Noah Alvin McGinnis

McGinnis, Noah Alvin, age 66, of Knoxville, passed away October 21, 2000 at UT Hospital. He was Co-Owner and former instructor at the Tri-City Barber College on Central Avenue. He was a master barber since 1955, member of Lonsdale Baptist Church, member of Mascot Lodge F. & A.M., and member of the Knoxville Rescue Squad, helping build the building on Holston Drive. Preceded in death by sister, Mrs. Jean Harless. Wife: Joyce Copeland McGinnis Graveside Service 1 P.M. Tuesday, Lynnhurst Cemetery. Rev. Robert A. Sanders officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to Lonsdale Baptist Church, 1319 Connecticut Avenue, Knoxville, Tennessee 37921. The family will receive friends 7-9 P.M. Monday at Lynnhurst- Greenwood Chapel of Berry Funeral Home.

Russ Gaulke

Russ Gaulke, age 48, of Sevierville died Saturday October 21, 2000. He was an architect Chief Draftsman with P.C. Dynamics. He attended Oregon Institute of Technology and received his degree in Architectural Structural Drafting. He and his family also owned and operated the English Mountain Trout Farm and Grill since April 1999. He was a Vietnam Veteran where he received a Purple Heart. He was preceded in death by son, Shane Michael Gaulke, mother, Eva Gaulke. Survivors: Wife: Suzette Harris Boutilier Son: Brett Morgan Gaulke Daughter: Alexandra Noelle Boutilier Father: Ruben ''Doc'' Gaulke Funeral service 6pm Tuesday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Gray officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at Atchley Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Mothers Against Drunk Driving of Tennessee.

Walker Barnes

Walker Barnes, age 86, of Brooklyn Ohio, died Saturday, October 21, 2000 at Deaconess Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. He was born March 20, 1914 in Sevierville, Tennessee the son of James and Sara (Miller) Barnes. Mr. Barnes was a retired assembler for General Motors, where he worked for 30 years. Mr. Barnes had lived in Brooklyn, Ohio since 1953. He was a member of Cleveland Baptist Church and had been a member of Salem Baptist Church in the Jones Cove community of Sevier County, Tn. He enjoyed country music and was preceded in death by his wife Jessie Phillips Barnes, father James N. Barnes mother, Sara Alice Miller. Survivors: Sons and daughters-in-law: Jim and Donna Barnes, of Brunswick, OH Brent and Diana Barnes, of Brooklyn, OH Daughter and son-in-law: Betty and Byron Fike, of Parma, OH Grandchildren: Mark Barnes Brian Barnes Jeff Barnes Jimmy Fike Debbie Kerns Janet Barnes Great Grandchildren: Danny Barnes Matthew Barnes James Barnes Brothers: Charles Barnes John Barnes Funeral service 7 PM Thursday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Reverend Andy Ball officiating. Helen I. Everett, age 75 of Sevierville, died Monday October 23, 2000 at St. Mary’s Residential Hospice. She had been employed at Walmart in Sevierville for 10 years before her illness. Originally from Ohio, she moved to Sevierville in 1988. Survivors: Sister: Ethel Cremeens of Ironton, Ohio Daughter & Son-in-law: Linda & George Fear of Sevierville Sons & Daughters-in-law: John & Fran Proshek of Toledo Ohio Gordon & Judy Proshek of Las Vegas, Nevada 2 Grandchildren The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Wednesday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. Her final resting place will be with her parents and family in Ironton, Ohio. A “special thank you” to all of her friends from Wears Valley Baptist Church for all of their love and support through her illness. And “thanks” to Marlene, her other daughter.

She lived in Chicago, Illinois from 1926 until she moved to Pigeon Forge,Tn in 1981. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Emert Glenn Robertson. Ms. Robertson was an active volunteer and worked extensively with Patriot Park and Winterfest in Pigeon Forge,TN. She was the loving mother of: Daughters and sons-in-law: Roseann and Dan Huffaker of Seymour,TN Alice and Larry Cramer of Sidell, Illinois Lucy and Jim Shadle of Westmont, Illinois Nancy Rogers, Knoxville,TN Beloved grandmother of: Allison, Tom and Rita Shadle Benjamin Rogers Austin Willett Loving step-mother of: Ted Robertson and wife Karen of Michigan and their son John David Loving sister-in-law of: Cleo King and husband Ivan of Knoxville,TN Lucy Loveday, Sevierville,TN Lydia Householder, Pigeon Forge, TN Hazel Conner and husband Swen of North Carolina Sister of: Sam DeLucca of Chicago, Illinois Special aunt to many and special friend to more people than can be named. She loved her God, her family and friends and the City of Pigeon Forge,TN. Her passing leaves many happy memories to those who knew her.
