CATHERINE RODENZ STUCHAL
Catherine Rodenz Stuchal, of Adamsburg, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2000, in Jeannette District Memorial Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Peter and Mildred McWilliams Rodenz. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Michael, Paul and George Rodenz; and a sister, Ann King. She is survived by her husband, Clayton G. Stuchal Sr.; a daughter, Anna Marie Miller of Jeannette; and a son, Clayton G. Stuchal Jr. of Adamsburg. Also surviving are three brothers, John and Joseph Rodenz of Adamsburg and Nicholas Rodenz of Wendel; and a sister, Margaret Perillo of Lakewood, Calif. Friends will be received at the WILLIAM SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 521 Main St., Irwin, Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday in the funeral home at 11 a.m. with the Rev. R. Bruce Maxwell officiating. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.

LILLIAN L. TEDROW
Lillian L. Tedrow, 83, of Greensburg, died Friday, Feb. 18, 2000, at her home. She was born Oct. 11, 1916, in Loyalhanna, a daughter of the late Frank and Frances Belsan Kubat. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Greensburg, where she was active in the Altar Guild and had volunteered in the church nursery. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two infant brothers and 10 sisters, Anne Boehme, Mary Hacker, Emma Wellek, Rose Hoffman, Kathryn Winkler, Frances Hughes, Bertha Massimino, Agnes Cleveland, Helen Kubat and Pauline Breen. She is survived by her husband, Allen W. Tedrow; a son, Allen W. Tedrow Jr. and his wife, Dawn, of Youngwood; a daughter, Judy Humphrey and her husband, David, of Greensburg; three grandchildren, Jessica L. Humphrey, Kathleen E. Tedrow and James A. Tedrow; and a sister, Josephine Scaffardi of Latrobe. Friends will be received at the BARNHART FUNERAL HOME, 505 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the First Lutheran Church, Greensburg, with the Rev. E. Allen Scanlon and the Rev. Craig T. Hess co-officiating. Interment will follow in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park. Should friends desire, memorials may be placed with the First Lutheran Church, 246 S. Main St., Greensburg.

A. KNOX BASSETT
A. Knox Bassett, 80, of Murrysville, died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2000. He was born July 22, 1919, in Wilkinsburg, a son of the late James Guy and Mary Knox Bassett. He was a retired purchasing agent for Dravo Corp., Pittsburgh, with 42 years of service and was currently a tax consultant for Akman and Associates PC, Pittsburgh. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a member and treasurer of the Newlonsburg Presbyterian Church, Murrysville, and a member of the City Farmers Club. He is survived by his wife, Alvira Hart Bassett; two sons, Mark E. Bassett of Pasadena, Calif., and Ross Knox Bassett and his wife, Deborah, of Raleigh, N.C.; a daughter, Beth Craig and her husband, Robert, of Ellicott City, Md.; three grandchildren, Anna Bassett, Taylor Craig and Alexander Knox Craig; and a brother, James G. Bassett and his wife, Claire, of Murrysville. Visitation Sunday and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the JOHN T. HART FUNERAL HOME, Murrysville. A service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Newlonsburg Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Kenneth White and the Rev. Marnie Silbert co-officiating. Interment will follow in the Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont. If desired, memorials may be made to the Newlonsburg Presbyterian Church.

MILDRED VOICH
Mildred Voich, 88, of North Huntingdon, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2000, in the Briarcliff Pavilion, North Huntingdon. She was born July 6, 1911, in North Huntingdon, a daughter of the late Eli and Mary Bullick Voich. Prior to her retirement in 1974, she was employed as a supervisor for Pittsburgh Reflector of Irwin. She was a member of the Holy Ascension Serbian Orthodox Church of Youngwood. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Eli Jr., Fred, Peter, Joseph, George, and Nick; and a sister, Katherine Michlik. Surviving are two brothers, Robert and John Voich, both of North Huntingdon; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the JOSEPH F. OTT FUNERAL HOME INC., Fifth and Oak streets, Irwin, Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel and Pomen services will be held Friday at 8:30 p.m. with Father Adam Yonitch officiating all services. Interment will follow in the Irwin Union Cemetery, North Huntingdon.

LORETTA T. SMITH
Loretta T. Smith, 76, formerly of Penn, Pa., died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2000, in the Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. She was born Sept. 9, 1923, in Penn, a daughter of the late Joseph M. and Mary Cariss Tray. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a bookkeeper by the Excel Glass Co. of Jeannette. She was a member of the Penn Evangelical Lutheran Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William K. Smith; and two brothers, Joseph L. Tray and Francis Tray. Survived by a son, William J. Smith and wife, Toni, of Penn; a daughter, Janette Litrun and husband, James, of Champaign, Ill.; and a sister, Mrs. Lenore Hizer and husband, Robert, of Columbia, Mo. Also surviving are three grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME INC., 201 N. First St., Jeannette, Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted in the funeral home Saturday at 10:30 a.m. with her pastor, the Rev. Robert J. Marks, officiating. Interment will follow in the Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont. Family suggests memorial donations in care of Penn Evangelical Lutheran Church, Penn, PA 15675.

