ODESSA - Allen Lynn Vandenberg, infant son of Tracy Colley and
Michael Vandenberg of Odessa, died Monday, Nov. 8, 2004, at his
residence.
Memorial services will be at 5 p.m. Saturday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Odessa.
SURVIVORS: Parents; brother, Charles Colley Russell; and grandparents, Charles D. and Jamie Colley, James and Frances Irwin, Joe Colley, Kay Vandenberg and Ken Kishyama.

Raymond Hooper
ODESSA - Raymond Hooper, 69, of Odessa, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2004, at Sienna Care Center.
Services are pending with Martinez Funeral Home.

Salomon Salmeron
DALLAS Salomon Salmeron, 48, of Dallas, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2004, at Parkland Hospital.
Services are pending with Odessa Funeral Home.

R.O. BAKER
SEMINOLE - R.O. Baker, 76, of Seminole, died Saturday, Nov. 6 at Memorial Hospital in Seminole.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Community Chapel with the Rev. Dan Dale officiating. Burial will follow in Segraves cemetery.
He was born in Athens. He wasa BaptistHew as a past member of the Odd Fellows and was active with Seminole Senior Citizens. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Regina Baker and Renee Chapman, both of Stephenville, Carolyn Newman of Santa Fe, N.M., and Barbara Hayes of Austin; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.

RODOLFO M. BRITO
BIG SPRING - Rodolfo M. Brito, 80, of Big Spring, formerly of Odessa, died Friday, Nov. 5 at Scenic Mountain Medical Center following a long illness.
Vigil services will be at 7 p.m. today at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church in Barstow with the Rev. Manuel Munoz, officiating. Burial will follow in Barstow cemetery.
He was born in Ruidosa. He had lived in Big Spring for 30 years coming from Odessa. He retired from the Texas and Pacific Railroad. He was a Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Robert Brito of Odessa, and Miguel Brito and Richard Brito, both of Big Spring; two daughters, Maria Rojas and Gloria Brito, both of Big Spring; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; and one sister: Lola Carrasco of Pecos.

MELVIN VINCENT COWAN
FORT STOCKTON - Retired Fr. Melvin Vincent Cowan, 89, of Fort Stockton, died Thursday, Nov. 4 in Odessa after a lengthy illness.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Fort Stockton with Fr. Floro Hinacay officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Monday at St. Agnes Catholic Church. Burial will be at a later date in Hayward, Calif.
He was born in Oklahoma City, Okla. He was ordained a Catholic priest in 1943 and served the Fort Stockton-Coyanosa area from 1980 to 1983.
SURVIVORS: Siblings, Harvey Cramer of Oklahoma City, Okla., Val Valentine of Fremont, Calif., Richard Avascal of Pleasanton, Calif., and Millie Avila of Clovis, Calif.

HETTIE HAKE
ODESSA - Hettie Hake, 95, of Odessa, died Nov. 5 at her residence.
Services are at 3 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Keene cemetery in Keene.
She was born in Blevins, Ark. She was employed by Missouri Pacific Hospital in St. Louis, Mo., and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Darlene F. Simmons; step-son, Belmont C. Hake; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.

BERNIS L. LINCOLN SR.
ODESSA - Bernis L. Lincoln Sr. 71, of Odessa, died Saturday November 6 in Monahans.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Rose of Sharon Baptist Church with the Rev. Roy Gentry officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill cemetery.
He was born Texarkana, Texas. He was a retired Cpl. with the Odessa Police Department.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Dorothy Lincoln of Odessa; son, Bernis Lincoln Jr. of Odessa; daughters, Julia Smith of Monahans, Miriam Harris of Lubbock; brother: Aron Lincoln of Paris, Texas, Robert Lincoln of Florida, and Bobby D. Lincoln of Virginia Beach, Va.; six grandchildren: two great-grandchildren.

ANGEL JESUS GARCIA OLVERA
MARATHON - Angel Jesus Garcia Olvera, 49, of Marathon, died Friday, Nov. 5 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Marathon. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Fr. Rick Ruiz as celebrant. Burial will follow in Marathon cemetery.
He was born in marathon. He was a U.S. Postal Service carrier.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Maria (Pineda) Olvera of Marathon; son, Angel Olvera Jr. of Corpus Christi; daughters, Veronica Olvera of Arlington, Roxanna Olvera and Sonia Olvera, both of Marathon; brother, Leo Olvera of Fort Stockton; sisters, Mary Lou Lara, Lupe Olvera, Ana Zamudio, all of Marathon, Cissy Salmon of Fort Stockton; seven grandchildren.

JOE DAN TOLAND
ANDREWS - Joe Dan Toland, 42, of Andrews, died Saturday, Nov. 6 in Austin. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Andrews Church of Christ with Mark Wilson, pulpit minister, officiating.
Graveside services will be 4 p.m. Tuesday at Resthaven Memorial Park in Lubbock.
He was born in Plainview. He was a journalism teacher at Andrews High School. He was a member of the Andrews Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Julie Toland of Andrews; son: Jarrett Toland of Andrews; parents, Jack and Delores Toland of Lubbock; two sisters: Jackie Geer of Fairfield and Joani Davis of Overbrook, Okla.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Family Funeral Services Chapel with the Rev. Monte Kesey officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery.
He was born in Odessa.
SURVIVORS: Brothers, Leonard Hernandez, Angel Hernandez and Daniel Hernandez, all of Monahans; and sister, Eva Hodges of Pickton.

Lindsay Allen Lovell
FORT STOCKTON - Lindsay Allen Lovell, 53, of Fort Stockton, died Friday, Nov. 5, 2004.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be at East Hill cemetery.
He was born in Lubbock.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Maria Liliana Lovell of Fort Stockton; parents, James and Sue Lovell of Floydada; brother, Tom Lovell of Colo.; sister, Sue Ann Collins of Lubbock.
