Alice Sims Winningham, 94, of North Charleston, died April 21, 2003, in a North Charleston nursing home.
A graveside funeral service was held April 23, 2003 in Groomsville Baptist Church Cemetery in Moncks Corner.
Mrs. Winningham was born Nov. 5, 1908, in Dorchester County, the daughter of the late John B. Sims and Lily Lyons Sims. She attended schools in Dorchester County. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are her daughter, Lillian W. Irwin of Summerville; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson; and one great-great granddaughter. She was predeceased by her son, R.D. Winningham Jr. and her daughter, Alice C. Winningham.

Mrs. Briles died Feb. 27, 2007 at her residence. She was 79.

Mr. Green died March 2, 2007. He was 63.

Funeral services for Lt. Elmer G. Hunt of Summerville, S.C. were held at Stallsville United Methodist Church on March 4, 2007. Burial followed in Dorchester Memory Gardens.
Mr. Hunt died Feb. 28, 2007 at Trident Medical Center. He was 84.

Margaret B. Anderson, of Summerville, S.C. and formerly of Gastonville, Penn., died April 28, 2007 at a Charleston hospital. She was 96.

Mr. Dixon died Friday, April 27, 2007 at a Charleston hospital. He was 56.

Gary Clark Banks, Jr., 73, of Summerville, S.C., a former partner and retired executive of Banks Construction Company, died Monday afternoon, August 6, 2007.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today, August 8, at Bethany United Methodist Church in Summerville.

Cecil A. Fletcher of LaSalle, Mich. formerly of Summerville, died Sept. 26 2007, in Mercy Memorial Hospital, Monroe, Mich. He was 83.
Mr. Fletcher was born Aug. 7, 1924 in Brantford, Ontario. He was the son of George and Beryl (Mercer) Fletcher. He married Marion Siverns on July 4, 1946. He enjoyed playing golf and singing. He lived in Summerville for 18 years. He worked as a buyer for Ford Motor Company for 37 years retiring in 1977. He also served in the Canadian Army from 1944 to 1946.