Shawn Ryan Deeds

Shawn Ryan Deeds, 25, of Bovard, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2001, in Clarion, as the result of an automobile accident. He was born March 5, 1976, in Greensburg, a son of I. James Deeds and Beverly Trout Deeds, both of Bovard. In addition to his parents, Shawn is survived by two brothers, Robert J. Wade Deeds of Jeffersonville, Ind., and James S. Deeds of Bovard; and a sister, Wendy D. Dunlevy and husband, Doug, of Mansfield, Mass. Friends will be received Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the BARNHART FUNERAL HOME, 505 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, where services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Chaplain Michael J. Poling officiating.

Ida Bevilacqua DelBianco

Ida Bevilacqua DelBianco, 79, of Rillton, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2001, in the Jeannette District Memorial Hospital. She was born Dec. 12, 1921, in Westmoreland City, a daughter of the late Anthony and Rose (DelPin) Bevilacqua. She was a member of St. Edward's Catholic Church, Herminie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Surmacz, and a brother, Anthony Bevilacqua. Surviving are her husband, John DelBianco; and a sister, Rose Bevilacqua of Westmoreland City. Viewing and services will be private. Carolyn Watt Donnelly

Carolyn Watt Donnelly, age 90, on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2001. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eugene R. Donnelly; brothers, John C. and Charles E. Watt; and sister, Katherine W. Donnelly. She is survived by sisters, Virginia W. Rial of Ben Avon, Miriam W. Foster of Greensburg and Elizabeth Ann Krall of Ross; a brother, Daniel H. Watt of Lehighton, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Donnelly was retired from Suburban General Hospital, where she had worked in the business office for over 25 years. She was a member of the Northminster Presbyterian Church, Suburban General Hospital Auxiliary and North Borough's Women's Club. An avid golfer, one of her proudest achievements was the hole-in-one she made on the Mt. Odin Park Golf Course in Greensburg. Friends invited Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the ORION C. PINKERTON FUNERAL HOME, INC., A Golden Rule Member Firm, 1014 California Ave., Avalon (North Boros), where funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Clair Cemetery in Hempfield Twp., Westmoreland County. Memorials are suggested to the Suburban Health Foundation, c/o Suburban General Hospital, 100 S. Jackson Avenue, Bellevue, PA 15202.

Joseph L. Farling

Joseph L. Farling, 74, of Jeannette, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2001, in his home. He was born May 21, 1927, in Grapeville, a son of the late John H. and Mabel L. Feld Farling. Prior to retirement, he had worked as a salesman. He was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Thelma Mae Gangle and June Matuke; and three brothers, Harry, Jack and Joe Farling. He is survived by his wife, Connie Farling of Mt. Lake Park, Md.; and a niece, Francine Hohn of Greensburg. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME INC., 201 N. First St., Jeannette, with Pastor Dale W. Roddy officiating. Interment will be private.

Sister Aniceta Gibson
Greensburg
Sister Aniceta Gibson, 82, of the Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill, died Monday, Oct. 22, 2001, at Caritas Christi, Greensburg. Born Sept. 16, 1919, in Crafton, a daughter of the late Merle and Catherine (Kuhn) Gibson, she was the eighth of 10 children. Sister Aniceta entered the Sisters of Charity on Sept. 8, 1946, from Holy Family Parish, Latrobe. For nearly 20 years, she taught children in elementary schools in the Dioceses of Pittsburgh, Altoona-Johnstown and Phoenix. Later she became a licensed practical nurse and served the sisters in the infirmary from 1967 through 1987, when she began her part-time nursing ministry. In retirement, she resided with the sisters in Greensburg, except when, for health reasons, she moved to Mt. St. Macrina in Uniontown. In 1999, she returned to Greensburg and continued to delight people with her ready laughter. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. John L. (Gertrude) Schwab of Southbury, Conn.; and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters, Edith Westerfer, Mary Jane Kattan, Sally Gibson, Bertha Gibson and Sister Rose Barbara Gibson, S.C.; and three brothers, Merle David Jr., William C. and Richard B. Gibson. She earned a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from Seton Hill College in 1963 and received her practical nurse's license in 1972. Friends received Tuesday and Wednesday from 1 to 6:45 p.m. in Caritas Christi, 459 Mt. Thor Road, Greensburg. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of the Assumption, Caritas Christi. Burial will be in the Sisters' Cemetery, Seton Hill. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sisters of Charity, DePaul Center, 463 Mt. Thor Road, Greensburg, PA 15601.
