DeSOTO — Dovie R. Ashcroft, 77, of DeSoto, died Friday, Oct. 3, 2003.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at West/Hurtt Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Art Toombs officiating. Burial will follow in Dallas/Fort Worth National cemetery.
She had lived in Odessa for 25 years.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Sandy Pritchard of Cedar Hill, Pat Hebert of Ovilla; sister, Martha Craig; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Beverly Brewster
ODESSA — Beverly Jean Brewster, 63, of Odessa, an archivist at UTPB, died Sunday, Oct. 4, 2003, at Hospice House.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens cemetery. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
She was born in Brownwood and was Presbyterian.
SURVIVORS: Mother, B. Ernestine Brewster of Odessa; brothers, Larry (Tom) Brewster of Sapulpa, Okla., Dennis Brewster of Abilene and Scott Brewster of Rio Rancho, N.M.
Patricia Keese
MONAHANS — Patricia Ann Keese, 56, of Monahans, a homemaker, died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2003, at her residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Todd Rush Chapel of Family Funeral Services with Gale Wilson officiating. Arrangements by Family Funeral Services.
She was born in Edinburg.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Jerry Keese of Monahans; son, Jerry Keese Jr. of Monahans; daughter, Tammy Ricks of Odessa; mother, Myrtle Louise Dukes of Gardendale; sisters, Kathleen Henson of Crystal City, Mo., Glenda Hunt of Midland and Debra Babcock of Lubbock; and three grandchildren.

ANDREWS — E.W. “Duncan” Duncan, 83, of Andrews, former owner and operator of S & D Grocery, died Monday, Oct. 6, 2003, at Home Hospice House in Odessa.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at McNett Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Donnell officiating. Burial will be at the Andrews North cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
He was born in Roaring Springs. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Ruby Duncan of Andrews; daughters, Sharron Perucca of Andrews and Debbie Ward of Austin; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Otis Johnson
SEMINOLE — Otis Neil Johnson, 73, of Seminole, a retired farmer, died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2003, at Llano Memorial Hospital in Llano.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Floyd Haddock officiating. Burial will be in the Gaines County cemetery South. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.
He was born in Lubbock and moved to Seminole in 1957 from Lamesa. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Lois Faye Johnson of Seminole; sons, Roy Johnson and Otis Lee Johnson, both of Seminole; daughters, Donna Kay Nace of Kingsland and Linda Russell of Seminole; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

MIDLAND — Jaime Benavides Puentes, 19, of Midland, died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2003, in Midland.
Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. today at Reyes Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of San Juan Catholic Church with the Rev. Tom Kelly officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements by Reyes Funeral Home.
He was born in Midland.

ODESSA — Lula Pearl Roach, 83, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2003, at Hospice House.

She was Baptist.

ANDREWS — Ronald “Runt” Warren, 74, of Andrews, a former sanitation superintendent for the City of Andrews, died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2003, at Home Hospice House in Odessa.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. today at McNett Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ted Short officiating. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home of Andrews.
He was born in O’Donnell and moved to Andrews in 1949. He is an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was Baptist.

He was born in Sanderson and came to Andrews in 1954.

She was born in Santa Helena and was a resident of Alpine for most of her life. She was Catholic.
