ODESSA — Ruben Paul Galindo, 50, of Odessa, a former business owner, died Monday, March 31, 2003, in Lubbock.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Ann Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church with the Rev. Mark Woodruff officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Home.
He was born in McCamey.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Dolores Galindo of Odessa; daughter, Theresa Mendoza of Odessa; son, David Galindo of Odessa; father, Amador Galindo of Mission Viejo, Calif.; brothers, Amador Galindo Jr. and Lupe Galindo, both of Odessa; sisters, Stella Esparza, Erma Galindo and Isadora Subia, all of Odessa.

Lois Garrison
FORT STOCKTON — Lois Garrison, 68, of Fort Stockton died Monday, March 31, 2003, in Fort Stockton.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Immanuel Baptist Church with Steve Ramirez officiating. Burial will be at East Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
She was born in Wink. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Wayne Garrison and Keith Garrison, both of Fort Stockton; and five grandchildren.

Jack Lee
CRANE — Jack S. Lee Sr., 76, a retired plant operator, died Tuesday, April 1, 2003, in Crane.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. at Fairmount cemetery in San Angelo. Arrangements by Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
He was born in Desdemona. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Gregoria Lee of Crane; daughters, Maria Aldrich of Del Rio, Barbara Valdez and Lucy Rittenhouse, both of Odessa, and Carmen Hall of Crane County; sons, Juan de La Cruz of San Antonio, Jack Lee Jr. and George Lee, both of Crane; 19 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

MIDLAND — L. C. Neatherlin, 76, of Midland, a retired car dealership owner, died Monday, March 31, 2003, in Midland.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Christian Church with Dr. Tommy Potter officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements by Ellis Funeral Home.
He was born in Bronte. He was an Army veteran.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Brenda Cauthen of Midland; sons, Bobby Neatherlin and Craig Neatherlin, both of Midland; brother, Julian Stroud of Midland; and six grandchildren.

Juventino Olivas
FORT STOCKTON — Juventino P. Olivas, 88, of Fort Stockton, a general laborer, died Monday, March 31, 2003, in Fort Stockton.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today at East Hill cemetery with Randy Salazar officiating. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
He was born in El Mulato, Chihuahua, Mexico, and had lived in Fort Stockton since 1994. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Aida Olivas of Fort Stockton; daughters, Adela Lujan of Laredo, Tesia Galindo and Alma Salazar, both of Fort Stockton, Alicia Lujan of Esmeralda, Coahuila, Mexico, and Manuela Galindo of Odessa; sons, Ancelmo Olivas of Hatch, N.M., Fidel Olivas and Jose Olivas, both of Odessa; brother, Jose Olivas of Ojinaga, Mexico; 39 grandchildren; 77 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Robert Williams
KERMIT — Robert Leaman Williams, 86, of Kermit, a retired aerospace manufacturer, died Monday, March 31, 2003, at Kermit Healthcare Center.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Fairview cemetery in Memphis, Texas. Arrangements by Family Services Funeral Parlor.
He was born in Memphis and had lived in Kermit for 10 years. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Ottie Francis Dollins of Glenheights, Susan Neighbors of Heldon, Okla., and Rose Smith of Canyon; son, Robert Michael Williams of England; and sister, Roselyn Williams.

Roger Tello
STANTON — Roger Tello, 37, of Stanton died Tuesday, April 1, 2003, in Fort Stockton.
Services are pending with Stanton Memorial Funeral Home and Chapel.

Alice Christman
POTTSBORO — Funeral services for Alice Christman, 92, of Odessa, a retired teacher of Grayson County and Hereford schools, died Friday, Aug. 8, 2003, at the Home Hospice House in Odessa.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Georgetown Baptist Church in Pottsboro with the Rev. Austin Ryan officiating. Burial will be in the Georgetown cemetery in Pottsboro. Arrangements are by McNett Funeral Home of Andrews.
She was born in Grayson County and moved to Odessa in 2000 from Andrews. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Lois Ketcham of Andrews; son, Paul Christman of Tyler; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Juan P. Contreras II
PECOS — Juan P. Contreras II, 67, of Pecos, a farmer, died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2003, at Odessa Medical Center Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at Santa Rosa Catholic Church with the Rev. Gustavo Lopez officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood cemetery. Arrangements are by Peaceful Garden Funeral Home Chapel.
He was born in Candelaria and was a longtime resident of Pecos. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Mary G. Contreras of Pecos; sons, Juan Contreras III of San Angelo, Michael Contreras of Pecos and Jody Contreras of Odessa; daughters, Diana Contreras of Pecos and Amy Contreras of Odessa; brothers, Ismael Contreras of Seagraves and Albert Contreras of San Antonio; sisters, Rosa Barragan of Valentine and Guadalupe Rayos of Pecos; and six grandchildren.

Gilbert Montanez
BIG SPRING — Gilbert S. “Pancho” Montanez, 46, of Odessa, a Derrick Man for Chapparal Energy, died at Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2003, at Hospice House in Odessa following a four-month illness.
Mass was celebrated at 4 p.m. Friday at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Rev. James Plagens officiating. Burial was at Trinity Memorial Park. Arrangements by Myers and Smith Funeral Home of Big Spring.
He was born in Big Spring and lived most of his life in Big Spring until moving to Odessa eight years ago. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Son, Gilbert Montanez Jr. of Odessa; father, Teofilo M. Montanez of Big Spring; sisters, Manuela Camarillo of Altus, Okla., Rosie Montanez of Dallas and Julia Hartman of Big Spring; brothers: Ben Montanez of Taylor, Carlos Montanez of Big Spring, Ismael Montanez of Dallas, and David Montanez of Altus; and two grandchildren.

Melvin Proctor
MIDLAND — Melvin Proctor, 67, of Midland, a retired car detailer, died Thursday, Aug. 7, 2003, at Midland Memorial Hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Martinez Funeral Home with the Revs. J. W. Hanson and R. C. Hutchinson officiating. Burial will be in the Ector County cemetery in Odessa. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.
He was born in Marlin and moved to Midland 38 years ago. He had previously lived in Marlin and in Odessa.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Jason Jarvis Saddler and Marvin Tyrone Saddler, both of Midland, and Melvin C. Proctor Jr. of Dallas; daughters, Charlotte Denise Hemphill, Tawania Nichole Cooks, Latasha Roshawn Cooks, Antonea Lashay Roseberry and Kiondra Renee Proctor, all of Midland.

ODESSA — Joseph “Michael” Ybarra II, 20, of Odessa, a student at Odessa College, died Thursday, Aug. 7, 2003, in Odessa.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Temple Baptist Church with the Rev. Shawn Koonce officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
He was born in Odessa and graduated from Permian High School.
SURVIVORS: Parents, Mike and Lisa Ybarra of Odessa; and sister, Crystal Hoskins of Odessa.
