EUGENE J. WISNEWSKI
Eugene J. "Geno" "Eudge" Wisnewski, 55, of Mt. Pleasant RD4 (Mt. Joy), died Friday, Jan. 28, 2000, at his home. He was born Dec. 22, 1944, in Mt. Pleasant, a son of the late Alexander V. and Rose J. Stanek Wisnewski. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Vietnam era. He was employed by Reboy Enterprise in Belle Vernon. He was a member of the Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church, Mt. Pleasant. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and motorcycling. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Alexander Jr. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Carol Tlumac Wisnewski; two children, Gene Wisnewski and his wife, Shelly, of Mt. Pleasant RD4 (Mt. Joy) and Kimberly Keffer and her husband, Lonnie, of Scottdale; his granddaughter, Morgan Wisnewski; step-granddaughter, Jessica Keffer; two brothers, Richard Wisnewski of Greenville and Charles Wisnewski of Virginia; four sisters, Mrs. John (Kathleen) Schurer of Scottdale, Mrs. Walter (Rosemary) Hudock of Mt. Pleasant, Mrs. Ralph (Joan) Sterner of Murrysville and Mrs. Samuel (Maryann) Chury of York Run, Pa.; and nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Friends will be received at the JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, Norvelt, Sunday from 12 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church, Mt. Pleasant, with the Rev. Robert M. Washko as celebrant. Interment will follow in Transfiguration Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant. Military graveside services will be accorded. Sandra L. Hoffer, funeral director.

RALSTON T. WRIGHT
Ralston T. "Buzz" Wright, 71, of Southwest Greensburg, died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2000, in Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. He was born Sept. 4, 1928, in Duquesne, the son of the late Ralston E. and Marion March Wright. Prior to his disability, he had been employed by the G.C. Murphy Co., McKeesport. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vern C. McElhinny Wright, on May 6, 1999. He is survived by a son, David P. and his wife, Brenda Porch Wright, of Southwest Greensburg; his pride and joy, granddaughter Courtney Wright of Southwest Greensburg; a sister, Dolores "Dolly" and her husband, R.J. Livingston, of Pittsburgh; an aunt, Helen Boyd of Cincinnati, Ohio; a brother-in-law, Clair A. and his wife, Marilyn McElhinny, of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton at Green streets, Greensburg, Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Additional visitation will be held Monday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., the time of service in the funeral home with the Rev. David J. Ackerman officiating. Interment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery, Hempfield Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Westmoreland Regional Hospital Foundation, 532 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601.

JOSEPH E. CHANOSKI
Joseph E. Chanoski, 87, of Jeannette, died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2000. He was born Feb. 7, 1912, in Claridge, a son of the late Michael and Amelia Shafran Chanoski. He first was employed by Westinghouse Electric in Trafford, and then he built and operated Penn Pub, Penn Heights Mobile Home Park and Joe's Dairy Barn. He was also a building contractor. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Church, B.P.O.E. #486 and the Polish Brotherhood of White Eagle, all of Jeannette. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, John, Peter, Anthony, Martin and Frank Chanoski; and three sisters, Rose Ludwig, Catherine Chanoski and Mary Michalik. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Josephine Sudol Chanoski; two daughters, Judy Harchelroad and her husband, Gene, and Sally Litrun and her husband, Michael "Mickey," all of Jeannette; four grandchildren, Gene Harchelroad and his wife, Susan, Jessica Thomas and her husband, Michael, Shawn Litrun and his wife, Natalie, and Jamie Litrun; two great-grandchildren, Bradley Thomas and Olivia Litrun; a sister, Ann Ruschaupt of Manor; a brother, George Chanoski of Mission Viejo, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME INC., 201 N. First St., Jeannette, Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at noon in the Sacred Heart Church, Jeannette. Entombment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.

