the Synod. He initiated the Kerygma Adult Bible Study Program.
He became president and executive director of the LOGOS System Associates in 1982, extending the program to India and Russia. He personally taught university students in Belarus at the invitation of the Russian Orthodox Church. The LOGOS System now exists in 23 different denominations in the United States and other countries.
He is survived by four daughters, Deborah Freeman and her husband Scott of Albuquerque, N.M., Kathleen Milligan of Kitty Hawk, N.C., The Rev. Laurie Milligan of Ripley, N.Y., and Rebecca Little and her husband Michael of Penn Hills; three brothers, The Rev. Bruce Milligan, Floyd Milligan and Dr. Merle Milligan; a sister, Ethel Bailey; and five grandchildren, Rebekah and Jonathon Dale Freeman and Tyler, Megan and Abbey Little.
No calling hours will be observed.
A memorial service will be held at the Beulah Presbyterian Church, Churchill, Friday at 5:30 p.m. The family will receive friends after the service.

Arrangements are by Wolfe Memorial Inc., Pittsburgh.

Ida Kollman Zunegg Mittelmeier
Ida Kollman Zunegg Mittelmeier, 86, of 517 Maryland Ave., died Friday, Jan. 23, 1998, at home.
She was born in Graz, Austria, Jan. 28, 1911, a daughter of the late Karl and Josefa Bruckner Kollman.
She worked at Kollman Manufacturing, later known as Ridgid-Kollman Manufacturing until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oskar Zunegg; a brother, Karl Kollman; and a sister, Anna Wedinig.
She is survived by a son, Harald O. "Harry" Zunegg of Graz; a sister, Josephine Kwiatek of Erie; three grandchildren, Harald Zunegg, Andrea Zunegg and Evelyn Simon; a great-granddaughter; two nieces; and several great-nieces.
Friends may attend a memorial service Monday at 3 p.m. at the Burton West Lake Funeral Home, 3816 West Lake Road. The Rev. John Detisch of Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church will officiate.
