ANDREWS - Ester Davila Garcia, 87, of Andrews, a homemaker, died Monday, Oct. 7, 2002, at her residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Andrews with the Rev. Bernard Gully officiating. Burial will be at Andrews North cemetery. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at McNett Funeral Home. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home of Andrews.
She was born in Charlotte, Texas. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Guadalupe A. Garcia of Andrews; daughters, Gregoria Bermea of Andrews and Rosa Trevino, both of Andrews; sons, Faustino Mejia, Jose Gutierrez and Arturo Mejia, all of Andrews; 21 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Harry Nagel Jr.
PECOS - Harry W. Nagel Jr., 71, of Pecos, a retired city manager for the City of Pecos, died Sunday, Oct. 6, 2002, at his residence.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at San Geronimo cemetery in Seguin. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.
He was born in McQueeney. He was an Army veteran.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Nelda Nagel of Pecos; stepson, Les Phillips of Pineville, La.; daughters, Laurie Reese of Lake Worth and Donna Webb and Lisa Hill, both of Saginaw; and stepdaughter, Sammye Risinger of Carrollton.
Loudine Turner
ANDREWS - Loudine Turner, 80, of Andrews, a clerk, died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2002, at Andrews Healthcare Center in Andrews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Chapel in Andrews with the Rev. Dr. H.A. Hanks officiating. Burial will be at Andrews Old cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home in Andrews.
She was born in Wood County. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Husband, William H. 'George' Turner of Andrews; daughters, Dian Whittington of Mineola and Phyllis Duncan of Frederick, Md.; sons, Conrad Turner of Odessa and Alan Turner of Plano; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

KERMIT - Barbara Ann Wood, 67, of Kermit, died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2002, in Kermit.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Baptist Temple Church in Kermit with Richard Coffman officiating. Burial will be at Kermit cemetery. Arrangements by Family Services Funeral Parlor of Kermit.
She was born in Birmingham, Ala. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Vernon of Kermit; daughters, Sharon Joyce Sellers of Fort Worth and Theresa Diane Wood, Phyllis Ann Thomas, Sheila Gale Martin and Martha Lynn Richardson, all of Wink; brothers, Jim Meadows and Ken Meadows, both of Atlanta, Ga., and Johnny Meadows of Connecticut; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

ODESSA - Dennie Ray Bailey, 42, of Odessa, died Sunday, Oct. 6, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.

Louise Carter
ODESSA Louise Carter, 72, of Odessa, a retired cook, died Thursday, Oct. 10, 2002, at her residence in Odessa.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. James Baptist Church with the Rev. McNeil officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill cemetery.
She was born in Ladonia and moved to Odessa in 1955 from Wichita Falls.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Natalie Carter of Alvarado, Shirley Everett of Aurora, Colo., and Aline Vaughn of Texarkana; brothers, Eddie Bogar of Fort Worth, Robert Bogar of Ladonia and Teordis Bogar of Calipatria, Calif.; sisters, Jonell Shaw, Fayrine Coooper and Annie Mae Brown, all of Dallas, Hazel Shephard of Taft, Okla., and Merille Franklin of Sulphur Springs; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

ODESSA Cliff Deas, 78, of Odessa, a retired city of Odessa employee, died Saturday, Oct. 12, 2002, at Hospice House in Odessa.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Frank W. Wilson Funeral Chapel with the Rev. William Chapman officiating. Burial will follow at the Ector County cemetery. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
He was born in Ellisville, Miss., and moved to Odessa in 1954. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Norma Deas of Odessa; daughter, Lisa Uhlhorn of Odessa; son, Glen Deas of West Monroe, La.; brother, Wayne Deas of Huffman; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.

She was born in Philadelphia.
