Bobby McNutt
Bobby McNutt, 78, Paris, died Friday, Oct. 19, 2012 at home. A private memorial service with cremation will be held later. Ridgeway Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
He married Gwyn McNutt and she survives with a daughter, Valeria Easley, Ariz.; a son, Walter McNutt of Utah; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was former co-owner of McNutt Tractor Co. of Paris and member of Maplewood Baptist Church. He was graduated from E.W. Grove High School in 1952.

Gerald Ladd McCord
Gerald McCord, 76, Cottage Grove, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012 at Tennessee State Veterans' Home in Humboldt. Memorial service at First United Methodist Church at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, with cremation to follow. Ridgeway Funeral Home is in charge.
He married Wanda Boyer McCord and she survives with three daughters, Gena Maddox, Huntingdon; Laura, Paris; and Amy Williams, Paris; a brother, William, Maryville; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He worked for 25 years as a demolitions expert in the road construction industry. He was a staff Sgt. in the U.S. Marines and a member of first United Methodist Church and attended UT Knoxville.

Gary Will Wimberly
Gary Wimberly, 68, Paris, died Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Henry County Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with burial in Stewart County Memorial Gardens, Dover.
He attended East Wood Church of Christ.
Survivors include his daughter Anna Wimberly, Pris; daughter, Missy Wimberly, Benton, Ky.; two sons, Todd, Paris; and Cory Wimberly of Puryear; sister, Carole Cirrincione and brother Steve Wimberly, both of Chicago; and brother, Brian Wimberly, Paris.

Lisa Jo Holcomb
Lisa Jo Holcomb, 52, Hollow Rock, died TUesday, March 19, 2013, at Plumley Rehab Center. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with burial at Henry Co. Tabernacle Cemetery, Springville.
She married Phillip Holcomb, who survives with a daughter, Traci Lackey, Paris; son, Joseph Walker, Puryear, step-son Dakota Holcomb, Miss.; sister, Vicki Taylor, Paris; and brother, Junior Powers, Paris.
She worked for 24 years at Tecumseh Products and formerly worked at Uncle Lee's. She was a member of Open Doors Community Church.

Marthan "Marty" Laird
Funeral service 11:00AM Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jenna Goggins of the First Presbyterian Church and Stefan Gerville-Reache her grandson officiating, burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park cemetery with her grandsons serving as pallbearers.
Visitation 4:00 - 8:00PM Friday at McEvoy Funeral Home and after 10:00AM Saturday at First Presbyterian Church.
She was born in St. Louis, MO to the late Irving Lawrence and Ann McComb Spencer. On February 1, 1947 she married Edward William Laird, he preceded September 25, 2010.
Survived by daughters: Ann (Loic) Gerville-Reache, Dickson, TN, Margaret (Alan) Camp, Bethlehem, GA; sons: Chae (Beverly) Laird, Birmingham, AL, Grant (Debbie) Laird, Puryear, TN, Price (Emily) Laird, Lawrenceville, GA; fifteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Laird was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Paris. She was a member of the Quota Club, Colonial Dames of the 17th Century, the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Marthas of the First Presbyterian Church in Paris. She enjoyed sewing and needle work, her dogs and traveling with her husband, Edward.

Katie Harding Woodford
Katie Woodford, 77, Paris, died March 18, 2013 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at McEvoy Funeral Home, with burial at Roselawn Memory Gardens.
Survivors include her husband, George Woodford, son Ricky Nance, Paris; brother Jerry Bridges, Henry.
She was former owner of Harding Food City.

