MIDLAND - Lyddia A. Roe, 69, of Midland, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2004, at the Hospice of Midland Inpatient Unit.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at the Pipkin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. M.R. Thomason officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
She was born in Indian Gap.
Survivors Sons, Gary Dean Roe, Jerry Lee Roe and David Roe, all of Midland; daughter, Helen Potter of Midland; brothers, Clarence Cox of Odessa and Robert Cox of Big Spring; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Charles ‘Jack’ Warneke
KERMIT - Charles ‘Jack’ Warneke, 79, of Kermit, a sales representative for Chance Tool Co., died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Belvue Baptist Church with the Rev. James Weizenecker officiating. Burial will follow in the Gaines County South cemetery. Arrangements are by Cooper Funeral Chapel.
He was born in Mart. He was Baptist. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
Survivors Wife, Nell Warneke of Kermit; daughters, Paula Dean of Denver City and Kris King and Karla Petty, both of Midland; sister, Betty Stroope of Waxahachie; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Pablo O. Granado
Odessa - Pablo O. Granado, 91, of Odessa, died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2004, at Sienna Nursing Home in Odessa.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are by Odessa Funeral Home.
He was born in Van Horn and worked at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
Survivors Wife, Sista Matta Granado; daughters, Melba Muñoz and Lea Venegas, both of Odessa; brothers, Fernando Granado, Gregorio Granado and Lorenzo Granado, all of El Paso; and sisters, Isabel Quiroz, Susana Mejia, Maria Jimenez, Elisa Moreno and Josephina Esparza, all of El Paso; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Ramon Guerrero
Pecos - Ramon Guerrero, 86, of Pecos, a retired farmer, died Friday, Dec. 24, 2004, at Reeves County Hospital in Pecos.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Santa Rosa Catholic Church with the Rev. Gustavo Lopez officiating. A rosary was at 7 p.m. Sunday at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Greenwood cemetery.
He was born in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico. He was a longtime resident of Pecos. He was Catholic.
Survivors Sons, Ramon Guerrero, Evaristo Guerrero and Juan Guerrero, all of Pecos, Jose Guerrero of Abilene, Luis Guerrero of Austin, Sergio Guerrero of Odessa and Fernando Guerrero of Midland; daughters, Pilar Solis and Rosie Flores, both of Pecos, Socorro Rubio of Dallas and Ysella Betts of Hobbs, N.M.; 25 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Jonathan Matta
Pecos - Jonathan Matta, 22, of Pecos, died Friday, Dec. 24, 2004, in Pecos.
Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Santa Rosa Catholic Church in Pecos. A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at the Pecos Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be at Mt. Evergreen cemetery.
He was a life-long resident of Pecos.
Survivors Father, Jerry Matta; mother, Corina Matta; and grandparents, Ben and Chuy Matta, all of Pecos.

Miles Owen Powell
Odessa - Miles Owen Powell, 77, of Odessa, a long-time oil field and machine shop worker, died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2004 in Odessa.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
He was born in Stephenville.
Survivors Wife, Miriam Powell, of Odessa; daughters, Cherryna Stinson of Odessa and Janie Martinez of Central Heights, Ariz; sons, Jimmie Ingram of Sheboygan, Wis., and Bill Powell and Bob Reeder, both of Central Heights, Ariz.; 16 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.

Barbara Ann Rudd
Odessa - Barbara Ann Rudd, 64, of Odessa, died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2004, at Hospice House.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. today at Faith Community Baptist Church.
She was born in Monahans. Arrangements are by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
Survivors Husband, Jack Rudd of Odessa; sons, Ron Rudd of Mt. Pleasant and Scott Rudd of Odessa; daughter, Michelle Ragsdale of Odessa; brothers, Arthur Lynn White of Odessa and Wilford Bill White of Odessa; sister, Melba Bowers of Odessa; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

