Regenia Paschall
Regenia C. Barnhill Paschall, age 62 of Buchanan, Tenn., died Saturday, June 21st at her residence.
Barnhill formerly worked as an LPN for Henry County Medical Center and Nashville Home Health for approximately 20 years, and most recently worked at Barnhill's Produce Farm in the Paris Landing area.
She was a member of Point Pleasant Baptist Church.
Paschall is preceded in death by her parents, William Edward and Eunice Todd Barnhill, and nephew Michael Barnhill.
She is survived by her brothers Donnie and Terry Barnhill of Buchanan, Tenn., daughter Jessica Cherie (Troy Swader) Paschall of Murfreesboro, Tenn., son Jay (Cassandra) Paschall of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and three grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at an unspecified later date; arrangements are being handled by McEvoy Funeral Home.

Lloyd "Billy" Peale
Lloyd Mason "Billy" Peale, age 84 of Paris, Tenn., died Friday, June 20 at his residence.
Peale formerly worked at Holley Carburetor and was a farmer, husband, and father of five children. He also attended Johnson Chapel Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence M. Peale and Bertha M. Lowe Peale; brother Howard Peale; and sisters Ruth Dunn, Thera Kemp and Gladys Easley.
Peale is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lois Hart Peale of Paris, Tenn. He is also survived by his sister Dorothy Souther of Warsaw, Ind.; brother Joe Lowe of Paris, Tenn.; daughters Anita (Ricky) Ford of Henry, Tenn. and Jan (Troy) Bruce of Paris, Tenn.; sons Randy (Pam) Peale and Bryant (Renae) Peale of Paris, Tenn., and Milton (Karen) Peale of Springville, Tenn.; 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Peale's family will be held from 4 to 7 PM Saturday, June 21st and after noon Sunday, June 22nd at McEvoy Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Sunday, June 22nd at 2 PM at McEvoy Funeral Home with burial to follow in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.

Erabella Smith
Erabella BriannaDee Smith, age 11 days of Paris, Tenn., died Thursday, June 19, at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in Nashville.
She was born June 8, 2014 in McKenzie, TN to Timothy Smith and Kesia Henderson, both of Paris, TN.
Besides her parents, she is also survived by her Three sisters, Shaynna Smith, Neveah McFarland, and Jadelynn Smith, all of Paris; maternal grandparents Amy (Jerry Dale) Gilbert of Paris; paternal grandparents, Ricky (Bobbie) Smith and Janice (David) Johnsonius of Paris; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Erabella was preceded in death by maternal great grandparents, Ronnie and Sherry Harper and Darlis Gilbert and Jerry Ward; paternal great grandparents, Otis and Wana Smith and Gene and Gloria Emerson; cousin, Ethan Smith; uncle, Larry Barritt.
Visitation will be held at Ridgeway Funeral Home Saturday, June 21 after 1 pm with the funeral service at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 21.
Interment will be at Bevil cemetery in Paris, Tenn.
Memorial donations may be made to The Smith Family, c/o Ridgeway Funeral Home, P.O. Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.

Harold Shatlain
Harold Eugene Shatlain, age 71, of Springville, Tenn., died Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at his residence in Springville, Tenn.
He was married Feb. 25, 1972 to Linda Dunning Shatlain and she survives.
Harold worked 16 years as a Bio Med Technician at Regional Medical Center of Memphis, TN and was also a Mason for several years in Memphis. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He was born September 19, 1942 in E. St. Louis, IL to the late Harold Louis Shatlain and the late Mary Beulah Linden Shatlain.
Besides his wife, he is also survived by his One Son, Robert Louis (Debbie) Shatlain of Columbia, Mo.
One Sister, Patricia Shatlain of Waterloo, Ill, 6 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn.
He is to be Cremated. No Service is planned.

Billy Lacy
Billy M. Lacy, 81, of Paris died Tuesday June 17th at Paris Healthcare Center.
Mr. Lacy was a machinist, worked and retired from Midland Brake with over 30 years of service. Billy was a graduate of Grove High School, was a Sargent First Class in the TN Army National Guard, and was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and attended Henry County High football games. Billy also loved animals. Memorials may be made to Tomorrow’s Hope, 211 North Brewer St. Paris, TN 38242.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday June 18th from 4-8pm and after 10am on Thursday June 19th at McEvoy Funeral Home. Funeral will be on Thursday at 11am with burial to follow in Hansel Cemetery.

