SAN ANGELO — Helen Louise Powell Kirkpatrick, 82, of San Angelo, died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2003.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Water Valley cemetery with the Rev. Dan Dunavant officiating. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. at the Water Valley United Methodist Church. Arrangements are by Johnson’s Funeral Home.
She was born in Ozona. She was Christian.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Jack Kirkpatrick of Lubbock, Charles Kirkpatrick of Austin and Dan Kirkpatrick of Sarasota, Fla.; daughters, Dr. Marillyn ‘Bitsy’ Odum Ed.D. of Midland and Nan Kirkpatrick Montague of Austin; sister, Sudy Bedford of Midland; brother, Harry Wright of San Antonio; and five grandchildren.
Bennie Lankford
ODESSA — Bennie Carl Lankford, 63, of Odessa, a retired engineering maintenance technician, died Friday, Oct. 24, 2003, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.
He was born in Sweetwater and was a longtime resident of Odessa. He was a Navy veteran.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Lanis Lankford of Odessa; sons, Norman Tankersley and John Brent, both of Mineral Wells; daughters, Candiae Lujan of Odessa and Denise Flowers of Mineral Wells; brothers, Phillip Lewers of Lake Wells, Fla., and Ed Costello of Crawley; sisters, Majorie Lewers of Lake Wells, Fla., and Dean Graham of Odessa; and two grandchildren.
Michael Wilks
ODESSA — Michael ‘Jerry Kaye’ Wilks, 53, of Odessa, a radio personality, died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2003, at Medical Center Hospital.
Memorial services will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Agape Ministries with the Rev. Jimmy Dennis officiating. Arrangements are by Chapa Funeral Home.
He was born in Odessa.

Rodger Boykin
ODESSA — Rodger Dale Boykin, 42, of Odessa, an oilfield roughneck, died Friday, Jan. 2, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
He was born in Galveston.

Ezia Fletcher
PONCA CITY, Okla. — Ezia E. “Granny” Fletcher, 91, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Monday, Jan. 5, 2004, in Odessa.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Resthaven Memorial Park cemetery with the Rev. Billy R. Evans officiating. Arrangements are by Grace Memorial Chapel.
She was born in Onia, Ark. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Sons, A.T. “Tom” Fletcher of Odessa and Jay Fletcher of Ponca City; daughter, Eudene Stacy of Kingston, Okla.; and six grandchildren.
Baldemar Garcia
ODESSA — Baldemar Garcia, 72, of Odessa, a supervisor in the oil industry, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2004, at his residence.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Ueker officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements are by Odessa Funeral Home.
He was born in Ochoa, Tamaulipas, Mexico. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Aida Garcia of Odessa; son, Baldemar Garcia Jr. of McAllen; daughters, Aida Castillo and Thalia O’Hanlon, both of Cedar Park, Aleyda Garcia and Victoria Salgado, both of Odessa, and Adriana Martinez of Taylor; brothers, Nestor Garcia and Ramiro Garcia, both of Ciudad Mier, Mexico, Israel Garcia of Santa Monica, Calif., Robert Garcia of Fresno, Calif. and Enede Garcia of Houston; sister, Anita Rodriguez of Roma; and 12 grandchildren.

MIDLAND — James Orville Little, 80, of Odessa, an employee in the construction business, died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2004, at Midland Memorial Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Porterfield officiating. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
He was born in Bright Star, Ark. He was a veteran of World War II.
SURVIVORS: Son, James C. Little of Midland; daughter, Sherry Roundtree of Odessa; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Bobby Phillips
ODESSA — Bobby Joe Phillips, 68, of Odessa, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Coleman cemetery in Coleman. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

He was born in Menard. He was a veteran of World War II.

MIDLAND — Allen Wheeler, 54, of Midland, died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2004, at his residence.

He was born in Howard County. He was Baptist. He was a paratrooper for the United States Army.
