Fort Stockton - Martha Brazell, 74, of Fort Stockton, a Realtor and salesperson, died Thursday, Aug. 11, 2005, in Fort Worth.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Fort Stockton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Terry Wright officiating. Burial will be at East Hill cemetery.
She was born in Crane. She was Baptist.
Survivors Son, Delton Brazell of Fort Worth; daughter, La Donna A. Brazell of Austin; and four grandchildren.

Otilio Hernandez Escudero
Fort Stockton - Otilio Hernandez Escudero, 81, of Fort Stockton, died Thursday, Aug. 11, 2005, in Fort Stockton.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at St. Agnes Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 4 p.m. Saturday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Joey Faylona officiating. Burial will be at Fort Stockton cemetery. Arrangements are by Memorial Funeral Home.
He was born in Sanderson.
Survivors Son, Primo Escudero of Aurora, Ill.; daughters, Janie Cantú of Marshall, Rose Rivera of Aurora, Ill., Petra Gonzales, Margo Hernandez and Patricia “Tumby” Escudero Ramirez of Fort Stockton, and Mary Garcia of Crane; 16 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Michael Gardner
Odessa - Michael Gardner, 41, of Odessa, died Monday, Aug. 8, 2005, in an Odessa hospital.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
He was born in La Mirada, Calif. He was a member of Agape Christian Ministries.
Survivors Sisters, Jacquline West and Leslyn Kelso, both of Odessa; stepfather, Gary Ward of Odessa; and grandmother, Doris Thomason of Odessa.

James D. ‘Jimmy’ Pipkin
Andrews - James D. “Jimmy” Pipkin, 59, of Andrews, a self-employed insurance agent, died Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at his residence.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at McNett Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ted Short officiating.
He was born in Newman, Calif.
Survivors Daughters, Kelsea Jo Pipkin of Crosby and Dawn Meider of Houston; mother, Doris Pipkin of Andrews; sisters, Sandy Brown of Andrews, Denise Pipkin of Boerne and Dianne DeShazo of Bandera.

Dr. Kirby Jack Tatum
Odessa - Dr. Kirby Jack Tatum, 78, of Odessa, a medical doctor, died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2005, at Hospice House.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Frank Wilson Chapel with Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating.
He was born in Corsicana. He was Methodist and an Army Air Corp veteran.
Survivors Wife, Georgia Tatum; brother, Homer S. Tatum of Carrollton; sons, Mark Tatum, Jeffery Tatum, Ray Ford, Larry Ford and Matt Ford; daughters, Deborah Proctor, Alice Rowe and Betsy Morin; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Seminole - Billy Nichols, 75, of Seminole, died Thursday, Aug. 11, 2005, at Permian Residential Care Center in Andrews.
Services are pending with McNett Funeral Home.

Estefana Anaya
Odessa - Estefana Anaya, 56, of Odessa, died Saturday, May 14, 2005, at Medical Center Hospital.
She was born in Ojinaga, Mexico.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Martinez Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Mark Miller officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery.
Survivors Sons, David Anaya and Arnold Anaya, both of Odessa; mother, Felisiana Herrera of Ojinaga, Mexico; brother, Manuel Marquez of Midland; sister, Martha Marquez of Midland; and 16 grandchildren.

Jennie Lucretia Pevey Anderson
Seminole - Jennie Lucretia Pevey Anderson, 72, of Seminole, a former office manager with Western Auto Store in Hobbs, N.M., died Sunday, May 15, 2005, at Seminole Memorial Health Care Center.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at M.S. Doss Community Chapel with the Rev. David Moore officiating. Burial will be at Gaines County Memorial cemetery. Arrangements are by Ratliff Funeral Home of Seminole.
She was born in Cherokee, Okla.
Survivors Husband, Tommy Anderson of Seminole; son, William White Jr.; stepson, David Anderson of Seminole; daughters, Cindy Dickerson and Mary White, both of Hobbs, N.M.; stepdaughters, Jody Anderson of Seminole, and Mika Ryan of Vancouver, Canada; brother, James E. Noble of St. Augustine, Fla.; sisters, Jane Mathis of Wichita, Kan., and Polly Jean Lathrop of Clairemore, Okla.; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Odessa - Mary Bynum, 78, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Saturday, May 14, 2005, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
She was born in Sulpher Springs. She was Church of Christ.

She was born in Brownsville. She was Methodist.

She was born in Rule and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Andrews.
Survivors Four granddaughters; and four great-grandchildren.

William ‘WildBill’ James Gaffey
Odessa - William “WildBill” James Gaffey, 55, of Odessa, an electrician, died, Saturday, Aug. 20, 2005, at his residence.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Odessa Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Private burial will be held. Arrangements are by Odessa Funeral Home.
He was born in Myrtle Point, Ore., and was an Army veteran.
