FOSTER R. McNAIR
Foster R. McNair, 8O, of Mt. Pleasant, died Friday, Nov. 26, 1999. Friends will be received in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 406 E. Washington St., Mt. Pleasant, Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Lloyd R. Chesnut officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

JOSEPH PEDICONE
Joseph Pedicone, 66, of Thomas, W.Va., died Friday, Nov. 26, 1999. He was born April 5, 1933, in Greensburg, a son of the late August and Bessie Zello Christopher Pedicone. He was also predeceased by a sister, Theresa Daverse; and two brothers, Lt. Henry Pedicone and Carmen Pedicone. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Pedicone; five sons, Joseph, Michael, Mark, Matthew and Max; two stepsons; sisters, Mary Ann Sikora and husband, Adam, of Greensburg, Genevieve Loncharich of Greensburg, Angeline Schultz and husband, Morris, of Acme, Nancy Capasso and husband, Alex, of Greensburg and Florence Gray and husband, Walter, of Ruffsdale; brothers, Frank Pedicone and wife, Pearl, of South Greensburg, Vincent Capozzi and wife, Virginia, of Greensburg, Robert Capozzi and wife, Marlea, of South Carolina, and Richard Capozzi and wife, Julie, of Harrison City; two stepbrothers; and four stepsisters. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 6 p.m. at BARB'S FUNERAL HOME in Parsons, W.Va., where service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment in Mt. Rose Cemetery, Mt. Rose, W.Va.

EARL H. HENKEL SR.
Earl H. Henkel Sr., 80, of Mt. Pleasant, died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 1999, in Harmon House Convalescent Center, Mt. Pleasant. He was born July 9, 1919, in Pennsville, a son of the late Henry and Bertha Swain Henkel. Mr. Henkel was a coal miner for more than 47 years for U.S. Steel, Maple Creek Mine, and was a member of the United Mine Workers of America. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jane Rodgers Henkel, in 1998. He is survived by his children, Earl H. Henkel Jr. and his wife, Malinda, of Mt. Pleasant and Robert A. Henkel of Arizona; and two grandsons, David and Scott Henkel of Connecticut. Mr. Henkel was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Hours of visitation were private. Private services were officiated by Dr. Terry V. Murray. Interment Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville. Arrangements by GALONE-CARUSO'S, Mt. Pleasant.

GOLDIE MARIE SHOAF
Goldie Marie Shoaf, 92, of Panama City, Fla., died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 1999, in Panama City Nursing Center, Panama City, Fla. She was born Feb. 1, 1907, in Youngwood, a daughter of the late John and Edith Todd Eichner. She was Presbyterian by faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Wilbert DeArmitt; a son, William DeArmitt; two brothers, Robert and Eugene Eichner; and two sisters, Lilly Ross and Loretta DeArmitt. She is survived by her second husband, Harry E. Shoaf of Panama City, Fla.; three sons, Wilbert DeArmitt and wife, Betty, of Texarkana, Texas, Harry C. Shoaf and wife, Sue, of Seattle, Wash., and David T. Shoaf and wife, Denise, of Panama City, Fla.; four daughters, Katherine Fennell of Kirkland, Ohio, Edith Hesser and husband, Jerry, of Willoughby, Ohio, Deliah Evans and husband, Ed, of Perry, Ohio, and Doris Matos Titi of Geneva, Ohio; and many grandchildren. Friends will be received in the JAY B. PETERSON FUNERAL HOME, 408 Depot St., Youngwood, Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. Her funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Dennis J. Hoffman officiating. Interment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery, Hempfield Township. Eugene G. Saloom, funeral director, in charge.

JOAN MARY DELLAPENNA
Joan Mary Dellapenna, 62, of Tampa, Fla., formerly of North Huntingdon, died Friday, Nov. 26, 1999, at her son's home in Tampa. She was born Sept. 12, 1937, in Elizabeth, N.J., a daughter of the late Leroy and Mary (Mack) Crist. Joan was a homemaker and a former member of St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, North Huntingdon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Charles P. "Chuck" Dellapenna Jr., on Oct. 9, 1998. Mrs. Dellapenna is survived by three sons, Paul Butterly and his wife, Mary Ellen, of Rahway, N.J., Michael Butterly and his wife, Nanette, of Tampa, Fla., and David Butterly and his wife, Joshanna, of Boca Raton, Fla.; a stepson, Steven Dellapenna of Altoona; a daughter, Joanne Kavulick and her husband, Adam, of Greensburg; a stepdaughter, Beverly Polite of New Jersey; six grandchildren and her granddaughter, Megan Butterly, whom she raised; seven stepgrandchildren; two brothers, Joseph and James Crist, both of New Jersey; three sisters, Barbara Rinebold, Gloria Shields, and Roberta Hoffman, all of New Jersey; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the JOSEPH W. NICKELS FUNERAL HOME INC., Herminie, Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, North Huntingdon. Interment will follow in the Irwin Union Cemetery.