L.K. ‘Lon’ Steward
Kermit - L.K. “Lon” Steward, 77, of Kermit, a retired Enron employee, died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2004, in Odessa.
Memorial services will be private. Interment will be at Kermit cemetery. Arrangements are by Family Service Funeral Parlor.
He was born in Neodesha, Kan. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors Wife, Faye Steward of Kermit; sons, John Steward of McKinney and Eric Butler of Lubbock; daughters, Vicki Arpad of Los Angeles and Cindy Steward of Little Elm; sister, Betty Woods of Houston; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

W. R. ‘Buster’ Tuttle
Odessa - W. R. Tuttle, 89, of Odessa, the owner of the Tuttle Trucking Company in Lamesa, died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2004, at Avalon Place in Odessa.
Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. today at the Dawson County cemetery in Lamesa.
Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home in Odessa.
He was born in Abilene.
Survivors Son, Robert Tuttle of Odessa; daughters Ann Weesner and Pat Neeley, both of San Antonio; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Mary Walden
Monahans - Mary Walden, 93, of Monahans, a former secretary, died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2004, in Lubbock.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Monahans Memorial Cemetary. Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home of Monahans.
She was born in San Antonio.

MONAHANS - Florencio Abila, 82, of Monahans, a retired pipe fitter, died Monday, Dec. 27, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital.
Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. today at Heritage Funeral Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John’s Catholic Church with the Rev. John Lucido officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery.
He was born in Barstow. He was a Catholic.
SURVIVORS Sons, Ruben Abila of Monahans, Raul Abila of Grandfalls and Florencio Abila Jr., Robert Abila, Lupe Abila, Israel Abila and Ismael Abila, all of Odessa; daughters, Manuela Santiago, Ramona Riley and Socorro Estrada, all of Odessa and Brenda Zapata of Midland; brothers, Antonio Abila and Robert Abila, both of Odessa and Theodoro Abila of Dallas; sisters, Maria Abila and Juanita Abila, both of Phoenix; 32 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.

Mildred ‘Midge’ Borland
PLAINS - Mildred “Midge” Borland, 72, of Andrews, a retired telephone operator, died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2004, in Odessa.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Plains cemetery with the Rev. Mark Wilson officiating. Arrangements are by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in Yoakum County. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS Sister, Thelma Tabb of Midland; and brother, J.D. Huffman of Holcomb, Kan.

Art Costello
ODESSA - Art Costello, 78, of Odessa, a brick layer in the construction industry, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 2004, at Deerings Nursing Center.
Services will be at a later date. Arrangements are by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
He was born in Fairsetha, Colo.
SURVIVORS Wife, Janette Costello of Odessa; daughters, Tammy Beakley of Odessa and Terry Accalra of Buena Vista, Colo.; son, Eddie Costello of Albuquerque, N.M.; sisters, Mary Jane Valdez and JoAnn Costello, both of Pueblo, Colo., and Helen Midula of Tampa, Fla; and four grandchildren.

Presley L. Hudgens
ANDREWS - Presley L. Hudgens, 79, of Andrews, a former roughneck in the oil field industry, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 2004, in Odessa.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at McNett Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating.
He was born in Brownfield. He was a member of Andrews Church of God.
SURVIVORS Wife, Nora Hudgens of Andrews; daughters, Barbara Ann Helms of Odessa and Nora Jean Warnick of Andrews; brother, C.W. Hudgens of Lubbock; five grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

ODESSA - Clyde Hughes, 83, of Grapevine, a manager for a lumberyard, died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2004, at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth.
Military graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Charles Tapley officiating.
He was born in Walter, Okla.
SURVIVORS Son, Allan G. Hughes of Grapevine; daughters, Toni S. Clutter of Edgewood, N.M., and Misti Jamrowski of Odessa; one brother; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Anton Lemer
ODESSA - Anton Lemer, 71, of Odessa, a retired oilfield worker, died Friday, Dec. 24, 2004, at his residence.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
He was born in Drake, N.D. He served in the Navy.
SURVIVORS Daughters, Candace Hass and Cindy Blackwell, both of Salt Lake City, Brenda Malson and Toni Lemer, both of Odessa and Susan Mayo of Casper, Wyo.; son, Howard Lemer of Colorado Springs, Colo.; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and 10 brothers and sisters.
