Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Andrews Church of God with the Rev. Lance Baker officiating. Burial will be at Andrews Old cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in Brown County. She was a member of the Church of God.
Survivors: Husband, O.E. Nichols Sr. of Andrews; son, Oscar E. Nichols Jr. of Andrews; daughters, Nancy Stokes of Stephenville and Betty Bellow of Grandbury; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

ODESSA -- Gerald Thompson, 61, of Odessa, retired owner of Western Burger, died Friday, June 5, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Westwood Baptist Church with the Rev. Weeks Dubose officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.
He was born in Brownfield and moved to Odessa in 1946 from Lubbock. He was Baptist.
Survivors: Wife, Linda Thompson of Odessa; mother, Sadie Thompson; daughters, Shanae Thompson of Odessa, Dena Reese of El Paso; son, Jerry Thompson of Odessa; sister, Judy Billingsly of Houston; and three grandchildren.

Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Friday at Fort Stockton Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m Saturday at St. Agnes Catholic Church. Burial will be at St. Joseph cemetery. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
He was born in Fort Stockton and was a lifelong resident. He was Catholic.

STILLWATER, Okla. -- Burniss Buford "Speck" Holder, 82, of Stillwater, Okla., a retired employee of Gulf Oil Company, died Wednesday, May 27, 1998, at Stillwater Medical Hospital.
Services were held June 1, 1998, at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. James P. Gragg officiating. Arrangments by Strode Funeral Home.
He was born in Sulphur Springs and moved to Stillwater in 1992. He was Methodist.