MARY R. DIVELEY PRITTS
Mary R. Diveley Pritts, 81, of Mt. Pleasant, died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 1999, in Mt. Gilead, Ohio. She was born Sept. 12, 1918, in Aberdeen, S.D., a daughter of the late Merl D. and Gladys Njos Diveley. She was a member of Mt. Joy Church of the Brethren. Mary was a graduate of Meyersdale High School, Class of 1936. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold O. Pritts, in 1984; and a brother, Merl D. Diveley, in 1997. She is survived by two sons, Wayne Pritts of Villa Ridge, Mo., and Merl Pritts and wife, Fay, of Mt. Pleasant; a daughter, Karen Goswick and husband, Arthur, of Mt. Gilead, Ohio; a brother, Victor E. Diveley and wife, Priscilla, of North Scituate, R.I.; three sisters, Esther Johnson of Garrett, Pa., Betty Bungard of Meyersdale, Pa., and Helen Wagner of Salisbury, Pa.; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends were received in the EUGENE G. SALOOM FUNERAL HOME INC., Main Street, Mt. Pleasant, Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and will be received Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Her funeral service will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Durward E. Hays and the Rev. Charles D. Whipple co-officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Joy Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant.

JOHN E. RALPH JR.
John E. "Jack" Ralph Jr., 81, of Boca Raton, Fla., formerly of Irwin, died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 1999, at his residence. Born Nov. 21, 1917, in Irwin, he was a son of the late John Elias Sr. and Ann (Hrabak) Ralph. He was treasurer of U.S. Steel Corp. He was past president of the Association of American Railroads Treasury Offices, Citizens Crime Watch and Good Fellowship Club. He was trustee of Robert Morris College in Pittsburgh, a 32nd Degree Mason, life member of Syria Temple Shrine and Shidle Lodge #601, and was elder of the Presbyterian Church in Pompano Beach, Fla., and Irwin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Sarah (Bailey) Ralph, who died in 1978; and his second wife, Dorothy (Johns) Ralph, who died in 1992. Surviving are a sister, Betty R. Donaldson of Wisconsin; a daughter-in-law, Hanna Barker of Boca Raton, Fla.; an aunt, Lula Ralph of Pennsylvania; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the VINCENT V. RODGERS FUNERAL HOME, 805 Pennsylvania Ave., Irwin, Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Robert C. Hill officiating. Interment in Irwin Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Irwin.

HARRISON A. FARREN
Harrison A. Farren, 88, of Youngwood, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 1999. He was born June 24, 1911, in Derry, the son of the late John and Mary Ruffner Farren. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Army, and was retired from Robert Shaw Controls. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Senior Citizens and Council, and past president of the Men's Club, all of the church. Also, he was a member and past master of Philanthropy Lodge #225; a 33rd Degree member of the Valley of Pittsburgh, Urania Chapter; a member of the Olivet Council; Kedron Commandery; secretary of the Greensburg Caravan #8 of the Syrian Temple; Red Cross of Constantine-Johnstown; Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Westmoreland Forest; Joshua Association Southwestern Pa.; Conemaugh Gap York Rite College; Lions Club of Youngwood; a charter member of the Youngwood Historical and Railroad Association; VFW Post #211; and Armbrust Veteran's Association. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ada F. Ross Farren, in 1991; and two sisters, Cleo Farren, in 1917, and Hazel I. Lopes, in 1966. He is survived by nieces and nephews, Connie Ross Sachs of Hunker RD1, Lynn Lopes of Youngstown, Pa., Kay Byers Spriggs of Johnstown, Scott Ross of Fort Payne, Ala., Diane Ross Buchman and James F. "J.R." Ross, both of Greensburg; and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the C. RICHARD McCAULEY FUNERAL HOME INC., Youngwood, where service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. Merritt Edner officiating. Interment Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg. Masonic service Monday at 7 p.m. and Lions Club service at 8 p.m., both in the funeral home.