Mildred Jones
Mildred Jones, 99, Paris, died Sunday, March 17, 2013, at her residence.
Funeral service 2:00PM Wednesday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Dr. Rob Martin of First United Methodist Church officiating, burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
Rotary Club members and the Staff of McEvoy Funeral Home will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation 12:00PM Wednesday until time of service.
She was born in Cottage Grove, TN to the late Robert and Sallie Ballard Doughty. On September 30, 1972 she married Joe H. Jones, he survives in Paris.
Survived by two step-daughters: Linda (Ralph) Goff, Mobile, AL, Cassandra Ewing, Mobile, AL; step-son: Anthony (Amy) Dallmann-Jones, Fond du Lac, WI and a special care giver: Betty Sue Anderson.
Preceded by four sisters: Mattie Hunt Hayes, Wilma Treadway, Joanna Highfill and Rachel Davis and two brothers: Sam and Robert Doughty.
Mrs. Jones was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Raymond Todd
Raymond Todd, 68, Paris, died Sunday, March 17, 2013, at his residence.
Funeral service 12:00Noon Wednesday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Page of the West Wood Pentecostal Church officiating, burial will follow at Walker Cemetery.
Named as pallbearers are Johnny Oliver, Mike Atchison, Matt Crank, Jonathan Rowlett, Mickey Hart and Johnny Wynn. Larry Nichols will serve as honorary pallbearer.
Visitation 4:00 - 8:00PM Tuesday and after 9:00AM Wednesday.
He was born in Henry County, TN to the late Roy Henry and Luella Perry Todd. On September 25, 1998 he married Shirley Anne Manseill Todd, she survives in Paris.
Survived by a daughter Tracy Alford, Summerville, TN; sons: Clint Alan (Vickey) Todd, Camden, TN, Jody Ray (Tara) Todd, Buchanan, TN, Allen (Lisa) Willoughby, Colorado Springs, CO, Walter (Litsa) Willoughby, Killeen, TX; sister: Mickey Lackey, Savannah, TN; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Preceded by two brothers: Robert Todd and Elroy Todd in infancy.
Raymond was a member of Maplewood Baptist Church. He graduated from Cottage Grove School and was a welder for the Henry County highway Department for 30 years.
Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday at McEvoy Funeral Home, with burial in Walker Cemetery.

Myrtle Hill
Myrtle Hill, 90, Paris, died Sunday, March 17 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with burial at Puryear City Cemetery.
She married Marcus Hill and he preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughter, Judy McGhee, Paris.
She was a member of Central Point Baptist Church and worked 35 years at Holley Carburetor plant.

Lou Frances Ellis Scott
Funeral service 11:00AM Friday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Merwin and Bro. Fred Shackelford officiating, burial will follow at Pleasant Grove (Dumplin Hill) Cemetery.
Named as pallbearers are Frankie Scott, Steven Scott, Johnny Scott, Jason Wade, Brian Scott and Robert Word. Tracy Wade will serve as honorary pallbearer.
Visitation 5:00 - 8:00PM Thursday and after 9:00AM Friday.
Born in Henry County, TN to the late Murray Thomas and Lela Lillian Nanney Ellis. On January 30, 1943 she married Elihu Scott, he preceded March 4, 2006.
Survived by a daughter: Judy (John) Wade, Paris, TN; sister: Gertie Scott, Paris; sisters-in- law: Gertrude Perritt and Louise Scott both of McKenzie; grandchildren: LuAnn (Robert) Word, Lakeland, TN, Jason Wade, Collierville, Frankie (Amanda) Scott, Paris, Steven Scott, Yuma, AZ; six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Preceded by a son: Daniel Scott, March 2, 2013; sister: Lee Edna Brown and a great-grandchild.
Mrs. Scott was a Baptist by faith, she was a homemaker and had worked at Rupes Gift Shop formerly of Routen, TN.
Memorials may be made to: Pleasant Grove cemetery "Dumplin Hill", c/o Judy Wade, 980 Palestine Road, Paris, TN 38242.

Henry "Harry" Agricola
Henry “Harry” Agricola, age 92, of Henry, TN, died Thursday, December 5, 2013, at Henry County Healthcare Center in Paris, TN.
He was married June 16, 1946 to Martha Frank Agricola and she survives.
He retired after 34 years as a manager for Worth Supply Co. Inc. in New York. He was a US Navy Air Force WWII veteran and Member of American Legion Post 89. Harry was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church where he served on the Finance Council for several years & as a Eucharistic Minister & Usher. He did maintenance work for the church for several years and was a Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of the Holy Cross Church Prayer Group & served on the Oktoberfest Committee for several years.
He was a son of the late Henry Agricola and the late Edith Geltz Agricola.
He is also survived by his two Daughters, Jean Marie (Ed) Denk of Coral Springs, Fla., Nancy (David) Luik of Oakland, Mich.; One Son, Donald "Don" (Denise) Agricola of Henry, Tenn.; One Sister, Edith Van Nostrand of Henry, Tenn.; grandchildren, Leanne Agricola, Katie Nelson, Jennifer Passino, and Eddie Denk and 4 Great Grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St. Paris, Tenn., where visitation will be from 4 to 8pm Tuesday, December 10, 2013 with a Rosary at 7 pm. The Funeral mass will be at Holy Cross Catholic Church at 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 11, 2013.
Father Kris Rusin will officiate.
Interment will be at Memorial cemetery in Paris, Tenn