George Upchurch
George Lafayette Upchurch, age 92, of Jackson, Tenn and long-time Paris, TN resident, died Monday, June 16, 2014, at the Tennessee State Veterans Home in Humboldt, Tenn.
He was married March 10, 1945 to Dorothy Lucille "Lucy" VanWinkle Upchurch and she preceded in death May 8, 2009.
George retired after 36 years at Holley Carburetor Plant as a Quality Control Engineer. He was a WWII US Army Air Corp veteran. He was a former member of First Baptist Church in Paris and a present member of Calvary Baptist Church in Jackson, TN.
He was born July 20, 1921 in Buchanan, TN to the late David Joshua Upchurch and the late Addie Vene Lawrence Upchurch.
George is survived by his Three Daughters, Linda (Gerald) Sparks of Jackson, Tenn, Kathy (Dan) Vaughn of Jackson, Tenn, LuAnn Upchurch Vernon of Henderson, Tenn; Two Grandchildren, Laura Vernon of Henderson, TN, Sara Vaughn of Kismet, KS; And one Great Grandchild, Joshua James Schallert of Kismet, KS.
Besides his wife and parents, George was also preceded in death by, Brother, David Upchurch; Sister, Elaine Richardson; and Grandchild, Joshua Daniel Vaughn.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where visitation will be from 10 am - 12:30 pm Thursday, June 19, 2014.
The service will be Graveside at New Beaver Dam cemetery at 1:00 PM Thursday, June 19, 2014.
Jimmy Farmer will officiate. Pallbearers will be Tom Upchurch, Gerald Sparks, Dan Vaughn, and Sara Vaughn.
Interment will be at New Beaverdam cemetery in Buchanan, Tenn.

Maynard Jackson Ater
Maynard Jackson "Jack" Ater, age 76 of Paris, Tenn., died Friday, June 13 at Henry County Medical Center.
Ater served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Army Reserve from 1957 to 1963. He worked as a mechanic at Page's Mobile Service Station and also at Yellow Cab, both formerly of Paris.
Ater attended Old Landmark Church in Paris.
He is preceded in death by parents Clarence and Ora Burlile Ater; wife Lilian Johnson Ater; sisters Mary Katherine Stoker, Pauline Ater, Annalee Blazer, Patricia Ater; and brothers James and Harry Ater.
Ater is survived by brothers Ben and Floyd Ater of Ohio; sisters
Louella Turberville, Karen Neiberline and Joy Poole, all three of Ohio; daughter Lora Ater Blanchard of Ohio; grandson John Blanchard of Ohio; and special friend Laura Brown of Paris, Tenn.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 AM Tuesday, June 17 at McEvoy Funeral Home with funeral services to be conducted at 11 AM Tuesday at McEvoy Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery.

Jimmy Allen
James Carl “Jimmy” Allen, age 70, of Paris, Tenn., died Thursday, June 12, 2014, at His residence in Paris, Tenn.
He was married in May of 1976 to Peggy Sue Smith Allen and she survives.
Jimmy was a member of First Baptist Church in Paris. He was a former City of Paris Police Officer and formerly worked at the South Fulton Police Dept. He was the former Head of Security for Jim Adams IGA. He was also a Member of the Fraternal Order Police and was a Retired heavy equipment operator.
He was born February 10, 1944 in Paris, TN to the late William Carl Allen and the late Annie Lee Raines Allen.
Besides his wife, Jimmy is also survived by his Two Daughters, Susan French of Paris, Tenn, Ruth Crane of Paris, Tenn; Two Sons, Tommy (Lori) Crane of Paris, Tenn, Roger Crane of Paris, Tenn; One Brother, Charlie Allen of Paris, Tenn; Grandchildren, J. Michael (Laura) French of Springville, TN, Megan (Kenny) Higashimura of Terre Haute, IN, Matt Whitehead of Paris, TN, Michelle Whitehead of Paris, TN, Tripp (Lindsey) Crane of Murray, KY, Morgan Hulett of Puryear, TN, Jonathan Crane of Paris, TN; Great Grandchildren, Sydney Dawn White, and Collier Ray Crane.
Besides his parents, Jimmy was also preceded in death by brothers, Joe Don Allen, Ronald Allen and Donald Allen.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where visitation will be from 4 – 7 pm Friday, June 13, 2014 and after 9 am Saturday, June 14, 2014.
The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 11:00 am Saturday, June 14, 2014.
Jimmy Allison will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Steve Kuykendall, Keith Kuykendall, Tripp Crane, Marty Allison, Matt Whitehead, and Charles “Chuck” Elizondo. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Johnny Dunn, James Wade and Roy Lackey.
Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Paris, Tenn.

Nelson Scott Waldkoetter
Nelson Scott Waldkoetter, age 49, of Puryear, died Wednesday June 11th at his residence.
Nelson was a Baptist by faith. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. It was said that Nelson loved his family and especially his grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be at 1pm Friday June 13th at Puryear Baptist Church.
