Sanders, Virginia "Ginny" Rose, age 85, of Knoxville, passed away September 26, 1999 at her home. She was born October 4, 1913 at Ezel, Kentucky. She was a graduate of Moorehead State Teachers College in Kentucky in 1939 and taught elementary school for several years. She met her late husband J.P. "Simmie" Sanders when he made a forced landing near her schoolhouse. After they were married in 1943, they operated Sanders Cycle Company, a dealership for Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
