KERMIT - Pauline Caro Lopez, 88, of Kermit, a retired cook, died Saturday, Aug. 7, 2004, at Kermit Healthcare Center.
Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. at Van Horn cemetery in Van Horn. Arrangements are by Family Services Funeral Parlor in Kermit.
She was born in Chihuahua, Mexico.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Eliseo Enriquez of Fort Worth; Ernesto Enriquez of Valrico, Fla.; Vincent Enriquez of Irving; Adam Enriquez of Fort Stockton; Candelario Calderon Jr. of Van Horn; Joe Calderon of Phoenix, Ariz.; Rosendo Calderon of El Paso; Oscar Calderon of Big Spring; Fernando Calderon of Van Horn; Lorenzo Calderon of Odessa; daughters, Rafaela Sanchez of Van Horn; Josie Carillo of Wink; Erma Dart of Spokane, Wash.; sisters, Elena Barrera of Odessa; Lala Timberlake of Hillsboro, Ore.; Isabel Vasquez of Van Horn and Carmen Silva of El Paso; and 49 grandchildren.

ALPINE - Justin K. McLean, 84, died Saturday, Aug. 7, 2004, in Lubbock.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church in Alpine. Arrangements are by Agape Funeral Chapel in Lubbock.
He was born in Framingham Mass. He was Presbyterian.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Helen McLean of Alpine; son, Mark McLean of Big Spring; daughter, Laurie Hoover of Lubbock; brothers, Sherwood McLean of Whitinsville, Mass., and Lloyd McLean of Framingham, Mass; sisters, Patricia Dickey of Ashland, Mass. and Joan Zanki of Framingham, Mass; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Dennis Thompson
ODESSA - Dennis 'Dink' Randel Thompson, of Odessa, 57, died Thursday, August 5, 2004 while on a job site in Hudspeth County.
He was born in Lamesa. He was an oilman.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Hubbard-Kelley Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Carolyn Thompson of Odessa; son, Dennis Thompson Jr. of Odessa; daughters, Kim Thompson and Karla Vanlandingham of Graham; Denise Brown of Odessa; and Melissa Thompson of Odessa; brother, Winston Thompson of Bastrop; and eight grandchildren.

ODESSA - Gary Lynn Watkins, 57, a State District Court judge, died Sunday, August 8, 2004, at Alliance Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated 2 p.m. Tuesday at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. A private interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
He was born in Crane. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Hope Watkins of Odessa; sons, R. Trent Watkins and Travis Watkins, both of Dallas, and Grant Watkins of St. Petersburg; daughters, Heather Watkins and Summer Roberson, both of Round Rock; mother, Leona Watkins of Odessa.

Alfonso Almodova Sr.
ODESSA — Alfonso O. Almodova Sr., 76, of Odessa, a laborer in the construction industry, died Monday, Aug. 9, 2004, at Odessa Regency Hospital.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Uecker officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements are by Odessa Funeral Home.
He was born in Alpine. He was a Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Gregoria O. Almodova of Odessa; sons, Alfonso “Al” Almodova Jr. and Ralph Almodova, both of Odessa; daughters, Grace Almodova of Odessa and Angie Molinar of Las Vegas; brother, Joe Almodova of Albuquerque, N.M.; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

TEMPLE — Robert “Bo” Bolin, 76, of Odessa, died Monday, Aug. 9, 2004, in Odessa.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
SURVIVORS: Son, Bruce Allen Bolin of Corpus Christi; brothers, James Bolin of Lake Tahoe, Calif., Billy Bolin of Temple and Johnny Bolin of Austin; and sisters, Mary Fuoco of Jacksonville, Fla., Edith Reynolds of Miami and Ruthy Lee Bolin of Temple.

H. Donald Chesser
BROWNWOOD — H. Donald Chesser, 66, of Brownwood, died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2004, in Dallas.
Services will be held at 3 p.m Thursday at Central United Methodist Church with the Rev. Gary Torian officiating. Burial will be at Oakview cemetery in Mullins. Arrangements are by Davis-Morris Funeral Home.

ODESSA — Grace Marie Johnson, 82, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Monday, Aug. 9, 2004, at her residence.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jess Little officiating. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was a Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Dwayne Johnson of Sweetwater and Ronnie Whorton of Prescott, Ariz.; daughter, Madeline Kay Rich of Odessa; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Nancy Long
ABILENE — Nancy Boren Long, 83, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Monday, Aug. 9, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Life House Assembly of God Church with Dorothy Boren officiating. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Chillicothe.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Alton Long of Baird; son, Loyd Boren of Abilene; daughters, Karilyn Carter of Tye and Glenda Oden of Pocola, Okla.; step-daughters, Portia Dunn of Baird, Jacinta Cranford of Abilene and Quita Lyles of Graham; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Ivan McLemore Jr.
ODESSA — Ivan Nolan McLemore Jr., 79, of Odessa, died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2004, at his residence.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Ector County cemetery. Arrangements are by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
He was born in Mexia. He served in the Army and was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Brother, Wayne McLemore of Midland; and sisters, Ruby McKee of San Marcos and Nettie Mirke of Odessa.

FORT STOCKTON — Maurico Herrera, 75, of Fort Stockton, died Monday, Aug. 9, 2004, at his residence.
Services are pending with Memorial Funeral Home.

ODESSA — Mary Clark, 77, of Odessa, a retired secretary, died Thursday, Aug. 12, 2004, at Seabury Nursing Home.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Chapel with Dr. David Mindel officiating. Burial will be at Andrews cemetery in Andrews. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
SURVIVORS: Son, Phillip Clark of Odessa; brother, Dale Weaver of Pearland; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Robert Korner
ODESSA — Robert E. “Bob” Korner, 60, of Odessa, a retired employee for the U.S. post office, died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2004.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Grace Christian Fellowship. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in San Antonio. He served in the Army.
SURVIVORS: Eiko Korner of Odessa; son, Robert E. Weed of Calif.; daughters, Christina Beck, Miyuki Korner and Regina Korner, all of Odessa; brother, Ronald Korner of Houston; sister, Wanda Lee Smullen of Calif.; and six grandchildren.
