David Howard Huskey, age 75 of Sevierville, died Thursday, December 21, 2000.He was the son of the late West and Mollie Huskey and was also preceded in death by his sisters, Clora Ogle, Lenora Huskey and Zella Hurst. He was a member of Valley View Baptist Church, an Army veteran of World War II and a great man, loved by all. Survivors: Wife: Rosa Lee Clabo Huskey Daughters and sons-in-law: Norma Sue and Edd Sutton Carolyn and Charlie Teaster Elizabeth and Jimi Rowland Myrel and Dale Huskey Brenda and Jeff Hickman Son: David Lee Huskey Grandchildren: Angela, April, Amy, Christy, Cindy, Jimi, Westley, Daniel, Nathan, Hanna Sisters: Iva Whaley Zaley Whaley Funeral service 7 PM Saturday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. She was a member of Little Cove Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Sara Huskey; husband Arvle Ownby; daughter, Shirley Brackins; son, Billy Ownby; granddaughter, Debbie Cook; son-in-law, Carl Henry; 5 sisters and 1 brother. Survivors: Sons and daughter-in-law: Gene and Juanita Ownby, Connie Ownby Daughters and son-in-law: Ruby and Shirley Henry, Myrtle Henry, Sue Watson 24 grandchildren 42 great-grandchildren 3 great-great-grandchildren Brothers: Bob Huskey Sister: Cecil Henry Funeral service 7 PM Saturday in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Rev. Mike Beck and Rev. Doug Clabo officiating. Family and friends will meet 2 PM Sunday at Little Cove Cemetery for interment. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Saturday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.

Hill, Celia Ann Weaver, age 60 of Maryville, passed away Thursday evening December 21, 2000 at Ft. Sanders Hospital after a short illness. Preceded in death by parents, Earl B. and Bonnie M. Weaver. Husband: Jim D. Hill Graveside services 4:00 PM Saturday at Highland Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 PM Friday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.

Frances C. Rymer

Rymer, Frances C. age 82 of Knoxville, passed away Thursday December 21, 2000 at St. Mary's Hospital. Mrs. Rymer was a long time member of Lake Forest Presbyterian Church and she was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, John P. Rymer. Sons and daughters-in-law: Ken and Gail Rymer and Russ and Ruth Rymer all of Knoxville Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday from Lake Forest Presbyterian Church with Reverend Kirk Warner officiating. Interment will follow in Lynnhurst Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons and close family friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lake Forest Presbyterian Church, 714 E. Lake Forest Drive, Knoxville, TN 37920. The family will receive friends, prior to the services at the church from 10 to 11 AM.

Lucille Bright Franklin

Franklin, Lucille Bright, age 94 of South Knoxville, passed away Wednesday December 20, 2000 at Cove View Residence for the Elderly. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and she retired from Standard Knitting Mill with 50 years of service. Mrs. Franklin was preceded in death by her parents, Pryor and Mallie Bright; husband, Albert H. Franklin; special nephew, William P. Hensley; 3 sisters and 4 brothers. Sister: Bess Hall of Halls Funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Rev. David Head officiating. Interment Mt. Olive Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, PO Box 566, Knoxville, Tn. 37901. Family will receive friends Saturday, 12:30 - 2:00 P.M. prior to the service at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Arrangements by Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Hwy.

She practiced at Holston Valley Community Hospital and Sevier County Hospital. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Sevierville. She was preceded in death by husband James T. Christain, brothers, Joe & Jack Kyker Survivors: Son & Daughter-In-Law: James Kyker & Mary Beth Christain, of Nashville Grandson: Clay T. Christain, of Nashville Nieces: Jane Stevens, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL Nancy Johnson (Reuben), of Moscow, TN Nephew: Sam Kyker (Sharon), of Maryville Funeral service 7pm Monday in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Ely & Rev. H.B. Hauk, Jr. officiating. Interment 10am Tuesday in Shiloh Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7pm Monday at Atchley Funeral Home.