JOSEPH W. KIMBEL
Joseph W. Kimbel, 79, a resident of Scottdale since 1959, died Friday evening, Jan. 28, 2000, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born Sept. 28, 1920, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Joseph P. and Freda Kraft Kimbel. Joe was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Scottdale. He was employed as an electrician prior to his retirement from the former Modulus Corp. of Mt. Pleasant, with 42 years of service. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Army serving in Europe during World War II, and was a recipient of the Purple Heart for wounds received in action. An avid hunter, he was a member of the National Rifle Association, and was part owner of the "Big Six" hunting cabin in Forrest County. Joe was a member of the Scottdale Independent Italian Club, the Scottdale Moose, and the B.P.O.E. Lodge 777 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7781, both of Scottdale. Joe leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Louise Zotter Kimbel, with whom he celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary on April 28, 1999; a daughter, Joanne E. Whitfield of New Stanton; four grandchildren, Jay "Thomas" Whitfield Jr., Joseph Whitfield, Jacqueline Boggs and James Whitfield; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Howard Kimbel of Pittsburgh; and two sisters, Margaret Born and her husband, James, of North Versailles, and Eleanor Donahue of North Versailles. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Carol and Elizabeth Kimbel; and a brother, Robert Kimbel. Joe's family will receive friends Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the FRANK KAPR FUNERAL HOME INC., 417 W. Pittsburgh St., Scottdale. A parish rosary will be recited at 2 p.m. and a parish wake service will be held at 7 p.m., both Monday in the funeral home. The Scottdale VFW Post 7781 will conduct military honors at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. A blessing service will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Scottdale, with the Rev. Emil S. Payer as celebrant. Entombment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery, Colonial Chapel Mausoleum, Hempfield Township.

ANDREW KONDOR
Andrew Kondor, 90, of North Huntingdon, died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2000, in Jeannette District Memorial Hospital. He was born Jan. 20, 1910, in Versailles, a son of the late Joseph and Martha Szender Kondor. He was a member of the Transfiguration of Our Lord Church in McKeesport. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by National Tube Works, McKeesport. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Holly Kondor; two brothers, George and Joseph Kondor; and two sisters, Mary Klimchock and Margaret Derkas. He is survived by his wife, Olga Rinkacs Kondor; two sons, Eugene of North Huntingdon and Larry of Coraopolis; three daughters, Pat Kondor and Elizabeth Kondor, both of McKeesport, and Helen Wampler of Newell, W.Va.; six sisters, Irene Petrulis, Martha Balog and Betty Jacobs, all of McKeesport, Dolores Harkovich of Munhall, Theresa Oros of Ravenna, Ohio, and Helen Brown of Ohio; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the SHIRLEY-KUKICH FUNERAL HOME INC., Clay Pike, Circleville, North Huntingdon, Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Father John Cuccaro officiating, followed by interment in New St. Joseph Cemetery, North Versailles.

JOHN J. KROL
John J. Krol, 80, of Scottdale, passed away early Saturday morning, Jan. 29, 2000, at Dottie's Personal Care Home, East Huntingdon Township. John was born in Everson on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 1919, a son of the late Michael and Katherine Sikon Krol. John was a longtime resident of Scottdale and had been employed by Frick Hospital as an orderly, retiring with 40 years of service. He was also a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Everson. John was a former member of both the Everson Polish American Club and the Mt. Pleasant Firemen's Club. John is survived by several cousins and many friends in the Scottdale and Everson area. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Krull. Family and friends will be received at the ROBERT B. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105 Spring St., Scottdale, (724) 887-5300, Sunday from noon to 2 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph R.C. Church, Everson, with the Rev. Father Dennis A. Bogusz as celebrant. Graveside committal services and interment will follow in the church Cemetery.

MARY VITONE
Mary Vitone, 88, of Mt. Pleasant, formerly of Greensburg, died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2000, in the Harmon House, Mt. Pleasant. She was born May 21, 1911, in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of the late Steven and Mary Zelenak Petrosky. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Vitone; and four brothers, Frank, Elmer, Ray and William Petrosky. She is survived by her son, Robert J. Eberhart and his wife, Nashalla, of Ligonier RD2; five grandchildren, George Eberhart and his wife, Louise, of Houston, Texas, Nashalla McCabe and her husband, James, of Bradenville, Roberta Jones and her husband, Robert, of Murrysville, Jody Eberhart of Ligonier and Oran Eberhart and his wife, Jill, of New York City, N.Y.; and two great-grandchildren, Tyler Steven and Jordan Tristan Eberhart. There will be no public visitation or services. BARNHART FUNERAL HOME, Greensburg, is in charge of arrangements.

WILLIAM H. BULLOCK
William H. "Ringo" Bullock, 66, of Export, formerly of Irwin, died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2000, in the Forbes Regional Health Center, Monroeville. He was born Dec. 21, 1933, in Westmoreland City, a son of the late Howard and Edna Stough Bullock. He was a retired auto body repairman, and a former employee of Helms Express, North Huntingdon. He was a former member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Irwin, and a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in the Korean conflict. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Howard D. Bullock. He is survived by the love of his life, Janet Morone of Irwin; two daughters, Jackie Lundy and her husband, Ron, and Tammy Brandt and her husband, Don; a son, William Bullock, all of Reno, Nev.; and three grandchildren, Duke Hawk Brandt, Dakota Shane Brandt, and Amber Frelin. There will be no viewing or local services. Arrangements by the WILLIAM SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, Irwin. "The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside still waters; he restores my soul. He leads me in right paths for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil; for you are with me; your rod and your staff-they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever."

MARY D. CARNERA
Mary D. Carnera, 86, of Adamsburg, died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2000, in the Jeannette District Memorial Hospital. She was born Dec. 4, 1913, in Italy, a daughter of the late Joseph and Concetta DiFonso Persichetti. She was a member of the Ascension Church, Jeannette, and the Jeannette American Legion Post 344 Women's Auxiliary. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Andrew Carnera, in 1992; and a brother, Louis Persichetti. She is survived by five sons, Andrew J. Carnera of Roanoke, Va., Thomas of Battlefield, Wash., James of Tampa, Fla., Robert and Joseph Carnera, both of Adamsburg; six daughters, Mrs. James (Lena Marie) Placik of San Diego, Calif., Mrs. James (Evelyn) Monticupo of Greensburg, Mrs. Charles (Dolores) Eberts of Tampa, Fla., Mrs. Norman (Sylvia) Tremfer of Palmyra, N.Y., Mrs. Richard (Donna) Norris of Fremont, Ohio, and Mrs. Joseph (Barbara) Yeckel of Penn; a sister, Mrs. Francis (Irene) Tanyer of Jeannette; 38 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the JOHN V. GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME INC., 228 N. Second St., Jeannette, beginning Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Ascension Church. Interment will follow in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Hempfield Township.

JOHN GRADISH
John Gradish, 85, of Latrobe, died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2000, in Latrobe Area Hospital. He was born Jan. 1, 1915, in Mammoth, a son of the late George and Sophie Labuda Gradish. He was a retired truck driver with the former Franko Trucking Co. and Brindle Trucking Co. He was also a retired bartender at a number of Latrobe clubs. He was a member of St. Joseph's Club, the Frontier Club, the Latrobe White Eagles, the VFW, the B.P.O.E. #907, and the Lloydsville Sportsmen's Association, all of Latrobe. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Anna Kozek Gradish; three brothers, Paul, Michael and George Gradish; and two sisters, Mary and Margaret Gradish. Survivors include a son, John M. Gradish and his wife, Margaret "Corky," of Latrobe; two daughters, Dorothy E. Zello and her husband, Nick, of Greensburg and Patricia Barchanowicz and her husband, Andrew, of Latrobe; and two sisters, Helen Gradish and Elizabeth Osif. Also survived by five grandchildren, Marcia Zello of San Francisco, Calif., Kathleen Zello Jenkins and husband, Griffin, of Washington, D.C., Christine Zello of Palm Beach, Fla., Louanne Hay of Atlanta, Ga., and Wendy Dollar of Latrobe; two great-granddaughters, Brandi Dollar and Amanda Dollar, both of Latrobe; and numerous nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by a special friend, George Felice. Friends will be received Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the JOHN J. LOPATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Vincent Basilica. Interment in Unity Cemetery, Unity Township.
